Same here. I haven't watched in a while so I didnt really know since when it's not working. I have used their exchange service last week and it was working fine though I'm confused whether I should use next week or not.I voted for Preev now that they are already online it's an old converter they seldom go offline the only time that they went off is when the owner failed to renew it.
Although there is a question on their security because it's showing as unsecured I'm okay on it as long as my anti-virus is not blocking it, thanks to this poll I got to know other converters now I have two more options to use for price comparison.

1. It is now promoting a site called https://OrdinalsWallet.com/.
2. It has added lots of coins/tokens that was not there before. ETH & ORDI(BRC20) are visible. You'll also find BCH, BSV, TRX, ADA, MATIC, SOL etc. through searching.
3. Contact is now pointing to https://twitter.com/preev_, which used to promote a site called https://Preev.pro before, which was backed by BSV people.

I used PNNV when the PREEV domain was off but now that they are back online I voted for it, even though Preev is in second place in this poll I still think its the most popular Bitcoin converter there is, because it's the oldest converter, and many have used it and it became their reference for many years I've been using it for 5 years already.
Checking Preev on whois the admin extended it up to 2025.

PNNV.com has become my go to website when I need to check BTC price. In addition, I'm using their instant swap services which can be another reason for using the website.
Preev is definitely a great option but let me be honest. I prefer using pnnv because this is a community made wesbite (agentf) and we should encourage him. He is spending money to advertise the site despite not monetizing the website.

Category 2 & Category 3 are open-source. But, Category 1 is not. In Category 1, you are the only player, who has a representation on BitcoinTalk.

Sorry if I may be disappointing some people here and there, but right now my favorite is one... that's not yet on your list either: https://preecs.coolstorage.org/ (maybe you can still add it? actually there are many others that could be added to the list, including https://bitcoindata.science/bitcoin-units-converter.html)
I believe, in an era ruled by CoinMarketCap/CoinGecko/Nomics, Preev.com was still popular because of certain reasons...1. Simple interface
2. Dedicated domain
3. No advertisement
The first option, given by you, can be still be considered as a dedicated subdomain. But, the second option simply does not cut it. If I include that, I'll need to include many others like https://nomics.com/markets/btc-bitcoin/usd-united-states-dollar etc. In any case, if more people mentions https://preecs.coolstorage.org, I'll include it in the poll.
In another post on BitcoinTalk, I came across two more domains, running the same script. These, I believe, can become alternative to Preev.com. So, I am including those as well...

So, as many of us have already noticed, Preev.com is down for some time now. In an era ruled by CoinMarketCap/CoinGecko/Nomics, Preev.com was still a thing for many of us. We liked it for its simple interface. But, now, as the plugs have been pulled, we were looking for an alternative. Interestingly, many have sprung up quickly to fill the void. So, I collected them from various threads discussing those on BitcoinTalk and putting it forward to all of you for a vote.

please read and educate yourself before you push anybody towards cloudflare in the future... Cloudflare is fine for any service that isn't privacy-focussed... But not if you think your clients don't want their details in an FBI/CIA/DOD/... database. I, for one, wouldn't care if the FBI knew i was buying new lightbulbs, so a lightbulbstore could use cloudflare.
On the other hand, i WOULD mind if the FBI knew i was mixing coins, or buying a subscription to a porn site, or if i bought a new hunting knife. So if one of these businesses would use cloudflare, i wouldn't touch them with a 20 foot pole.

For example, it is no secret that Anonymixer.com is hosted on Hostkey.com and Chipmixer.com is hosted by Choopa.com. So, how difficult is it for FBI/CIA/DOD to get data from these web hosts, if they can do the same for Cloudflare?
How many expensises does a super web hosting needs for 10 years? Half bitcoin?

I never felt that I am in risk but for the first time, it seems like we are actually risking ourself a lot of by selling BTC to unknown. What if they get a trace of ourself and link us with such transactions? Would we be also get punished? For your info, we had to use our mobile number to continue dealing.

For your kind information I tried to sell my bitcoin to one of the localbitcoin buyer. But he asked my passport and NID copy to verify my self. Then how this a non-kyc platform I don't know. Also, I don't think the rate of the loaclbitcoin is fair enough. There is always a big difference from the market rate.
Do I need to complain your bounty manager that you are doing shit positing without even reading the post? Where did you find that I mentioned LocalBitcoins? LocalBitcoins now has mandatory KYC rule. I am talking about other non-KYC P2P alternatives like LocalCryptos.com, local.Bitcoin.com or HodlHodl.com, where there is no concept of centralized KYC. You may chose who to trade with and decide whether you'll provide any of your personal information. Moreover, these platforms are safer because authorities will never get your personal details from the platform administration. Even if you provide any of your personal info, that would be between you and your trading partner. If someone asks for your info, you should ask the same from him/her as well.

I did not even know that BTC HODLers got so many Crypto for free!The primary drawback for BAT is that, to redeem BAT reward, one requires KYC. Currently, the only exchange where it can be done is Uphold. I have heard more exchanges like Coinbase etc. will be on board soon. But, KYC requirement will be there.

My point was Why a random subset, while you can filter through Forum Position? May be Legendary is not required now, but minimum level can be set as Full Member.
Merit system is in place since January 24, 2018. A lot of people contributed before, but did not earn any merit for that. Those threads have gone down in the history of BitcoinTalk. Only a handful of those get merit today. IMHO, the only way to recognize the contribution made before January 24, 2018, is to consider Forum Position as a selection criteria of DT.

- New users registering after Merit introduction will have a disadvantage compared to users ranked up before (possibly with low effort posts). Theymos is known for disliking too much restrictions for new users and obtaining a Legendary rank would take almost 2 years.
Do we really want someone, who has not given at least two years to this forum, at DT1? I dont know...- Such a change could encourage account sales of high-ranked accounts when scammers are trying to abuse trust.
This appears to be a very lame excuse. In a free market, if something is valuable, there will always be an attempt to achieve that through money power in black market. This is no secret. Even the current model of selection encourages merit & account sales.There are less than 100 DT1 members
