Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret
by
MS.LAWLIET
on 28/03/2024, 15:27:02 UTC
If we see the history of Bitcoin, then it's pretty easy to see how Bitcoin recovered its price. It would take time to recover, but eventually it did. So at the end of the day, holders don't need to be regretful. I am talking about Bitcoin, not about any other altcoin. Because even though the Bitcoin price has recovered, many altcoins haven't recovered yet. Even those who bought Bitcoin at the top in the last bull run, I believe they are almost recovered. If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.

Surely Bitcoin is one of the most trusted coins cause the price recovers but one must wait for the right time to ensure that they will make a profit out of it. Some waited for years so one must invest only what amount they can afford to be stagnant for a while. Again cryptocurrency is volatile so there will always be a risk but bitcoin proven itself for years. Holders that wait for years truly won't regret investing.

Power is Power,
Money is also Power.

So, if you're too choose one, what you down for ?
Power or Money ?

Power and Money comes together because Money brings power so as power brings money, but if I were to choose which one comes first it will always be money because money gives you opportunities and those opportunities will open doors for power whether it is in life or  society. money will equipped you to become powerful.

It is indeed true, in a way that we go towards digital age as this pandemic made us stay at home as a part of securing our health. We rely doing and buying most of our things online and some did online businesses as a form of income. Everything is almost done online. There's also a huge difference when it comes to people who are using digital currency, it is way larger now.

Re: why the state does not print a lot of money?
by
MS.LAWLIET

why the state does not print a lot of money? than debt to other countries. is not it easier to make money than debt and ultimately burdens the state?

whether if printing money will have an impact on the money itself? or will it impact the value of the money in the eyes of the world?

When a country print a lot of money, it will decrease it's value or even lose it. It happens once in the philippines before a sack of money cost very little. And i think that's one of the reasons.

Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee
by

We all have that thought why do Chinese people actually make it in the business world. The reason apparently is that at an early age, their parents are conditioning the minds of their children to do business in the hopes that they will actually be heirs to their family business.
In your opinion, should we be teaching them the same or teaching them to be successful employees for the sake of climbing up the economic ladder?

I think teaching a child to be businessminded is better because in that case the child can do more he won't limit his capabilities and he will do his best just to achieve something and make it to top. It will be a great motivation for every children which will drive them to work hard and aim for more.

Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things?
by
MS.LAWLIET
on 10/05/2018, 23:41:51 UTC
I dont know if it is just me or others also experience it. I always set goals financially, set limits in spending and trying hard to save but most of the time no matter how i tell myself to refrain from spending in unnecessary things whenever i see something i really like even if i dont need it i cant resist buying it that cause me to regret later. Are you familiar with this situation?

I keep myself from spending by listing things i need to buy when i'm going outside to buy things. I also save small percent of my money specifically for my leissure time which is usually foods and shoes. You have to manage your money as well as your time.

Mankind can product the energy not only from oil. There are wind energy, sun energy. Soon people will switch to this types of energy product.

I agree with that. There are various ways of producing energy. Bitcoin can connect people from different parts of the world which makes transaction easier. Transaction can be done everywhere and everytime. Bitcoin helps with the prevention of poverty which will helps rather than destroy world. Energy sources must be nature friendly which will prevent the concern of world distruction.

Take time to learn about bitcoin and it won't seem complicate for you even if you are an ordinary folk. It takes time to learn about new things

If there is a way there is a will, even though bitcoin seems a little bit complicated some people can learn it through exploring it. Telling then how ,as a first hand users, they can understand it better than letting them read it.

For bitcoin wallet holders who have forgotten their passwords, all may not be as bad as it seems.

Something that has a value cannot be forgotten easily, if your wallet have a large amount of btc then there is no way you can just be careless in saving your private keys but if you really lost your private key then you are the one to be blamed, I don't think you can open your wallet. always be sure in securing your private keys.

Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin?
by
MS.LAWLIET
on 10/05/2018, 11:41:42 UTC
Government bans bitcoin because it is a big threat for their financial security. government controls the money flow in their country (interest rate etc..). bitcoin is different, no one controls bitcoin no government or group of people. it is purely decentralized.

Government bans bitcoin because it is decentralized, direct tax cannot be implied and also it gives privacy to the users which makes the transaction private which can be used in illegal things and to avoid that government bans bitcoin.

Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN?
by
MS.LAWLIET
on 27/04/2018, 04:15:27 UTC
Be ready and aware that 2018 is the year of regulatory reckoning. Countries around the world are trying to determine how they are going to treat cryptocurrencies. Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) has halted several ICOs and hinted at the need for greater crypto regulation.

I am into cryptocurrency because of freedom, I can't deny to myself that I have worries regarding this issue. And as an investor, I really have no choice but to stay with crypto once the governments around the world have control to cryptocurrencies (if that became possible).

So as much as we can, also invest with physical properties with what you've earned. For we don't know what will happen next with our money in the digital world.

This is not an advice. It's simply a shared idea.

How about you? What do you have in mind? Undecided

in my opinion government cant win over bitcoin, maybe they can add taxes on the process of converting bitcoins to fiat but they cannot totally banned bitcoin, if ever the government banned bitcoin i will still earn bitcoin and spend it in countries where bitcoin is legal.

Europe, Japan, Canada, Isreal, Korea, US, Singapore are some major countries where bitcoin has legal status. There are many other countries like India, Rusia those are preparing a draft for bitcoin legalization.

in the philippines you can exchange bitcoin into fiat though there are transaction fees in banks. you can also pay electric bills through bitcoin and buy load using it but that is all i know where we can use bitcoin here in our country... and sooner i do hope that they will legalized and accept bitcoin as a payment in stores

Re: The lack of financial education
by
MS.LAWLIET
on 20/04/2018, 13:55:43 UTC
The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?

the mere giving of allowance to a child for a day maybe even for a week or months is a way of teaching him financial education. he will learn how to manage his money and the risk of spending all his money at the first day of giving it will teach him a lesson how to budget things and only to buy what is necessary.    the government can help it's people having knowledge about bitcoin by having a seminar or activities that will teach them something about how cryptocurrency works.

Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?

i think if they are knowledgeable about investing money then it is a good thing because if they know what are they doing then they know what actions to take when there is a fall or conflicts. investing in bitcoin can make a people earn profit big time it was proven to us by some investors in bitcoin but it is also can be at a disadvantage if we invest without thinking what are we investing so it is important to know when and what to invest.

Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ?
by
MS.LAWLIET
on 19/04/2018, 14:21:15 UTC
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.

it is possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value only when no one will ever use it but we can't say that it will be possible in a few period of time because as of today many people are now using bitcoin, many companies are now starting to engaged in bitcoin and accept it as a source of payment as of today we can also buy things and service using bitcoin.

Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money?

bitcoin as of now won't be able to replace conventional money because not all people are engaged in cryptocurrencies and there are still places where internet is not that good like for examples are in the mountains and some people are not yet computer literate and don't have the gadgets to use like in poor countries..

Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines?
by
MS.LAWLIET

Over 900 Million  pesos worth of bitcoins been scammed.

Filipino couple amasses at least P900M in alleged Bitcoin scam.
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Police have nabbed a couple promising easy wealth through popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa announced on Tuesday, April 10.
Arnel and Leonady Ordonio were nabbed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives – the police division in charge of high-stakes and high-profile crimes – in Vigan City last April 4 through an entrapment operation.

The scam, Obusan said, is structured like a pyramid scheme but with electronic money.

The Ordonios apparently had middlemen who lured people to invest. They promised to pay victims with their earnings every 15 days.

Fueled by the worldwide Bitcoin hype, more and more people were baited by the Ordonio couple's promises.

The complaints started piling in when investors lost contact with the Ordonios.
Whats happened  next?
Around 50 angry victims stormed to Camp Crame on Tuesday, asking the couple if they could still get back the money they had hoped would grow.

Will bitcoin be banned because of that?

there is a probability for bitcoin to be banned in the philippines because of the high amount of money that has been scammed but I hope not. this teach us a lesson  not to invest easily if the source is unreliable. the bitcoin users in the philippines will decrease as well as investors because of this incident. but the truth it is not bitcoins fault if somebody was scammed the president should consider the advantage of the right usage of bitcoin in the philippines rather than banning it just for those scammers.

bitcoin is already counting years and i think as long as you are careful with your wallets then your account is secure. never tell someone your private key or place where it can be easily noticed. use wallet that are commonly used by most of the users like myetherwallet. the security of your bitcoin depends on you

That's true, fake news are all over, that's why we are experiencing low amount of bitcoin today because of thay fake news making people to make their panic selling which is not helping bitcoin and for most of us. I think bitcoin needs more strategies again so that most investors will come back.

as of now that the bitcoin has low value lots of news are spreading like bitcoin will be dead and so on and because of that i agree that most of bitcoin holders are panicking as well as some investors because they are losing their investment. i am also holding a little coins but i will not sell it unless bitcoin rise again. i know that bitcoin is already in most of the country around the world and has a little probability of falling. so i will hold it till then
