Re: Bitcoin in freefall... Too bad for those people who bought over 100$! hahaha

Soon the great btc tulip mania is over  Smiley Bitcoin going under 100$ and never going back up where it was  Smiley
Leaving believers to believe, traders, investors and corporations moving on  Smiley

Silly me bought more over $100.

Pity I didn't get the chance to cash out over $1,000. Oh wait...

Congratulations you forced me to bring this account out of hibernation.

No-one's moving on believe me. There is plenty of money waiting for the right price. It's just that this is nowhere near it.

This week there were other ways to make money like selling Rubles against the dollar on leverage. Even shorting Bitcoin was never going to match that. Hell the whole US stock market just saw its biggest one day gain of the year.

Investors, traders, speculators, ETFs will join in the next bubble. Fanboys will keep the price from zeroing though.

There will come a point where the perfect mix of widespread acceptance, clear regulations and mature infrastructure will make the price look a steal. I suspect we need to see Bitcoin 2.0 before then. I don't believe another cryptocurrency will steal away Bitcoin's thunder. That's 5 years of work and drama to get where we are now. Then you will see a spike like no other. When will that be? A couple of years away perhaps. Just be ready and don't miss the boat.

Disclaimer: I currently hold no crypto for the first time since 2012. I have my target price for Bitcoin though.

Fundamental analysis thread REVIVED
by
ManBearPig
on 12/06/2014, 12:00:01 UTC
This is a revival of lebing's original thread which was a great starting point for the biggest developments for noobs and old-timers alike. I shall endeavour to keep it up-to-date. Starting today with the most relevant bits to fill the gap. Sit tight while I get it up-to-date.

I'm going to keep this thread updated with the most important fundamental reasons (not technical) which will in the long term, move the price. Hopefully over the long term this reduces the number of "OMG?! why is the price going X??" I will be limiting the updates I make to this thread to only those items which have the power to significantly affect adoption/ move the market (snip)

No. This doesn't feel right at all and I can't see Litecoin flourishing if your plan were to succeed. What unique position do you hold that you think you have any chance to make this happen?

Awful idea.

Re: Stupid reasons for getting banned on BTC-E!!! what's yours?
by

on 28/02/2014, 11:40:26 UTC
They banned me in August 2013 for 100,000 minutes I think it was ("You has been banned!") for discussing the problems I had withdrawing BTC. It was delayed for 2 days and support was no help so I warned others.

I checked my account a few weeks ago and found it had been unbanned.

The mods are unpaid because some people value kudos and perceived authority more than money.

But hey I'm back and despite everything it's the only place to trade. No, I don't take Cryptsy seriously.

Although their owners are anonymous and this is a major misgiving I have about them, I'm there for better or worse.

Yeah it's so obviously artificial. You could argue it's positive though because Karpeles could let it fall to say, $50 and scoop those up at 1/5 the price?

I dunno, as much in the dark as anyone. We shall soon see I guess!

Is x profitable? Who knows? Yes so long as you don't mine and dump.

Seriously, I was mining 3 LTC per day last April. A few dollars profit per day. Had I kept them and sold at the top - VERY profitable but no I just sold them at market value didn't I?

Mine something that's going to stick around and hold it.

But I'd spend half that 10K on coins themselves. BTC, LTC and 1 other in a 40-40-20 split.

Hi I tweeted you but I guess this is the official place for feedback.

I love the site, it's replaced 2 or 3 other sites I used all the time and is all about the currencies that matter to me at least: BTC/LTC.

I would go for the Premium upgrade in a flash if I could draw Fibonacci retracements etc. as well just straight lines!

Thanks Smiley

We're looking at $100K or thereabouts as "da moon". Most would agree that if BTC reaches that price, we'll officially be standing on Terra Formaggio right?

As I understand it a US plate is only unique to a state. Here in the UK our number plates are unique to the whole country therefore rarer.

You can't of course rearrange the characters so this is the closest you can get "100K BTC" or "BTC 100K".

I'll leave this ad here just for when there might be interest in the future.

Not that I'll need the money if and when we get there...

He clearly has a personal bias, perhaps irrational. I feel no need to confront these kind of people with a positive version of that. Just sounds like an argument about religion that way.

The choices should increase in orders of magnitude.

I'm going for a conservative five figures so a mere 10x growth.

I guess that's the $5,000+ bracket then - seriously give people some 100x options Wink

You can't.

The Newluminati reptiles can take your cryptoez by thought any time they want.

Nah I'm only kidding. Just shell out for a few metres of this stuff:

And place your speakers on the OUTSIDE of your house.

Works a charm.
