We are not dead, but MarlboroMan / JimmyZed and his little group of people here have been contacting me via email to post lies and false information about the coin so that they could pump the price. We told them we won't participate in their lies and schemes and he decided to dump the price today when we called them out, so after seeing all this we are positive this was the right decision not to go with there lies . In order to let the dust settle, we will be taking a small break to complete our new features and developments. Thank you for your patience with us and stay tuned for more great releases!

I am just starting with Apex, I bought my first 30 K of Apex and moved them to my wallet for staking. But in the wallet it says "not staking because you do not have mature coins". What does this mean? I have to wait for the coins to mature? How long does this lasts?
I thank you in advance for giving me assistance, and sorry if it this question was already asked, I looked but could not find it. So please help an Apex noob.

As APEX grows we have more people joining the community, you will all realize after a while that this is a really close and tight-nit community indeed. Working together amongst ourselves and with the developers to make APEX one of the top alts next year. Year 2015 will be a big year for APEX, when we will become a medium market capital coin, with a market capitalization of several hundred thousand USD. My estimate is $200,000 to $500,000.
I think it's time that the APEX community comes together again to achieve something beautiful, as we have done many times before.

Some one just tried to pull a major shakeout , dumping almost 10 BTC into the buy orders.
The price has stayed above 2000 satoshi the whole time, and we are at 2400 satoshi now ! This is a major event !

It's getting there if you have expensive electricity.

I'm not growing my farm now, but the income and spare heat is quite nice this winter.
These attract VAT+duty when imported in the EU, so the total comes around 250USD. Then you need a PSU, so let's say 30USD more.
Total = 280USD
Basically these will never see break even.
Here in the UK these will bring 0.30GBP profit daily
VAT depends on the country but it is usually 20% or more in the EU countries, and with duty this can increase the price 30-40% , you have to put this into the equation.

Sorry we haven't been so active lately, there have been a few personal life issues that came up and we had to take a small step back from active development. We have some more announcements to release soon regarding this but for now let's talk about a development donation as you as a community once again steps up for. As you will know, the multipool is soon to be released and we just need a bit of APEX to donate to the multipool creator in order to make this happen (yeah it's always about the money). The community support of APEX members is too great! One of the biggest reasons why I'm with APEX besides having one of the most advanced wallets in crypto.
I'm with you and victoo on this 100%. I am sure many other community members share the same sentiment. So far the community has been very close and the devs are also very open to discussions and collaboration with the members of the community.
How many alts out there, have this kind of environment ? I would say only a few one, and most of them have been around for much longer then APEX, like the older ones released in 2012 -2013, out of those Peercoin is the best example of a great community-dev relationship. I think we can learn how to grow in the right way from the coins like Peercoin which have been around for more than 2 years.
APEX is 5 months old , and it is entering a more mature stage at this point, most coins released around the same time as APEX - June and July 2014 are dead by now, because they were either just scams and pumps and dumps or some useless LTC clones.
