There is hardly anything the owners of these groups can do about it other than having them banned when they are  reported. It is mostly up to the individual to protect their funds, that is why they have tags tellimg people they dont message first.

Re: Coinbase? Someone made a profit?

No I haven't used coinbase to trade although I have an account on there. As regards making profits, that's a different thing entirely, I have but it boils down to your ability to do personal Due Diligence on any project you want to invest in but long term, it's likely most top alts will make you profits.

Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters
by

I personally think adopting the payment of boubty hunters with stablecoins would be very beneficial to bothr the project and the hunters. However, most projects csnnot afford to pay hunters at the commencement of the campaign, hence, they opt to pay using their tokens which they hope will be of value when listed.

Re: Giving away too much quantities of tokens in bounties
by

Well it depends on the value of such tokens(market and estimated). In most cases, for such projects, upon listing the actusl price is a far cry from what the team estimates. There's hardly any project willing to give out a substantial amount(fiat value) to bounty hunters.

You should add Creepts by Cartesi to the list. I love that game. Numerous games have been springing up within the decentralized space. I remember those days of HILOW. Now games have really evolved. I look forward to more interesting and sophisticated games.

Re: Which trading platforms do you use?

Buy trading platform do you mean for spot trading or for trading derivatives and futures or just an exchange. Personally my favourite exchanges are Binance and Kucoin then Idex for decentralized exchanges. Then you have KoinPro an undiscovered giant.

Well the best way out of this in my opinion would be to double down on your position. Buy more so that with the upcoming rally, you can easily offset your losses and hopefully make so nice gains. This is no financial advise though but that is what I would do if I were you.

Those tokens are to be used on their exchange I believe with me being unlocked as users trade and those tokens can be used for trading fees. I really look forward to seeing what becomes of it. It recently pulled a massive 5x or there about within a few weeks.

The market does seem quite bullish at the moment, a good place to take profits in my opinion. The only indicator I trust, the crypto fear and greed index, just entered greed so I'm looking to short. Not to mention the massive bearish divergence. It's likely we go down and strongly too.

Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted?
by
Mammothcoin
on 01/06/2020, 22:37:08 UTC
Although the Bitcoin dominance is presently dropping, many people are still more comfortable with buying bitcoin than investing in altcoins. As a result, only when alts gather attention and look primed for a rally do people decide to buy them. Hence the seeming boycott of alts.

Well the portfolio looks fairly solid but the definition of a whale is rather subjective. How many percent of the total supply or circulating supply do you hold. Personally, I think anyone with less that 5% of the total circulating supply isn't fit to be called a whale.

With the legalization of cryptocurrency in India, it is only logical for the prices of Indian projects to increase as a result of further adoption. Also, Wazirx is one of the Indian cryptocurrency projects supported by Binance so it is only expected for it to skyrocket.

Personally I strongly believe Tron will pull off a 100x easily. Not because of the tech(the tech is okay) as much as Justin Sun's marketing. He is an expert at using fundamental analysis to his advantage, I'm looking to bet on that. Asides that I think may mid caps will pull off a 100x

by

This is a very good development for the project and it has strengthened the bullish momentum and sentiment on it. Although one cannot categorically say the name of the exchange, I believe a lot of people have an idea of the exchnage already. The only downside is, projects tend to dump first upon listing on there before pumping.

Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters
by
Mammothcoin
on 27/05/2020, 16:58:17 UTC
Telegram is an easy to use platform that is highly compatible with bots, as such prople can easily create spam bots, fake accounts to use to create fake population in a group and other malicious attacks like defamation. It's sad that rather than seeking to use it positively, scammers have chosen to use it as their most preferred spamming/scamming platform.

I believe Okex has strict NDA on the listing on new coins so it's obvious that from the onset using the listing on Okex  as a means of luring participant to promote the project. Look at Cartesi that wanted to get on Binance launchpad, no noise about it, no price spwculation, nothing. That's how you no a good project.

Re: The return of ICOs
by
Mammothcoin
on 27/05/2020, 15:00:17 UTC
I really think it is highly unlikely for ICOs to become a thing again within the cryptocurrency space. The IEO model seems more effective in raising funds and people are moving more towards investing in security tokens over utility tokens as those provide hodlers with the benefit of profit sharing.

Well investing in Bitcoin is a sure bet if you're playing the long game. However, if you research projects, it's likely that there are alts that that will outperform BTC when prices start to rally. These alts would be a better choice to buy and hodl.

Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying
by
Mammothcoin
on 26/05/2020, 19:03:37 UTC
If your friend has recommended to you a new cryptocurrency, it is up to you to do your due diligence on the pick, research the project, it's development, team, investors and other factors that are relevant to the successful development of the project. You are responsible for your financial decisions.
