I don't support your claim. The anonymous description is about the transaction aspect of bitcoin. You do transfer bitcoin to wallet that you sure knows not the owner of the wallet. I think that is how the anonymous nature is applicable in this sense. I think it is completely anonymous.

Its just a matter of time. I think they have to decide whether to implement payment in bitcoin or not. I think currently bitcoin is accepted by some websites as a means of payment. Others are also making analysis of the market for safety if they are to implement such a policy. It may take time tho.

The exchanges creates a simple avenue for the value that we have given to these digital currencies to be traded for either a different currency of fiat. Some are centralized exchange platforms although blockchain was designed to take a decentralized form. Others are also decentralized. The centralized platforms are more helpful compared to the decentralized exchange platforms.

Digital money has made things easier for me now on the online trading and shopping markets. Imagine living in a country where you have no means of payment online, and paypal isn't working. I remember before geting to know of bitcoin I registered on a freelancer website to at least take up some jobs to earn something small for my pocket. Unfortunately, paypal was the only means I could get payed, but hmmm. I think digital currencies will make a great difference.

Despite the risk involve in the investment into cryptocurrency, it has proven to be the best best when it comes to maximum returns. I would rather invest much into cryprocurrencies, hodl for market stability and trade them out. I guess those who do long term investment in crypto knows the potential and returns it brings them.

I think it is still young to determine the fate of bitcoin, whether it will be over thrown by another coin. But obviously, I doubt that. Despite all the FUDs and other flaws that bitcoin comes with, it is still the coin that everyone in this room is aspiring to have and working meticulously for. All the FUDsters are this same persons to scam people for their bitcoins because they know the potentials of the coin.

Well, that is all because some governments are refusing to accept the potentials of cryptocurrencies. They only look at the risk aspect. My mate, they are not protecting their investors in any way. I decide what to invest my money into. They are only scared of the threat crypto posses to their economy and their bad centralized systems. In as much as crypto is risky, it can make you rich just in one day. You just wake up and realize that an amount which will yield less than 1% if invested into a centralized bank has now yielded 100% profit in crypto investment. We all know the risk ratio and still love crypto.

It wouldn't be termed as bitcoin airdrop, but in effect, some people argue that there was an airdrop just that the style of distribution wasn't like what we see today. But that also raises the question that is there was an airdrop of bitcoin, then why the anonymous Nakamoto. Bitcoin was previously valueless since it was used to receive candies from shops and the valueless item. That all I can say.

Well, there are digital currencies being used all around. Let me make this comparison. In my country we engage in mobile money/banking. All you need is to convert your fiat into digit and you can make payments anywhere from any distance. Its is no different from crypto except that the former is centralized and non volatile. Its all about making the world know how the crypto world works. Explaining to the algorithms behind cryptocurrencies and I think with this, the world will be ready enough.

I don't describe bitcoin as a currency worth the characteristics of the fiat. Well, it is more at the level of gold and other precious metals. The only difference is that, it is a digital asset. The volatility rate of bitcoin is too high. This is the reason why many great persons have heard of the coin yet do not want to risk their investments. If you bought one bitcoin at the price of 20,000USD then you have probably lost 13,000USD over a period of 7month.

That is not a failure but a problem needed to be fixed. The ethereum blockchain is overloaded with many projects which keeps demanding ETH from the masses. The value of cryptocurrencies are to some extent based on the number of coins in circulation. There is always numerous transaction of ETH to support eth projects and I think that is making Hodling impossible. This is why you think the Eth is failing. The price is not encouraging tho, but its is due to its numerous projects it supports.

In my opinion, I think they are yet to loose more to crypto. This is just the beginning of the game. Most people are moving into crypto. And the enormous coins in the system is creating an avenue for people to get their money into profitable investment. In my country, If you save or invest a hundred dollar for a year at the bank, you will not even get a profit of 5usd. So we are all moving to crypto world now.

I think I am on the same side with you man. I don't understand why blockchain is fully anonymous yet ICO project manager and bounty managers still want to do kyc. I think they monetize our personal data. Currently I have been receiving emails from projects I have not even sign up for. My telegram contacts keep increasing for no reason. I dont support KYC either and I wish there are other ways to check legitimacy aside KYC.

As some countries are into this great technology and seriously accepting bitcoin as a legit means of payment for goods and services, others are also on the serious campaign against blockchain technology. Wow, that is a great news. I remember I joined a community called DOVU that was trying to sign a partnership with BMW. That project was successful but I cant tell how far the signing went. The crypto community will be back on its feet once again. Price will boom if these automobile companies begin to embrace blockchain technology. I am only waiting for my company, Benz to also get into the market of cryptocurrency. Then I will get my dream car.

That is really true. I have  had an encounter with this two points you just raised. Scammers and Hackers are really smart. My first ICO campaign had not ended yet I received a message that I have been rewarded my token and to claim that, I need to send my private key. Thanks to the one who introduced me to blockchain. I almost made a fool out of myself. These are really good points to note especially when you are new to crypto. Its quite unfortunate that ICO managers too do not keep their promises and the keep monetizing our personal data to scammers.

From your analysis, then that means if blockchain should become obsolete, then I think bitcoin will follow suite. because blockchain is the technology on which bitcoin was built. If there should come a day when blockchain will be an old system and not in use anymore, then all coins must die. But I strongly doubt this imaginary idea shall come to pass.

Exactly, I have been in the system for few months and the little experience I have had shows that we know not much about this technology. It goes far beyond what we think. It is best to research or ask relevant questions about this tech before you make a claim. I sincerely agree with you. But the issue is not for newbies alone. It seems to cut across all the ranks

Nothing comes so easy. You have to really work for it. If you can't buy with that huge price allocation on bitcoin, you just have to spend time end efforts working to get it and I think it is worth it. Bitcoin is really an extraordinary digital currency and people do not just spend time on this coin, they have really created jobs for themselves with bitcoin.

Well, you have a point. But the principle for merit still holds that unless you make quality posts before you can get merited. This merit issue is becoming concerns for many but its been said that Do not post threads about merit because that wont fetch you any.
