The project is dead, the developer does not send coins for exchange, the new wallet does not work, it is very difficult to add coins to a new wallet, there is no support. a nightmare. 
1)A pull request was submitted a week or so ago for listing to the BarterDEX. MGNX will be available to trade there in the coming weeks. We have also submitted an application form for listing to the BlockNet DEX.
2) Which wallet are you referring to? If you checked the announcements channel on Discord, you'd see that a few BETA wallets have been released. v0.2.42a is working fine, if you follow the instructions provided by the FAQ I created a few weeks back.
It was released, with a previous MGNX testing chain so you need to replace the parameters in the ports.js and .conf files, then restart the wallet. You should see it begin to sync. From there, you can import the WIF key (if you haven't done so already), and your balance will show up. It's not convenient, but the only version that syncs to the latest chain is 0.2.42b. This version crashes on opening the wallet for Windows and Mac OS.

3) Difficult to add coins? In what way? There is 1 step and that is to import the WIF key of the address you provided in the drop.

Why ZK Snarks and not Zerocoin ?
Both are Zero Knowledge Proof methods for achieving anonymity. ZK - Snarks for the MGNX asset chain takes influence from Zerocash protocol, which is more cryptographically sound than Zerocoin in my opinion.

MagnaCoinDev, plz describe your plans on current MGNX chain. In initial announce in first message of this thread launch date is 24 Jul, currently, according to existing explorer MGNX chain have 7806 blocks. But on official site i see launch date as 31 Jul. Will be MGNX chain relaunched or you will keep current chain? What will happen with coins that people are already owned now in current MGNX chain?

There was a bug in the chain so a restart is necessary. The chain will be launched again at a later time today, but I can't give any specific ETA. I will inform both the MGN and KMD community upon launch.

- No future development will happen, just like last time
- While long term hodlers have to wait on their airdrop until August 10, some Komodo members have already mined/staked over 90k coins in a couple of days
- This chain is absolutely not linked in value to the old chain
- The new chain does not have masternodes, its not even a PIVX fork anymore, it has nothing to do with the original roadmap but is just using the Magnacoin name to try and drive up price

1) 100% premine? How do you expect to carry out an airdrop on a completely new chain, if there are no coins to drop in the first place?
2) 11,000,000? Forgetting the additional 216k that will be produced by the time the airdrop is up? Also, it has not been determined how these extra leftover coins will be distributed, or burned even. That's up to the community.
2) You need to look at the chain parameters. No coins will be mined after block 2,629,800 and inflation lowers every 525,960 blocks (1 year or so assuming 60 second blocks).
3) Of course development will happen, except this time we'll indirectly reap the benefits from any advancements in development on Komodo asset chains. I have already been in talks with one of the core devs over securing the chain with dPOW via chain notarization. Also, the ability to create your own token ecosystem on the asset chain itself, using a colored coin system.
4) The asset chain has been started early, so that we can account for any errors that pop up. It was only last week that the KMD team were testing PoS chains. In fact, they have already run into a PoW algo adjustment bug, which will most likely mean a chain restart. This could continue all the way up to the day of distribution.
4) The value is partially derived from peoples willingness to trade back from MGNX to MGN and vice versa. Obviously some airdropped coins could be theoretically sold off on other trading pairs, but the most likely scenario is that people are going to be channelling liquidity through the MGN - MGNX atomic swap pair.
5) That is correct, but the old chain does. The old MGN is intended to run forever and compliment the MGNX asset chain. It has nothing to do with the original roadmap? Except it fulfils our ultimate goal of achieving atomic swaps with any asset on the BarterDEX.

The Airdrop model and MGNX coin generating scheme is a bit unclear.
So if we have 6 mil MGN on the Magna chain, there will be the posibility to drop up to 12 mil MGNX on the Komodo chain if all addresses Holding those 6 mil MGN were registered for aidrop ?
What happens after airdrop ? Will MGNX be dropped further while the old chain still generates MGN ?
The komodo MGNX chain starts at block 1, with those 12 mil Airdropped coins ?
Or is a fixed number of MGNX allready premined ? If there is a premine done, how do you know how much MGNX to premine, since the Supply of MGN increases with each block. Is there going to be a snapshot Happening for the Airdrop ?
And MGNX Held in the agama wallet will generate coins same as Komodo Held in agama wallet generates Komodo ?

5,800,000 MGN circulating supply
12,000,000 MGNX is the premine. The amount airdropped is just double the number of coins located at that address on the day of the drop. No snapshot needed.
MGNX also has an increasing supply up until block 5.2 million or so. 90% PoS / 10% PoW split. Check out the specs infographic.

I believe that a new project was initiated by the Komodo platform, because there have been many successful projects initiated by Komodo.
MGNX is not directly affiliated with Komodo. We are using their infrastructure to create an independent asset chain that will work in harmony to perform ZK-Snarks and atomic swaps with Magna coin.

Can we sign our Magna Address with a text that is something else as the KMD address ? We are basically using the KMD address to sign the MGN address, generating a signature string, am i right ? But we can use any other "text" to sign the MGN address, right ?
It's optional. It would be easier and less confusing to use your KMD address for signing the message, however, the message content can technically be anything.

There is no coin in the Agama list MGNX
The chain has not been integrated into the Agama wallet yet, but your KMD address will remain the same.

Magna is a project that encompasses 2 cryptocurrencies: a stand alone asset chain built using the Komodo platform (MGNX) and a Masternodes supported blockchain (MGN).
Both were built to provide different utilities, with MGNX acting as a complementary coin for the main chain.
History:
MGN coin was created on November 22, 2017. In terms of distribution, the majority of the premine was sold on the now deceased Coinmarkets exchange. Magna provides anonymity through coin obfuscation and instant transactions via Swift tx. As of July 4, there have been over 326000 blocks mined and the final BR phase was reached 180 days after the inception of the original genesis block.
MGNX is currently being airdropped to all existing MGN holders. The genesis was mined on July 4, 2018 and comes packed with a variety of on-chain features, including: Zk-Snarks, atomic swaps and smart contracts that have the ability to interact with other asset chains.

Atomic Swaps
The ability to swap MGN and MGNX simultaneously between 2 parties using the Komodo Easy DEX.
ZK-Snarks
The option to transact privately on MGNX via Zero Knowledge Proofs, which allows coins to be transferred from sender to receiver without revealing any information about the transaction. This is done through Zerocash Protocol and is made possible by using the Jumblr feature for a small transaction fee (0.3%), via the desktop Agama wallet.
Smart Contracts
The -ac_cc parameter has been set to 2, giving MGNX the ability to interact with other asset chains using smart contracts.
Cross Chain DAPPs
Listing to the BlockNet DEX has given the opportunity to bridge interoperability by building DAPPs that share data between multiple chains.
Swap Instructions
The time to claim the airdrop was from July 16 to September 10.
Amount
Everything has been airdropped at a 2:1 ratio.
The remaining MGNX has/will be used in the following manner:

Prequisites
1) Installed the latest version of the Agama desktop wallet
2) A working Magna wallet that is holding coins
Claiming the airdrop
1) Open your MGN wallet
2) Click "File" >> "Sign Message"
3) Enter your MGN address. You'll need to sign a message for each MGN address that holds any coins that you're looking to claim the airdrop from.
4) In the message box, input your KMD address
5) Fill out the claiming form here. Ensure that you have kept track of your signature because this will be used to verify the message.
6) A script will be run to automate the drops.
The original plan was to airdrop within 72 hours of form submission, but this would lead to exploitation from people moving coins around their addresses between windows. Instead, a deadline was set for 25 August, 2018.

I can officially reveal that MGN will re-branding to MGNX sometime in April. This comes after finding a new developer willing to assist in implementing zerocoin protocol and help get Magna to reach its full potential. The details on the swap and Magna's new features will be coming very soon.
