This is a possibility. However, you should check the legitimacy of the operator beforehand. Do not calculate in USD but in the cryptocurrency you want to invest in.

Most cryptocurrencies are based on trading Bitcoin. If the price of Bitcoin (based on USD) falls, the other cryptocurrencies will also fall. Since the exchange price between Bitcoin and the exchanged cryptocurrency will remain the same.

They under the dictatorship of Putin, really invaded Ukraine and ignored all international standards. They are punished by massive sanctions on their bank system and many areas. With Bitcoin, they can avoid traditional sanctions against them. To do this, will they legalize Bitcoin in Russia soon?
