Re: Will Ripple comes to 2 dollar by end of Feb 2018
by

Ripple is an important coin to watch because it is where all the really dumb money is at. If you see Ripple go to $2 you know the market is getting overvalued. If it hits $3.5 its time to take profit.

Ripple is what is getting shilled on CNBC by banksters trying to steal your money and keep control for themselves.

I usually compare the market price of BTC and Eth on Coinbase to the prices on all-crypto exchanges to figure out where the dumb money is moving  Roll Eyes

Re: Bitcoin is a liability for all coins

There needs to become a new standard coin that everything is paired to, which is also fungible to fiat money. The only other way to avoid bitcoin's governance issues is if goods and services become more readily purchased using cryptocurrencies that are not bitcoin. Like if I could use ADA to buy stuff on Amazon, and I can get more ADA on an exchange through a 1:1 trade (without btc pairs), then I can get by without BTC

Re: When is crypto gonna blow up?

As long as growth is >5% per month, that honestly counts as blowing up (so it IS blowing up).

It will probably need legitimate political opinions to come out if by "blow up", you means 2 trillion dollar market cap.

Re: [ANN] MONKEY PROJECT [X11] [POW/POS] [LOW PREMINE] [365% - 730% - 1850% ROI]
by
Maet1212
on 23/01/2018, 21:08:25 UTC
I've been spending some time and money on stake coins lately, because they are fun!  I got some Monkey Project in the wallet and I love the staking stats that you get with this coin, that is often lacking with other coins.  I have done some research into master nodes. If Monkey Project gets master nodes will that affect the current ROI % for regular staking?

There will be a bit reduction of ROI when MN are implemented ..

Seeing the factor of the price of MONK and  the supply at the time when MN is released ..

But what ever comes out will be the beast out from the team..

POS Monkey is aiming for a very long-term plan and growth..So keeping in mind of inflation in future few changes will be made..

By next month end there will be an clear updates about everything...

i love monkey, don't get me wrong, i've gotten some huge staking rewards and it's awesome. but the concerning thing is that the main appeal of the coin (the only appeal?) is the huge ROI on staking. So obviously they have to curtail that to avoid inflation, but then what's the appeal at all? Hopefully will still be decent staking ROI and great masternodes, we'll see...

Dev wrote his plans in the discord that's being passed around here.

On their slate:
-Masternodes
-Reducing max supply (and ROI accordingly)
-Whitepaper to describe the coin's future implementation (currently it IS a staking coin only)

In his post, he specifically mentioned "we don't want to become B3 coin", indicating that the devs are aware of the coins' current state and know that changes will be needed for it to succeed.

Go to the discord and read for 20 minutes, and I'm fairly certain you'll feel more confident about the coin's future.

Future? I don't think TRX even had a past... Where does the value of this coin even come from? The fact that the only thing I know about it is "Crypto-pets" is evidence to me that TRX is not a good investment. Their website doesn't have anything that jumps out at me either

Re: CEFS - CryptopiaFeeShares - Do the math
by
Maet1212

This token looks an amazing investment right now

Look at BNB and KCS tokens, they exploded the last few days.

BNB token:
$2 billiion marketcap
doesn't give you any money, just discount.
Exchange has $5.5 billion daily trading volume

KCS token:
$1,7 billion marketcap
Earns about 0.5% monthy based on current prices. ->>> https://kucoinshares.com/ ->>> 100 kcs gives you about $0.2424 daily and costs you $1848. Do the math, $7.272 monthly, 0.4% in a month, lets say 0.5%.
Exchange has $240 million daily trading volume

CEFS token:
$60 million marketcap (absolutely low compared to any other exchange token)
Exchange has $200 million daily trading volume
Earns about 1.5% monthly based on current prices. (3x more than with KCS) ->>> https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/2487
There are only 6300 coins (4.5% of gross income from trading fees distributed to the holders).
They charge 0.2% on both sides, the buyer and seller, wich is 0.4% volume
$200 million daily x 30 days x 0.4% x 4.5% = $1 million dollars distributed to holders.
About $171 dollars per CEFS, wich gives us about 1.5% monthly based on current prices.

So, returns are 3 times higher holding CEFS token than holding KCS.
This could be much bigger if Cryptopia keeps expanding.
Think in $1 billion daily trading volume.
->>> $850 monthly
So, CEFS are extremely undervaluated.
Price should be $30k at least now.
With $1 billion trading volume, price should get close to $100k
Also they just listed the token on coinmarketcap, but the token exists for almost one year and no one talks about.

Exchange is growing exponentialy, 100k new users every day, so many coins listed. twitter has 128k followers, look at their letter:
"By the 1st of December we hit 500,000 users. On the 31st of December we hit 1,000,000 users. By the 3rd of January we hit 1,100,000 users. By the 4th of January even with registrations disabled for 3 hours, we hit 1,200,000 users. With registrations paused again we're now sitting at 1,400,000 users. We've gone from just 2 people to over 50 people including contractors and consultants and we're looking to at the very least double that as soon as we can, but that also brings with it its own set of hurdles."

Where do you see $200 million daily? I only see ~6500 BTC today, which is 65 million, 130 million tops if you use the USD value from the other day.

I typically keep an eye out for people buzzing about ICO's on this forum. It seems like if enough long-time members are excited about a project, it's pretty likely that they've done their homework and found the project to be worth looking into.

I am surprised that ADA is so low on the list, given its high market cap and novelty. How did you collect this data?

You need to predict where the mob is heading. So far Bitcoin->Ripple->Ethereum. What's next? I think BCH is next simply because it's cheap and fast to move funds around. So far it's trending that way.

Changeally No Refund After 7 Days

My transaction failed a full week ago and they have not refunded me or sent me my payment, or even acknowledged any of the 3 support tickets I've submitted (1 per 3 days over the last week).

Use them at your own risk.

Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside!
by
Maet1212
on 10/01/2018, 17:56:23 UTC
Anyone smart enough would keep holding his onions and if even smart than smart he would keep purchasing whenever he can.

Deeponion already dominated its position and even if the project had a less achievement intentions and perhaps not clean intentions, after the success they have achieved, the world is in their hands and they are already millionaires, if you think they will not build a successful future for this then YOU ARE WRONG.

HOLD HOLD AND BUY MORE ! thats my advice .

I agree that it would be foolish for the developers to dump the project... There's a ton of money on the table for them if they keep trending the way they are. They're like a mobile app, some advertising, and an exchange away from vastly improving their worth.

Thanks for help
this is probably because exchange is closed so i should get it by tommorow morning

It looks like your transaction was cancelled, hopefully everything worked out! The Ether gas system is very convoluted for newcomers, it's surprising to me that they do not have a heavily encouraged default gas price that constantly updates.

Guys, anyone know Masternode from 500-5000 USD?

I just got in on Social Send. It's a bit pricey, but I think that their product has a future if they push on it.

I like holding onto:
1. Stratis
2. DeepOnion
3. Ethereum
4. Lisk
5. Social Send

Any coin/token that has a legitimate team and mission is worth holding onto at this point, because the market is shallow now and will only grow deeper (many new adopters don't even know what a wallet is yet)

But i sent it 6h ago so it should be done already, right?

I am guessing that you submitted the transaction from an exchange 6 hours ago and it was only actually added to the Eth queue 20 minutes ago (that's what the explorer indicates). The exchange might be bogged down and only just submitted it. You should expect it to take another ~4 to 6 hours before it processes if the calculator I cited is accurate.

As long as you sent it to the correct address, I wouldn't sweat it. The transaction is not going to disappear, it will just take a while due to the low gas price.

It looks like you can resubmit the transaction with a higher gas price that should solve your problem. I have not looked at it carefully but this may be helpful https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherDelta/comments/72tctz/guide_how_to_cancel_a_pending_transaction/.

If you do resubmit with a higher gas price, try using like 80 Gwei so it is transacted very quickly!

The process to override the gas price with a higher one seems very straight forward after reading over it. I suggest you carefully follow those directions with a Gwei price of 80 that will allow it to complete in ~30 seconds. Be careful to use the right web page (avoid phishing), and to set the gas limit amply high (having the gas limit too low can get the transaction thrown out. 210000 like you did should guarantee it processes I THINK, but you may want to check).

If you're freaking out right now, maybe come back and do it later when you're calm so you don't make any mistakes. Good luck!

anobody?

According to this calculator https://ethgasstation.info/calculatorTxV.php your transaction will take on average 4 hours because of the low gas price you used. If you had payed 40 Gwei, it would have taken a bit more than 10 minutes.

I would recommend using that calculator to decide what gas price to use in the future.
