Just because there are people still mining this dead coin, doesn't mean it has any value.   It's numbers for numbers sake.  A billion grains of sand are as worthless as 100 grains, if no one has use for or can use that sand.  Same, too, for Teacoin.    An intrinsic purpose has to be given to it, for it to have any value... to anyone.

I'm just tired of SEEING these 888,888 KICK  in my iOS Coinbase Wallet that I cannot possibly use, because I'm located in the USA, so I'm in one of those "banned" countries.  Ugh!  So, how can   I actually get rid of these tokens in my wallet?  I want them GONE!  I'd give them away if I could!  Send them into the heart of the sun... THAT would sure burn them!

Thing is, talk is cheap.  Actions speak louder than words.  We need people willing/able to DO what is needed, not just talk about it.  I'm (unfortunately) not that person.  I have no programming skills and I can't find any route to requesting access to or cancellation of the existing Teacoin FaceBook page.  Maybe just getting it shut down/closed might be the only option and then just starting up a new Teacoin page?  As for the wallet, I suggest modifying an existing POS wallet, like Piggycoin or Beancash or similar,  Something that's pretty "dead" as a crypto, yet the wallet source code is still easily accessible.

I've proposed a possible solution/reboot on the thread you reference.  It's not a matter of IF we can do it, but HOW we go about it.  I'd appreciate some feedback...

This coin is dead.  The site is dead.  The Facebook page is dead.  However, always an optimist, I would like to see if it were possible to recreate Teacoin into a viable alternative way to buy/sell tea and tea products to people.  However, a total reset is required to reboot this coin.

I propose we attempt to, first, take over the Facebook page, by whatever means are legally at our disposal.  Nobody goes there anymore anyways.  So it would be a clean slate.  Then, we create a new wallet, with a PoS coin, but a totally different way of getting Teacoin.  You chat.  It would be known as PoC (Proof of Communication).  For every "cycle" of communication between two wallet users (a "query" and a "response"), you earn .25 TEA.  An algorithm checks that certain communication parameters (standards) are met, before issuing the coin.

Once we have the new wallet up and running, we offer existing "old Teacoin" holders a one time opportunity.  They can trade up to 1,000 "old" Teacoin for 10 new Teacoin.  Why is the trade value so low?  Because all we're doing is giving old Teacoin holders an onramp to the new Teacoin and the amount of Teacoin required to buy/sell will be realistic and not tied to fiat value or other value.  The old TEA has no other value.  Just delete your old wallet and forget about it after the trade.

Certain new rules wll be in effect.  You cannot possess more than 1,000 TEA at any one time.  Value of product + shipping must be completely valued in TEA (not to exceed the total amount any one person can hold, which would be quite excessive, to expect that much, but not disallowed).  You must have a desire to not only want to SELL tea products, but BUY them as well.  Thus, if you dont like tea... why bother?  TEA will have no value outside of the TEA community (network of Teacoin wallet users).  I think a new whitepaper is in order, to lay out all the in's and out's of this new venture.

Personal prediction: Latium will go NOWHERE, just like the first time.  They will take people's money (in ETH/BTC) and keep "changing focus" (just like this new LAT token -> LATX garbage).  It's all a scam, people!  But, as someone famous once said... "There's a sucker born every minute."  Shame people never learn.

I still have 60 LATC in my wallet.  Having missed out on the earlier opportunity, will there be any other opportunity to trade out or have I lost out completely?  Just want to know if my LATC have any hope or I should just delete my wallet and walk away.

I was waiting til the last stage, to allow as much interest to build as possible before trading.  There was no indicator saying that only IF the amount desired was raised, the 2 wk pool sale would occur, was there?  Of course, it looks like you only raised under 2M LAT Tokens (according to the page), so this project is probably going to take awhile to get rolling, no?

I'm curious... what can I do with 50 LAT tokens, once I've exchanged them for my 60 LATC coins in my wallet?  I like getting interest on what I hold.  Love POS coins.

How do I exchange my LATC for LAT Tokens on the Latium.org site?  There is only options for ETH, BTC, and NEO right now.

They are trying to fund their new LAT ( value) by selling Old LAT (No value) in trade for ETH (worth about $250 or so) with pre-sale. Phase 1 will involve getting new LAT ( Value) in trade for worthless LAT in a 1:1 trade.

I think the reason we're seeing such a slow take-up in the pre-sale is because people realize that they're essentially buying 150 worthless coins with ETH, which has a known value of about $250 each.  If this project dies on the vine before the new LAT is ever produced, people will be holding a lot of worthless coins and spent a fair amount of money for it.

Not a wise business move, in my opinion.  I'd trade LATC (worthless) for LAT ( value), but not 1ETH for 150 worthless coins.

Trading something of known current worth (ETH) for something that has NO current worth (LATC) is not the best gameplan, so far as I know.  If you were to trade ETH for LAT tokens, that might go over better.

Don't fret.  I have the same thing at the bottom of my window and I'm fully sync'd and getting interest on my (Whoo-hooo!  I'm rich!) 60 LAT.  I had to close and restart my wallet several times before I got the full blockchain.  It's not a scam.  I'm more concerned about the fact I'm not seeing much progress with the pre-sale, at least according to the Latium.org site.  Not even to 1M LAT yet.  Is the counter not working or is interest in the LAT ICO really not there? :-(  

When the "Twitter Period" (5 LAT per tweet) is over, will the wallet still function?  Will you still earn interest on the LAT you hold?

Will you be able to earn interest on LAT (Ethereum), like you do with Classic LAT?  Will there be a new wallet for LAT (Ethereum)?  Will you be able to exchange LAT (Ethereum) for BTC or other crypto (on Enchanges) or is it locked in to just this proposed LAT eco-system?

When Ethereum switches to PoS, will LAT start earning interest, if not before then?
