Re: Roger Ver's Bitcoin.com forum is up

Besides Ver, who else are the people behind it?  Andresen and Hearn?

Unlikely.

He's doing a good thing IMO, it's true that XT was arguably censored (although it's slightly academic; whether it is/isn't/would've-been-in-the-future an altcoin is a whole debate in it's own right).

I'll be checking forum.bitcoin.com out I think, although probably not joining up right now.

I think people just cry censorship when something doesn't go their way. I mean this guy's forum might not "censor" (or move) XT discussion into another section but I bet he will gladly censor in other ways. Can I call him a twat on there? Can I post his personal details or call him a scammer? Will he censor trolls and scammers or just let them troll and scam away? Creating and running a forum is never easy as it seems and many people will complain whether you do something or you don't.

Re: Bitcoin does not work.

Bitcoin does not work because people do not trust to buy things with bitcoin. I have a site running now for 5 months selling precious metals, made plenty of sales with credit card, bank transfer, no problems but not a single bitcoin purchase!

What is the point in bitcoin again?

Bitcoin works fine. Just because nobody is paying you via bitcoins isn't a problem with BTC. Maybe you're not promoting your site enough. How many people are using paypal on your site? Do you accept it? I'm guessing not since its so easy to do a chargeback but just because you don't trust it doesn't mean Paypal is broke.

Re: In your own words: What is the purpose of Bitcoin?

The main purpose of bitcoin to me is to be the first decentralized currency operating independent of any central authority. I love that you can't be censored by payment processors/banks/governments refusing to cater or work with certain organizations they don't like or have been told not to work with. I also like how the government or banks cannot take your money without permission and you are in charge of your own money.

Mine is simple I have none at the time so therefore I'm called Nobitcoin and still have none now.

You're a Hero member on a signature campaign... how do you not have any bitcoin? You had over 5btc according to the address in your profile so what do you keep spending it on?

Re: Barclays Premier League Predictions - Week 7 - Parlay of 16.52 Odds
by

As others have said offering a ten-fold accumulator is ridiculous. Study the games and offer a decent 3 or 5 fold where you can win decent money. Maybe trim your current selections down to the few best ones because the odds of winning any sort of tenfold even betting on ten world class teams will probably include an upset so not worth doing.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City Manchester City
Leicester City vs Arsenal Arsenal
Liverpool vs Aston Villa Liverpool to win
I think Arsenal and Liverpool both will do their best to be on winning track again. So that is the reason I included them in my small parlay for today.

I wouldn't really bet on any of these results. Sure they're all odds on favorites but Liverpool and Arsenal aren't on form and could see upsets here or draws. Spurs have got off to a bad start but could see them holding off City though I think City will pull through.

Manchester should defeat Sunderland comfortably and I think West Ham will beat Norwich though so maybe include them.

Do you guys really think BPB is QS? And BPB is doing a long con? Do you know how much amount he will have to scam to at least get ROI? Undecided

Probably not but if they do they're nothing but trolls or idiots. Half of them are claiming QS was scamming people or was going to but BPB has given away tens of bitcoins so I'm not sure when or where this scam is or was going to be.

The most important lesson to learn from people having their dox released is to protect your identity and info sufficiently. Having it posted on a forum is the least of your worries. IF some randomer on a bitcoin forum can find it then so can criminals and do much worse with it so you should make sure as much info about you is known as possible and minimize the possibility of any of it being leaked. Even if this forum does remove doxs its not going to stop them repeatedly posting it or posting it elsewhere so removing it is largely pointless any way.

It's been over a month now.  Do any of you out there feel the situation with regards to buy and hold has changed at all. Have the risks increased or decreased.

A month is nothing. If people are looking to make a quick profit off bitcoin then that ship sailed long ago and you're waisting your time. The only way you're going to profit now is from the long game. Buy coins and hold for years not months. If bitcoin is going to go mainstream it isn't going to do it over night and I suspect for any decent gains we'll be waiting 2-5 years maybe more.

by

on 19/09/2015, 11:55:34 UTC
Yes he should, I start to think that he is only getting lucky and now his luck is empty. If he is a good tipster then he will have no problem to get the ROI higher . This is why he prefer to sell his lucky tips and not use them forhimself to bet because he know that it is just a lucky bet and not that he is good tipster

Are you being serious? All gambling is luck and based on chance. He's a tipster offering tips not guaranteed wins. He does his research and posts his predictions, people don't have to follow them and if they do blindly then they're idiots who are just lazy and greedy looking to try make money. People should just be their own tipsters and do their own research but if they want to listen to others then they can. Did you bet money and lose or something?

Well, this just got pretty weird. I knew TF since CoinChat and he was really good, nice back then. I know that glados.cc belongs to him as I forgot my CoinChat password once and TF gave me this email address to send a mail to him and reset it later on.

Well, I feel bad...

The person that owns the tradef account now could be a different person to the person who committed the scams. In fact it could have changed hands several times as has been aledged. It is weird that he got involved in this and seemingly sent quickseller coins but he's probably just trolling and enjoying the drama and confusion.

Does mine need an explanation? My favorite football team.

Read my username:
I wanted to be, read my username again Tongue

Why would you want to be the next somebody and not just build your on name on merit?
Shocked you too make credit to your favorite football team, that too sombody's team not your's. Same as me.

No it isn't. Your logic doesn't make any sense at all. I'm not saying I want to be the next MUFC or Alex Ferguson or Wayne Rooney. And besides I was questioning your motive of wanting to be the next somebody and not the first you, but keep dreaming.

Vod, where are you getting this info from? Reason I ask is because from my few  trades with QS, I have completely different info. You might want to double or triple check if you haven't already unless you don't mind doing the same thing that was done to you (talking about the false pedo accusations).

I'd also like to know this. You should be very careful because if you have got the wrong person that could lead to a whole other can of worms being opened not to mention completely unfair to the innocent party. I haven't really seen any info presented on how he got this cody black guy unless vod has been fed some information (which could be ebntierly innacurate).
