Live Stars has been an ambitious project. Along the way, we encountered quite a few unfortunate events, including Parity multisignature wallet hack, dramatic cryptocurrency market value drop right after the token sale and several issues within the development team, which resulted in us finishing the project in cooperation with another team, as well as the Cryptopia hack and their eventual bankrupcy.

Even though we succeeded in releasing a fully functional, stable product, we have no more funds for marketing campaign for the platform nor we have funds for new exchange listing which is required now that cryptopia announced their bankrupcy.

Unfortunately, we are closing Live Stars project because there is no ways to continue developing in the current circumstances.

Dear community,

Several days back, we have deployed our final release and launched the streams. Unfortunately, cryptocurrency market value decrease that started right after we completed our token sale up and went on up to recent days affected our project very much. Due to long processing and several our own mistakes, we have been late to exchange our cryptocurrency to fiat.

Despite various problems along the way, we have launched the final working release succesfully. However, we lack marketing budget. We are very upset that we won't be able to launch the project the way we initially invisioned.

We believed in our project and continued working on it, sometimes without any reward at all. Our small team struggled to meet the deadlines as it turned out to be much more work than we expected, so we decided to finish the project with cooperation with another team of developers.

We are currently looking for ways to build up the marketing budget and find a future for our project.

During the last few weeks, we have been working on payment processing for Live Stars platform.

We have implemented custom amount token deposits, which means users can now deposit any amount of token they choose.

Also, we are now performing final tests of our cryptocurrency payment integration, which will allow users to purchase LIVE tokens on Live Stars platform using popular cryptocurrencies.

All of these features will be available on the final release.

The files you provided links to are located on our .io website, which is our landing website. The function of this website is simply to provide overall info about our project to those interested. We decided to use Wordpress with a custom design because this way we can easily delegate the landing website content management to our community managers.

We understand that the past several months have not been the best for the Live Stars project and community.

The current situation on the cryptocurrency market has dramatically affected our project. Cryptopia exchange is not currently working due to the hack that happened in January, and several other exchanges have been closed due to lack of liquidity. This, unfortunately, has an effect on us as we rely heavily on user ability to purchase tokens independently.

We are now looking for other solutions, as there is no certain information about Cryptopia at the moment. Our budget has also suffered due to cryptocurrency market shrink, so we have no option to compete in the webcam market as we are now.

Moreover, we are now encountering issues with our development servers, that are very important in these final stages of development.

Our core team continues to develop and do our best for the platform.

Weekly update.

1. This week we continued to monitor the KMS situation and the media server seems to be working in parameters. We started the load testing scripts to stress test our platform and we are currently planning for the results. So far everything works as expected.

2.  Installed a new debugging service for the development department to better assure the platform stability and faster fixes.

3. Block country functionality fix. The broadcasters are now able to block the country that they are connecting from.

4. Double register bug occurring on some accounts when they registered has been discovered and a fix has been implemented.

5. The online tag from the homepage might remain as "online" in some situations. A temporary fix has been implemented and as soon as a permanent one is available we are going to deploy it.

Other small issues that occurred during the week have been solved and deployed. This includes optimizing some functions for better performance and speed.

Weekly update.

1. A new version of the Kurento Media server has been released and installed. This will prevent the Media Server from crashing when clients don't disconnect properly from the software, which was determined by a library called Libnice. This update increases the general stability of the project and the streams should not be disconnected from now on in no circumstances.

2. The new newsletter management service has been completed in development and testing is being currently made on the new implementation. This will prevent different email providers to mark the ip as a spammer in case of a large email campaign. The new system will deliver the highest possible rates of emails allowed in general / hour, in our case 20 emails / 15 minutes for the newsletter. The transactional emails that must be delivered right away will continue to work instantly through a SMTP relay.

3. Other improvements on the base platform have been made as well, that include some small bug fixes that improve the general stability of the platform and will be deployed soon.

We just received an update from Kurento media server that in the latest nightly build the issue with broadcasts is solved, so we are currently updating the media server on our dev servers and as soon as we can confirm that the issue with library is solved we are going to upgrade the platform as well. After that, Kurento should work properly and no other issues have to occur.

Here is the weekly update received from our tech team. Bugs solved this week:

1. Models can now change private chat prices.

2. Online after private not updating.

3. Session appears offline after a period of time - session manager timeout account

4. Permanent fix on Session Manager for Users out of Tokens

5. Resolved some issues with Spy and simple Private billing

We are now working on making sure that Kurento media server solution is working, and it turned out it is because of the weakness in the library used on our platform. Tech team willow address the issue.

We are glad to announce that Live Stars platform https://www.livestars.stream/#!/ was successfully launched. First live broadcasts were stress-tested and it works very well. Platform will be continiously developed and updated in the future - bugs and issues will be fixed, new features implemented. We are also going to change the design of the platform when it comes to final release, planned on December 2018.
Our next steps include platform popularity boost, marketing, new models.

We are glad to announce that work on the Live Stars Beta 2.0 platform has been completed. At the moment we are preparing the platform for the first launch, we are hiring models and negotiating with the studios. We are planning to start open tests on 10/29/2018.

Another week has passed and it is time to share the results with our community.

During the last two weeks, a lot of work has been done concerning development and testing of essential Live Stars webcam platform features, such as streams and LIVE token processing. We have reworked model account dashboard and completed the development of one of the most important parts of the platform - administration panel.

At the moment we are testing out the visual side of the website, mark-up, and user interface.

We are now conducting closed beta test of platform functions. We still have to complete the stress-test of our new streaming system.

During the next several weeks we will finish our redesign tests and will be ready for public testing.
