DeaDTerra will take delivery from KNCMiner and coordinate with the buyer.

Can you list out the mechanics of how this transaction would work?

It strikes me as being fairly simple:

I'd provide the auction winner and DeaDTerra with a fresh BTC address, and explain to DT that (upon funding of that address with the agreed-upon amount) I transfer my claim on 1 of his 5 Jupiters from his top-500 queue order to the auction winner. (He's already posted as to his confirmation and cooperation with this sale)

DT will coordinate with the winner for either physical delivery, or hosting by KNC:
For physical delivery, DT would either provide KNC with the shipping address for the single unit, or pick it up himself and ship it to you (winner pays freight) For KNC hosting, I suppose KNC would provide you with access to the unit, or you'd provide KNC with pool information for that one unit.

what if the buyer wants to have the unit hosted with KnC

Actually, I think DeaDTerra is planning to host his remaining Jupiters with KNC (he's traveling over the next few days in Spain)

Leaving this unit hosted with KNC should be no problem at all. Shipping is also an option.

Well that's a bummer. So what's to stop the account owner from changing the address back once the buyer pays? Also what if the buyer wants to have the unit hosted with KnC.

Meh, this is not wroth the hassle then.

This are registered and paid for by DeaDTerra: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=40976

DeaDTerra pre-ordered and PAID FOR 5 Jupiters, and I purchased (from him) one of the 5. Upon payment, I'll announce the transfer of my interest to the auction winner. Obviously, your ultimate trust is that DeaDTerra acknowledges your ownership of 1 of his 5 units. (He'll take delivery from KNCMiner and coordinate with you)

DeaDTerra will confirm these facts in this thread shortly.

This is NOT the same as transferring pre-orders before. This is an already paid for order and not simply an unpaid spot in the line.

Exactly.

$8500 in BTC shipped to the sunshine state...where it rains everyday

These bids would need to be purchase price only.

KNCMiner has been paid for these units, but shipping will be an additional cost.

(shipping would need to be logistically coordinated with DeaDTerra)

When will this be shipping? Sorry if I'm missing some info..

My understanding is September - but I would refer you to the KNCMiner threads for updated information.

ASICMINER hit 2BTC/share.
Excellent. I wonder how many shares we have left to sell off. DT must be busy at the conference now but I hope he is keeping an eye on the sales. Thanks guys!
We have roughly 2800 shares left,
I do keep track of the price but I do not want to loginto BF due to security reasons.
//DeaDTerrra
Cool, so we sold 1/4 of shares in 2 weeks. That is good. Yes best to wait until you are back home safely.

Mother of GOD:

Gamma fund is going to be nicely profitable in BTC, and a huge success relative to anything else.

I'm quite sure that had I personally managed the BTC I have in Gamma, I would have done a LOT WORSE.

Thank you, DT!
