smoking is not healthy and marijuana smoking is not good either. Therefore, I prefer to invest in a top ten token and knows that the course rises in the long term. because if this project fails, my money is gone ! and honestly ? Why do we need a blockchain? there are already so many 
I also invest in top tens like EOS but I think with low caps its about higher risk.. higher reward.

Dev, this softcap is very low. I think you will surpass that, so if you have a working blockchain already is the money for exchange listings and marketing mainly? I did not look at the whitepaper, it seems very detailed but extremely long.

Yep. And so many people say that when a price goes up sharply then falls on a coin (as Bitcoin just did) that it's because of "Pump and Dump" tactics and that we all are "Bagholders".Why no such talk here?

I want to thank DoggyBullDog for his eye opening posts. It never occurred to me that I might lose money alt-coin trading, or that Startcoin WASN'T Max Keiser's first ever project. See, I don't have Google or YouTube on my end of the Internet and even if I did I would NEVER think to research ANYTHING.

no pump and dump? every coin is pump and dump, look at the whole startcoin chart pls, pump and dump already has been done, this is just another round and who knows how high it can get, last time was 60k.

Maxcoin is a coin for long term run...yup we all expecting pump soon,but even without it you probably noticed that max is the most stable currency in this crypto crisis.
MaxCoin (like most other coins) slowly loses value until someone pumps it. I've been able to trade up from around 4,000 to 8,000 coins selling at the pumps and buying at the dumps.Whether MaxCoin gains mass acceptance is anyones' guess.
