Also i see people are not showing much interest on the coin , So start giving good ideas for the coin for Future implementations  or good method's so we get added to any good exchange - Bittrex , Cryptsy , Coin-swap , Bter (suggest more if you know )
THE BEST IDEA WILL BE AWARDED WITH  0.1 KSC , the Idea must be choosen to be best by the DEV not me.

The award will be given only after getting successfully added to a exchange

In order to get acceptance, you need lots of people that are able to get access to the coin.  This means you need newbies that may have heard of what a "bitcoin" is, but not much else.

I would recommend putting in a built in Faucet and/or "lottery" style drawing (i.e. 0.000000001 or whatever).  This would allow the common people new to cryptos to be able to participate in the coin, and generate want/interest.

So:  Add a Faucet.  Add a "lottery" style drawing that occurs once a month, quarterly, etc built directly into the wallet.

Thanks!

Might consider looking at some other cryptos besides BTC.  A lot of those can be mined/traded for a profit right now.

Localbitcoins.com for in person trades.

This.  And its always good to make new friends.  If you are meeting the person, a lot of times they will help answer some of your questions that you may have, and even share some insights to the ups-and-downs that they experienced when they were first starting out.

I like the idea of a minimum number of posts - but 75 seems a bit high.  I'd be more inclined for 20 or 25.

Just came CryptographicCoin today (better late than never, right? Tongue)   I'm glad this coin pre-addresses the 51% issue that is creeping up on some of the other cryptos.  Very cool - and great foresight to get the problem addressed before its a problem.

Best of luck!  Smiley

I went ahead and added your giveaway for my signature space - thanks!  Smiley

Re: How much will Bitcoins.com sell for???
by

I would guess in the half a million range.

New TLDs are coming out all the time now - which makes having to have a .com less important as consumers become accustomed to irregular domain names.

I think it needs to be more widely accepted online (Amazon.com, Ebay, etc, etc).  Once that happens, it will then become more common/adopted at "normal" retail places.  Smiley

But who is stupid enough to download a random file from a stranger on the internet? Even though I just said that, I know there are plenty of people that do. Almost deserved to be scammed just for a lesson-learned.

This.

It would take someone extremely naïve (or stupid) to just download a random file from a stranger.   Still just the same, I'm sure that this technique will be "improved" upon to prey on newbies.

Wow....saving 50% of your expenses would be very hard for me.

I certainly hope that it works out!!!  (Though I'd probably diversify a bit into other cryptos as well)

speaking of these two, does anyone know a step by step for using the wallet.info to back up a balance?

Fantastic question.  I was wondering that myself.   (Is it as simple as downloading the wallet, and overwriting the file?)

Re: Superpowers for Bitcoin
by
Malok
on 07/07/2014, 20:44:16 UTC
Biggest thing for promotion (without self gain) I would do:  is make it easier for "people on the street" to be able to mine/access coins.  This can range from adjusting the algo on bitcoin so that a miner that is built in a wallet has a relative chance of actually successfully mining.

That way, its "1 click" for people on the street to be able to figure out...without having to sweat things like figuring out "what is ASIC",  hash rates, what is a pool, etc, etc.  (The ASIC/pools obviously would still have an edge, but a normal computer at home would have a reasonable probability of actually mining their own coins).

If you get people on the street to be able to do it....then you will gain mass acceptance.   As it is now, most crypto coin mining is limited to the world of Geeks & Techno-Nerds.

Side note:  If you get a coin that is promoted that actually caters to the "dumbed down" audience of main street normal people - and it is promoted heavily without anything wacky (i.e. 50% pre-mine by developer, etc) - I think it will replace Bitcoin just like Facebook replaced MySpace & LinkedIn.
