Re: Don't send PMs begging for merits.
by

I was going to post this in the beginners section, but it seems to be the mid ranking members that do this. It is against the forum rules to beg for merit, and not all members are as lenient as I am. If I receive these begging PMs then I just put the member on ignore, so he won't get any merit from me, no matter how good his posting may be. I don't get very many, but I have had a couple recently, so I thought it was time to remind members about merit begging. I don't sell merit either, but it must be over a year since I have had a request to sell merit.

If you want me to award you with merit, apart from the standard awards, then persuade me to revive one of my old projects, so that members can earn merit ,and  be of benefit to the forum.

   The truth is this some would rather go through the easy way to achieve what they want, rather than working hard to achieve their goal. The Bitcointalk forum offers its users the right to work hard and earn merits, not by receiving it in a plata of gold, some users don't even know how to work hard while some don't even read the rules and regulations of this platform. Begging for merit is not a good idea, some people should learn how to earn merits, not beg. Merits should be earned by;
- creating relevant post to the forum,
- creating new ideas to help educate new and old
- members, adding wonderful contributions to help promote bitcoins and lots more
- and creating plagiarism-free posts

Good for them. But I'm not sure why we necessarily need to connect everything about Information Technology and Computer Science to "cryptocurrency investments". Especially noting that most "cryptocurrency investments" in general are a bad idea especially for the inexperienced trader/investor.

Simply because globalization is an off shoot of modernity. You don't want to have difficulties in global scheme and trade especially for allied nations, maybe that could be a reason. Because if we view countries recently adopting digital system, they are almost countries with trade affiliations. At least for now, we can relate the reason with that.

I'm not sure if this news will affect adoption or crypto investments in Nigeria at all. Enrolling in ICT courses does not really mean it will include crypto and blockchain also for the facts that it was not mentioned, but one thing I can say about this is that it's a good thing for the people there. They can learn and increase their knowledge about digital literacy and skills that will be helpful for them, knowing that we're continuously adapting to technology and the digital world.

  Speaking from my perspective, it wouldn't affect the adoption of cryto investment at all, rather it will encourage it, because presently cryto investment is the talk of the day for young scholars in the country.

Wouldn't verify.

I also would hate to have to set an age bar to keep people from signing up multiple accounts just to claim some merit from this thread.

Please, and very sorry for the inconvenience I caused you earlier, am new here so I made a mistake at the first one, but I have corrected it I hope it's not late.
