At least "some" part of 2019 is bound to be good, whether that's sideways movement (at least not downward) for a time, or a bit of a recovery.

80%+ is a lot to move without easing up on the pedal a bit - even BitConnect's coin went up after it's immediate decline for a time.

I'm guessing that's what the 0x team had in mind - having a tokenized "representation" of clear ownership of those valuable possessions, pared with decentralized exchanges to cost near-nothing to exchange them.
