@bathrobehero: Wow, this looks very nice. Thank you!
I hope Christian can add the Links to your sheet in the Startpost.

I will add my GTX 580 soon. Smiley

Is there anyway to reduce the heat on a GTX580?
Like Christian already said: use cudaminer 2013-12-10 release.

I use a Gainward GTX 580 Phantom and with the latest release i reach 80+ °C.
But when i use cudaminer 2013-12-10 i can set the fan to auto-mode and it stays at 62% Fan @ 72 °C

CudaMiner.exe -i 0 -H 1 -C 1 -l F16x16 @ 307 kh/s

What hashrate do you get?

My mining pool went down while I was mining with CudaMiner.
It was down for 17 Minutes and then came back online.

Just want to say, that CudaMiner did a great job and it started to mine again as soon as the pool was back online.
Well done. Timeouts are working great and it did start without any high delay or problems.

compare with 2013-12-10 release for reference..
I downloaded  2013-12-10  release, but the speed is exactly the same.
(maybe +1 khash/s, but mostly the same ^^)

Any other old releases i should try?

Edit: okay, seems like +3 and sometimes +5 khash/s more with '2013-12-10'
It also seems like it is getting faster Cheesy

Edit 2: temp is down to 68 °C (from 74 °C) with  '2013-12-10'. Nice.
I am gonna stay with that version for now.

I have done some undervolting and overclocking to see what happens with temp and hashrate.

core i7 920 @ 3.0 GHz, 6 GB RAM @ 1600 MHz
GTX 580, 3 GB 384 bit, Core: 844, Mem: 2055, Shader: 1688
-i 0 -H 1 -C 1 -l F16x16
307.11 khash/s | 74 °C

Would it be helpfull if I try to compile CudaMiner myself for Fermi Kernel?

My GPU Cock is 925MHz Fan speed 78% and GPU Temperature is 68ºC  (air temp is about 24ºC) and I am using MSi afterburner for controlling it.
How the hell did you manage to overclock your card to 925 MHz? (Your default clock should be 782 MHz, right?)
Are you sure that this is stable and won't damage your card in the long run?

About temperatures: I have the HAF 932 Tower Case from Coolermaster, which is fitted with 3 big fans and 2 small fans.
Cool Air is getting sucked in and hot air will get out - so there is a good airflow already.
One of the big fans is right next to the GPU and blasting cool air in. No need for a extern fan. Smiley

@ trell0z: Okay, i will try it. But i think F16x16 is already the best option. I used autotune to get that value.

Did anyone of you guys try to change some driver settings?
I still want to know if there is an option to improve the performance for the mining task.

Thank you very much for this great tool. It is amazing and works almost perfect. Good job!
I am new to Mining and I am using it for DogeCoin Mining right now.

My system:
CPU Intel Core i7 920 @ 3,0 GHz
RAM 6GB OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600 MHz)
GPU Gainward GeForce GTX 580 Phantom
GPU VRAM 3072 MB
VRAM Type GDDR5
GPU Clock 783 MHz
Memory Clock 2010 MHz
Shader Clock 1566 MHz
Shaders 512
GPU Idle Temp 37 °C
GPU Gaming Temp 56 °C
GPU CudaMiner Temp 74 °C (Fan speed 100%)
driver 331.82

My best settings for CudaMiner are:
cudaminer.exe -i 0 -H 1 -C 2 -l F16x16  @ 282 khash/s

The only problem I got so far, is that '-i 1' causes the display driver to crash after 10 to 15 minutes.
I don't move the mouse and do not use the computer at all, but it still crashes.
If I use '-i 0' it works just fine and 5 hours or more is not a problem.

I also have a question:
Is it possible to tweak the display driver settings in order to improve the khash/s a little bit?
I use 'nVidia Inspector 1.9.7.2' and I could change nearly everything which is stored in the driver.
So are there any values I could try to change, which could boost the speed?

Thanks for creating CudaMiner, it is very interesting for me (I am still new to mining) and I want
to learn more about the whole process and the Crypto-Coins. =)

I guess I am gonna try to undervolt my GPU aswell.
Will be interesting to see what I can do with undervolting. Smiley

Is your pc case open?
I have the Coolermaster HAF 932 Tower with 3x big Fans and 2x medium fans.
GPU Idle Temp is 37 °C
GPU Gaming Temp is about 50 to 60 °C

First Time I ever got 80 °C is with cudaMiner. Smiley
But I will change the fan speed myself from now on.

I am very new to Mining Coins and want to say hello to the community. "hello, guys!" Smiley

I want to give some feedback on 'cudaMiner', but I can't post in that section yet.
So I guess I will just share my experience here, until I can give feedback in the thread.

I have used 'cudaminer-2013-12-18' on my desktop pc with Gainward GeForce GTX 580 Phantom (3 GB VRAM)
The output was 281 khash/s and GPU Temp was stable at 81 °C and 71% Fan speed
(I guess i could adjust the Fan speed manually instead of using the auto-mode...)

My settings are:
cudaminer.exe -H 1 -C 2 -l F16x16

First run with autotune got me to F32x8, but after changing the '-H' and '-C' settings, autotune got F16x16.
First run got 223 khash/s with intial settings.

The only Problem I have right now, is the '-i' setting, because '-i 1' will make the driver crash after 10-15 mins;
I tried it with '-i 0' and it did work just fine for 2,5 hours. Smiley
But that is strange (in my opinion), because '-i 0' ist the 'maximum' power setting and i get higher khash/s with it.

I still have to learn more about dogecoins and mining, but it is interesting so far.
I am not aiming for high profit (just hoping ^^), because I know I can't do much with my single GPU and 281 khash/s. Cheesy

Okay... I hope I can give some feedback in the cudaMiner Thread later. (4 hours and 1 post, right?)

See ya. Smiley
