Most coins/project depends on Bitcoin and Ethereum.
When these two prices drop, it affects other crypto coins as well

As much as it is  true, that is the sad part of it.
It happens not only to ETH but to most ICO tokens.
That is the whole point of scamming, which also leads o dump coins.
These people do not intend to drop the price, but their sole purpose is to make money faster and leave no trace

BTC is not doing so well lately.

Bitcoin has been there for a longer time, thus earned the strong trust.
Ethereum is more on tech side, with lower risk profit potential
