you guys came here to fud regarding $cake token? why is that, project is solid. DYOR

Agreed, my intention was not to FUD, I was scammed and concluded that the platform owners were involved in the scam.
It turned out to be wrong and the scammer was blocked meanwhile.

I certainly agree and the pancakeswap.finance platform is just amazing. I am daily compounding out substantial profits in a transparent and fast way that I've never seen in any other project before.

Cheers

Hi there.
...
If you have any questions you can always use our Telegram group or you can DM me directly at @s1merr on Telegram. (or even ask here, why not)

Thanks for your answer. I do need to say, that I completely changed my mind about pancakeswap.finance after conducting intensive research.

It turned out yesterday, that I was scammed in the pancake telegram group by a fraudulent scammer. This scammer sneaked into the group as fake admin and redirected users to a phishing site. The scammer was banned by telegram meanwhile.

This has nothing to do with the credibility of the pancakeswap.finance platform. Their forum users are friendly and the platform on the relatively new Binance Smart Chains works amazing thanks to the great work of the chefs and their close collaboration with BINANCE. I also love their ridiculously low txn fees on the BSC chain.

Big thumbs up for pancakeswap.finance.

Best,
M@arculix

I'm a volunteer community admin of PancakeSwap, and I want to assure you that the project has absolutely nothing to do with Tanvir or his people. The project has grew a lot since November, to the point of even having a partnership with Binance itself (https://www.binance.com/en/blog/421499824684901288/Binance-Launches-$240000-Reward-Pool-in-Collaboration-with-PancakeSwap--Stake-BNB-to-Earn-Free-Tokens).

Listen, I am a nerd and geek, acting as opensource developer since 25 years and deep into blockchain & cryptofinance.

I am certainly not interested to discredit the PancakeSwap platform.
However, I have worrying indications, that something is fishy there.
I just pulled-back a 5 digit figure amount of assets from that platform.

True, your link above indicates some sort of collaboration between Binance and Pancakeswap and it's not BINANCE's role, to play Private Investigator or Police. We also now from Binance, that Pancakeswap has never been audited: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/a-guide-to-pancakeswap

In other words, the government could not be blamed of bankrobbers using their state highways for their getaways.
So can BINANCE not be blamed to be the blochchain carrier of fraudulent ponzi scam tokens.

I propose to simply not bring BINANCE into play if you would like to raise trust and to reduce the complexity of the following question:

Is pancakeswap.finance a fraudulent ponzi scam?

Well, let's forget, that I was kicked out of the forum a few days ago after raising a critical question, these things happen and this is background noise. PancakeSwap is saying, they are all motivated and anonymous opensource developers. I certainly do not expect a corporate level like service. Let's also assume that PancakeSwap is not a fraudulent token and let's furthermore assume that you are a motivated PancakeSwap volunteer Admin as you stated.

How would you explain the following then:
I intended today to increase my stake massively. I was asking quickly in the official PancakeSwap telegram forum, why I was not able to deposit (stake) e.g. 5000 CAKE tokens in one go, I could only perform the deposits in many smaller junks. I just wanted to understand, whether there is an upload limit and how I could get rid of it.
A friendly PancakeSwap Admin (was it you?) was opening a private chat with me and proposed, that I need to "validate" my Metamask wallet using the website walletsconnect.online in order to remove the upload limit? This particular website asks for mnemonic seeds or private keys (!) which is clearly unacceptable and a very obvious a phishing scam page that is also listed on the radar of established security scanners: https://jamesbrine.com.au/phishingdomains-2021-01-12/

Why has PancakeSwap Support redirected me to a fraudulent scammer phising page today?

In your response, do not try to challenge my question or the given facts above as I have made screenshots that I could swiftly post here showing the conversation including UTC timestamp. Try to answer, why you or your PancakeSwap Admin team were instructed to direct a PancakeSwap user to the scammer site walletsconnect.online for the validation of a private wallet?

Best,

I never said that the pancakeswap is one of his project. As I haven't checked & followed pancakeswap that well, I am unable to make any comment on its legibility. I only know so far that pancake was his project. Looking for swap kind of project, he has made cheeseswapbsc in binance chain and right now, advertising that in twitter. He has grabbed money from a lot of people and I had myself invested around 200-250eth in his old projects as well as loaned him eth with 10% interest rates for every 15 days on his own terms. I haven't received my money yet & this has been the reason for me to keep following him and knowing what he is doing. He may have developed many projects that even I don't know.

Thanks for your insight. I've been kick/banned (thrown out) of the https://pancakeswap.finance/ telegram group today after I did a follow-up to a post of another user that raised a critical question. This is a clear indication of that thing might be truly fishy.

These all projects mentioned above are developed by this developer named TANVIR RAHMAN (TR) from Bangladesh and his helping partner JAI Reddy from India. These are the defi projects that I know are developed by them starting from May 2020 one after another. There may be other projects as well they may have done together to scam as they change their names continuously. At present, their new project is cheese farm.

Thanks for sharing. I like to read critical comments that help to further understand the mechanics behind specific DeFi projects.

I currently try to further understand the economics behind pancakeswap.finance which you also listed as a potential scam project. However, harvesting pooled yields worked always fine for me so far.

What I find contradicting to the position that pancake is a scam is the fact, that BINANCE published a pancake academy page under https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/a-guide-to-pancakeswap. However, they also highlighted, that PancakeSwap has not been audited to date, so it clearly comes with high risks, that's for sure.

At the moment, I not tend to claim with confidence, that pancakeswap.finance is a fraud as harvesting pooled yields seems to work so far.

Any thoughts?

Best,
Marc
