In my experience, it only grows, never slows, never stops.

Re: I found my old wallets and .dat files......

its been years since i have done it personally, maybe it was 2014-2015

but from /r/dogecoin

https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1x6xvp/how_do_i_find_my_private_key/

---

click on 'help' in the menu bar (top right)

click on 'debug window'

select the 'console' tab

*type: walletpassphrase "your walletpassphrase here"

type: dumpprivkey [your public key here]

this will return the private key, you can copy it now; ensure you clear your clipboard/history afterwards

*type: walletlock

* ignore these steps if your wallet isn't encrypted.

been awhile since i have done this, but if you are looking for a faster way you can use a lite wallet. like multidoge or wowdoge

http://multidoge.org/
http://www.wowdoge.org/

in the dogecoin QT client, if you go to the console tab and use the "dumpprivkey" option you can get your private key, import it into a lite wallet and get those coins NOW instead of waiting for blockchain sync, possibly days.

The wallet doesn't have to be synced to get the private keys out of it.

seems -tstop with negative number DOES NOT close the miner instantly, be warned everyone.

Last night had a rx470 GPU fan error and fan speed drop significantly(Just like Claymore 9.6) and even tho i had "-tstop -80" in the config, it just errored while temperatures rose.

04:57:41:948   ab4   GPU #1 reached CLOSE temperature (81 >= 80)
04:57:41:949   ab4   Miner will be closed
04:57:45:985   ab4   GPU #1 reached CLOSE temperature (82 >= 80).
04:57:45:986   ab4   Miner will be closed
04:57:55:067   ab4   GPU #1 reached CLOSE temperature (85 >= 80).
04:57:55:068   ab4   Miner will be closed
04:57:58:095   ab4   GPU #1 reached CLOSE temperature (86 >= 80).
04:57:58:096   ab4   Miner will be closed
04:58:00:115   ab4   GPU #1 reached CLOSE temperature (87 >= 80).
04:58:00:116   ab4   Miner will be closed
~
05:36:08:150   ab4   GPU #1 reached CLOSE temperature (89 >= 80).
05:36:08:151   ab4   Miner will be closed

it took it 39 mins to close .. when i thought negative values where supposed to close miner instantly ?!?!

"You can also specify negative value to close miner immediately instead of stopping GPU, for example, "-tstop -95" will close miner as soon as any GPU reach 95C temperature."

but -tstop -80 did not save me, or my card......

I too had fan issues yesterday with rx470s

luckily they went to 100%. fixed with a reboot. speedfan wasn't able to actually change fan speeds until after reboot.

Re: What's a few good altcoins to mine?
by
MCWey8
on 20/12/2016, 08:04:17 UTC
oh the question we are all asking ourselves all the time ...

Find out what the hardware you currently have can do, hashrate wise different algos, be it CPU or GPU.

then stick those numbers into a online calculator like whattomine.com.

then you mine the one that is most profitable.

a simple way is nicehash.com ... they have a simple windows application that will benchmark your stuff and start mining whatever is most profitable, paying out in Bitcoin when you reach a certain threshold.

or ... use any/all of the separate miner applications for the different algorithms .. search for "Eth Miner" "Zec Miner" "XMR Miner" (ETH,ZEC,XMR) being some of the most popular coins to mine currently.

and then you hold the coins hoping for price increase or trade directly to bitcoin, whatever you're feeling.

Why did i type all this .. pure boredom.

999 has been accused many times, more than many other dice sites ..

Not much proof of anything, could be just bad luck... but

I would avoid them.

There are lots of dice sites, i would look for a more reputable one Smiley

IT pro, homelabber  ..  like having networked hardware, servers, switches, kinda a natural progression to mining.
