Re: No future for bitcoin
by

Guys, I think in future bitcoin will fell down and Instead of old blockchain technologies will come new and more large-scale projects. Bitcoin It is just the beginning.
I doubt it will. The starting year always brings the price down by 50%. Trends from the past three years suggest so. It will go back up in the future. For many investors it is a good sign as they buy low and sell high.

Re: What if Bitcoin just hold steady for months and months
by
MRN94

Bitcoin isn't moving very much just now.  Up a tiny bit and then down a tiny bit.  Would this be very boring for people.  This might not encourage more people to buy.  I think the only way people buy is if it's going up and down more.  Because then at least they will have half a chance of making a good profit.
Granted bitcoin isn't moving as much as it used to but for investors it is a good thing. Most people buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high. trends from the past three years show that at the start of the year, bitcoin doesn't move that much. It usually stays along a fixed line. But as the year progresses, it starts to hit new highs. For investors making long term investments, a low price is good news. But for people expecting to make short term profits, they might just have to wait for bitcoin to go up and then continue from there.

Should I invest in Bitcoin?
Well if you think you can profit from it then sure. If you look at its value today its around $14,000. But it is bound to go up in the future so you can definitely benefit from it. Invest now, keep it for some time. Sell when the price goes higher than when you bought it. Now is also a good time to invest because the market is down. You can sell when the market experiences a rise.

Re: What's happening to XRP and TRX now?
by

I do have some XRP and TRX and I'm a little bit scared because lately its going down. Any reason why its happening? Do you have any other suggestions on where should i invest my money into? What particular altcoin would that be.. Thanks in advance!
XRP is the second largest crypto based on market cap. You can call it bitcoin's competitor. The reason it is falling because the whole market is seeing a dip in prices right now. Bitcoin increased to $16000 last week but now it is down again. And since the whole market is down, XRP and TRX are experiencing a dip as well. But it will go up in the future. Keep XRP, but change TRX to Ethereum. It is a better alternative. TRX is still struggling and there's no guarantee it will attain a sizable market cap.

Siacoin will be a successful coin. I predict big things coming 2018/2019

Get in while you still can and HODL!

Good luck and always make smart investments.
Highly speculative. It dropped 13.87% today. But so did bitcoin and other altcoins a little bit. So the future looks uncertain. But then again since its the crypto world, it's always in flux. Hope it goes up again. 2018 and 2019 maybe the year of ripple or ethereum. Siacoin still has a long way to go before it attains a good value.

Re: Bitcoin expectation $25000+
by

Even in the event that the market goes down, Bitcoin remains a safer option than other cryptocurrencies. For the record, this means I am NOT selling Bitcoin at $17k anymore. In the event of a continued cryptocurrency bull run, Bitcoin is well positioned against other cryptocurrencies and could easily see $20k+ soon. What are your thoughts?
Well you're right to some extent. Bitcoin is well positioned considering the market cap it has acquired and the value it has attained during the past year. But if the market goes down, there is a high probability that the price of bitcoin goes down as well. But since more and more people are investing in bitcoin, this seems highly unlikely. During the previous year it did hit the $20,000 mark. This year it is expected to go beyond that mark, considering it does not run into issues like the end of last year which pushed it down to as low as $12,000.

Re: In 2018 BTC will hit 1 trillion ?

Total crypto marketcap is about to hit 1 trillion 2018 is going to be a big year !
What do you think ?
Its good that it is making progress. But it is still speculative to say that it will go big in 2018. Especially with all the altcoins making waves. But considering the amount of market cap and the value bitcoin has held during the past week, it just might cross the $20,000 mark by the end of this year. Good time to invest though. One can expect a considerable return if they invest now.

Re: $2000 to invest - Your Voice

Hi guys,

I do appreciate that a lot of you out there take a lot of time and invest into different cryptocurrencies after researching and also obviously taking other strong experienced users opinions.

I've current invested largely in the following coins:

XRP
SC - Siacoin
Strat
Etherium
Bitcoin

I have $2000 extra from my pay-cheque this month and was hoping to put it on some cryptocurrencies.

Could you please give me your opinion on which coins you feel would be worth covering in 2018 and why. I would greatly appreciate all opinions and comments.

Thank you

Kind regards,
-D
Best if you invest in Ripple and Ethereum. As of now, ripple is trading at $2.84, and is increasing everyday. Etheurem has also seen a rise and is trading at $889. Last week it was around $750. So the best cryptocurrencies to invest in would be Ripple and Ethereum. Diversify when investing. Make sure not to put all your money into one cryptocurrency. Once you've invested in XRP and ETH, save some and invest in bitcoin as well.

Re: Does Bitcoin stable ?
by
MRN94
on 02/01/2018, 19:36:46 UTC
Recently  Bitcoin got very high fluctuations. It went up 19,000USD(nearly) and dip to 12,500USD. In this situation does BTC stable ?

What are reason for that kind fluctuations ?
How long it will take reach 19,000 USD with this kind of market fluctuations ?

Well, honestly speaking, bitcoin is not stable. It is the most volatile currency on the planet. Its obvious because it is a crypto currency and is not centralized. The fluctuation alone prove that fact. But this does not mean that all hope is lost. It will definitely go up.
The reason for fluctuations is because previously they were switching to segwit2x, so it went down a couple of notches. Now it is rumored that they might be merging BTC with BCH (Bitcoin Cash). Again, just a rumor. Not confirmed!
So with these kind of rumors circling around, people tend to secure their investments and cash out, bringing its value down. But it also makes some people interested and allows them to invest in it too, since the price has been pushed down. And this forces the value to go back up. So to reiterate, the value will go up in the future.

Re: Which Coin Will be The Coin Of the Year 2018
by
MRN94
on 01/01/2018, 13:29:29 UTC
Hello Guys.

2017 coin like eth moon so high and become the coin of the year.

So Guys which coin will be coin of the year for 2018?
There have been speculations that Ethereum will become the coin of the year in 2018 but this seems far fetched. Bitcoin is still strong and sustaining. Sure Ethereum might come close to where bitcoin is right now but it still has a long way to go to become coin of the year. Moreover, there are still countries that are struggling with accepting crypto currencies. So when the time comes that they do, bitcoin will most likely be their first choice. Either that or they'll create their own crypto. Not saying there's no future for Ethereum. It'll still be in the game but won't be as strong as bitcoin.

Re: I want to invest
by
MRN94
on 25/12/2017, 12:07:32 UTC
I want to put some money into BTC, just in case, I also wouldn't mind learning to profit off trading them weekly or on a daily basis, I see potential. It looks alot more easier than forex and quicker than stocks.

Where do I start?

P.S - How is BTC expected to be the future if it so volatile, you will always have to worry about how much your paying ETC.
Investing in BTC would be a wise move. As you said, it is easier and quicker than forex and stocks. But you have to be quick and careful when buying and selling. If you see that the price is going up, you sell immediately. Since it is a volatile currency, it cannot be expected to attain stability. Once you see that the price is going down, you invest more. In the future BTC is expected to go big. Bigger than it is now. Just keep a look out for the ups and downs in the market.

Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto

I have opportunity in overseas job around 1000 usd. but my mind now not in a stable manner.

please guide me whats the best option doing crypto currency on the home or move to the job overseas?
How about going for both? Think about it, if you move overseas you would have a nice job where you'd be earning a good 1K. On top of that you'd also be working on crypto during your free hours, doubling your earnings. Investing in bitcoin would definitely give you a greater return. So, i suggest you go for both.

Re: Why people sell bitcoins?
by
MRN94
on 20/12/2017, 14:56:19 UTC
Worldwide, especially in my place, must sell it for profit rather than always keep it!
The government always forbids the use and play bitcoin so that it can not grow fully potential in my place. Surely it remains an advantage if there is a transaction rotation for bitcoin in my country to live.
Bitcoin has been known to give high rewards. People usually do so to make a profit. Notice that people will always sell when the price is high, and buy bitcoin when the price is low. This allows them to receive a considerable return. With such a volatile currency, the more risk you take the higher your return will be.

Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin?

what makes bitcoin appealing, in other words: what is the "breaking the ice" part about bitcoin that you can tell a newbie in a sentence or two, too pull them into this crypto journey BTC @millzp0
Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency - a digital currency! The most interesting thing about bitcoin is its value. It's price increases everyday. Currently it is trading at $16000 per bitcoin. Investing in bitcoin would definitely reap a considerable profit. Furthermore, bitcoin can be used to buy items online from stores that accept payment in bitcoin. Services can also be performed in exchange for bitcoin.

Hey guys. Finally decided to get me some coins. I have about 10k to spare. any recommendations?
With 10K, the best strategy would be to diversify. Invest a little in Bitcoin, Ethereum and some other cryptocurrency.
It's not too late to join the party. Thinking it's too late to invest in cryptocurrency is like saying it's to late to buy a car... Everyone's driving one. Everyone's investing in it. So it's never too late.

Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin?
by
MRN94
on 11/12/2017, 16:30:11 UTC
Should I invest in bitcoin? Yes. Bitcoin as time goes by, continue to increase its demand. More and more people discover bitcoin. Infrastructures around bitcoin continue to increase too. More and more altcoins and companies uses bitcoin for payments for the promotion of their campaign. Should I wait? Yes. In order to get your maximum desired profit, you have to wait/monitor btc value from time to time. The fluctuation of value helps you buy bitcoin in a cheaper price.

No, you must invest more in altcoin, bitcoin unstable and can happen crash any time.

Neo is better  Cool Cool

Investing in bitcoin is much profitable as it is because of bitcoin that other cryptos are in business. Bitcoin was the first crypto currency to hit the market. It has since made a sizable growth and has guaranteed high returns. Even now it is $16,434 per bitcoin. I suggest the best time to invest is when the price drops a little bit... Invest then. And sell as soon as it goes back up...

I took a glance at MatrixCoin's future plans at their site. The way they are implementing things step by step is commendable.
I also saw some people here asking about making team members public. I think it would be taking a step in the wrong direction if the creators of matrix coin decide to make their members public. Its better if they operate the way they are right now.

Re: which is better? trading crypto or trading stocks?
by

on 18/11/2017, 05:18:54 UTC
Trading crypto is more profitable. Granted, its risky but high risk guarantees high reward. Stocks take time to grow and you'd have to wait a long period to earn your reward. Cryptocurrencies give a high return within months!
