Although Bitcoin has gained a reputation as an anonymous means of purchasing illegal goods on the dark net, the public ledger means that it’s actually possible for anyone to view the transactions that are taking place, even if the blockchain doesn’t tell you who each of its digital wallets belongs to.

Re: How much money and bitcoins do you need to influence the price?
by
Lunalionn
on 19/11/2018, 10:02:30 UTC
I think maybe it could be up to $ 1 million to be able to affect the price in the market
There is no exact amount of money that could help you influence the price of bitcoin. If so, I don't think that $1 million is enough. It must be more.

Re: Is wallet security important to use?
by
Lunalionn
on 19/11/2018, 08:43:05 UTC
I once read for security wallet,
this is just for discussion how to secure the wallet. I do not think there is a security system and there will be no theft in the wallet.

If you choose your wallet or phone software, you need to be extra careful! Remember that bitcoins are stored inside your device. If your computer or phone breaks down, your bitcoin is gone too! Thieves can also take your bitcoin if it gets access. Consider the following tips to avoid losses:

Perform regular backups regularly
Save the backup on another device like in flash or another computer.
Use the encryption feature
With encryption, each transaction requires a login with a password. This prevents thieves who manage to gain access to your computer.
Do not forget the password
Losing a password equals losing your money! Wallet does not provide a password forgot feature.
Learn more please learn how to secure your wallet here: http://bitcoin.org/en/secure-your-wallet

Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?
Your Knowledge and Ideas will be more helpful if shared.
If you have already stayed a long time in cryptocurrency, you must know the important of wallet security. HAve basic knowledge to protect yourself and to avoid theft.

Yes, bitcoin transaction fee is getting higher and higher because the cost of mining is higher than the price in the market.

I trusted Bitcoin. I feel I lose a lot of money when storing Bitcoin. I don't know and do not want to follow the river course jumps. I want to learn something new. I believe It's possible.
Well, to me, bitcoin is never a good decision for storing money. you must know that Bitcoin is unstable, you can not believe it for storing your money.

Re: I am a crypto newcomer , where should I start?
by
Lunalionn
on 17/11/2018, 10:07:48 UTC
My friend introduce crypto to me last month, and my friend also told me about this forum. then I bought 2 BCH few days ago, because I saw my friend also bought BCH. now there are 2 coins in my wallet called BCHSV. My friend told me that this is also BCH,but I still don't understand it. Now my concern is that their prices have been falling, and I don’t know if the price will rise again.
It was obviously a bad start for a crypto newcomer. Now what should I do, where should I start?
I have spent some time getting familiar with here. here are so many altcoins here, but I don't know which one is worth investing?
First of all, I think you should spend more time to learn about crypto currency, when you have enough basic knowledge, I'm sure you will know where to start. Goodluck to you.

Re: Did you ever regret having gotten into Bitcoin?
by
Lunalionn
on 17/11/2018, 09:30:02 UTC
Interesting question, I know. For me personally the answer is no - I have not ever regretted having gotten into bitcoin, despite having spent hundreds and hundreds of hours researching the topic.  It's always been an interesting ride.

But I have a friend who got scammed and he regrets having had anything to do with crypto in the first place. It's pretty sad but there's nothing I can do about it. I even offered giving him half of the amount he lost from my own crypto stash (mind you I am not rich) but he's so scared that he's not interested any longer...
Me too. whenever I invest in something, I will never regret for my investment. The reason is quite simple, I already did some researches about my investment before investing, that is the reason why i am so confident with my decision.

Re: If you had 10000$
by

on 17/11/2018, 07:54:28 UTC
If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?
No matter what people say,If I have 10k $, I will invest all to BTC. As a bitcoin believer, I will support bitcoin with both without thinking much. I already had my own plan before deciding that.

Re: What are you worried about?
by
Lunalionn
on 17/11/2018, 07:37:57 UTC
Hey guys,

I got a few questions, i'm interested in knowing what people in the crypto industry may be worried about. What fears do you have in regards to crypto?

What would you say is in the back of your mind and pops up at times, a concern you have in the industry? What is it that makes you worry at times?

In all industries and markets there's certain concerns and fears pertaining to different issues, i'm curious to know what people fear in the crypto industry? Why?

What are your pain points in the crypto world?

If the answer is the obvious, afraid it goes to $0 etc.. then tell me why? what impact would that have on you, give me a explanation of what effect that has on you and in what way it concerns you, beyond just going to $0? I'm wanting to understand what the fears and impacts on people lives are in the crypto industry, obviously losing money because it goes to $0 and you become broke is an issue, but why? Explain it a bit more to me if thats your answer.
I am worrying about the legalization of bitcoin. If the government continue banning bitcoin, it will soon disappear.

Re: Who controls the market?
by
Lunalionn
on 17/11/2018, 04:05:44 UTC
Remember, this whole thing about crypto is largely decentralized, thus, there is no single authoritative body in control of the crypto market. Although there are few centralized platforms among crypto, the market is largely influenced by the efforts and influence of the users of crypto. How well sellers and buyers treat the coins on the market affect the performance of the market.

I am thinking about an invisible hand that can control the market but I am not sure about this.what do you guys think about this?

That is a good news for those who are prepared to learn about Bitcoin and the investors. But can any of them predict the price of Bitcoin by the end of 2018?

10.000 $  Wink
You can’t be serious! I don't think bitcoin can go up to 10k$ by the end of 2018, it is impossible. Maybe you can think about this the next year, not now.

Re: I think 2017 was the best Year for Crypto
by
Lunalionn
on 17/11/2018, 02:25:08 UTC
The whole year of 2017 was the best.

From January to December 2017 it was a very good run and I guess that bull run gave the side effect for this year. This probably the reason why we are still on bear.

No doubt about it. 2017 was a great year for bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Hopefully, when it turns to 2019, this great year will come back.
