Most stuff is plug and play now which is nice. I do have fun too messing with the little stuff but yeah it is hard to get excited about a few g/h now.
Drones are something I want to do just have not taken the plunge yet.

Same here on the little stuff. I get so sidetracked after I get going.
Phil always knocks it out of the park though and that rules.

It must be nice to have space to do all of these cool projects. Colour me jelly.

Space is a nice thing to have.  I have a few project areas.... that all have projects waiting on me.  That is my issue with space is I tend to find projects.... and have a few going at once.

Eventually I will get around to all of them someday.

Yea mine keeps expanding more and more.  Recently I have gotten decently into drones..... have been spending a lot of hours there.  But it's been a fun project.

I am lucky that my mining area stays pretty well.  At this point no babysitting it's pretty well fined tuned.   Only ones that require messing with is lotto mining.  I still need to take a picture.  I got rid of my U3's and some compacs.  But kept a few for fun lotto mining.  I just have a hard time remaining excited on small hashing amounts.

Under the BitCrane is a BTC Garden V1 X2 x2.
I will have a review of it going live next week. :-)

You gotta nice setup Mane. Got a little bit of everything. What is the unit under the Bitcrane?

That is too funny. I wonder just his many uses you can find for it.

I did notice the lack of pictures of small miners in this thread, it means that mining is really turning to be a corporate professional task since the introduce of ASICs.

How's this for small:

It runs much cooler than the old 65nm BFL hardware I'm going to finally retire after the cold winter months are done with, and without all the hardware errors I had on the BFL --- this is stable at 107-119 GH/s mostly, even when I'm playing flappy bird...

Most of what I've been doing has been OS / rom hacks and stuff like removing the bamc it came with and clearing out to make room for more games and other non-mining stuff.

They are legit Hashlets that were sold in a limited run to commemorate 9/11.
Pretty neat.

Awesome.  Now we've moved on to discussing freaking cloud mining in a "Pictures of your mining rigs!" thread.   Roll Eyes

I support this. There are other threads for cloud mining. Keep it to the subject. I want to see mining p0rn!

sorry this is all the mining pornz i haz now...i've posted everything else i have Tongue happy now?

Thats a great Hashlet (Hamashlet)

Very true but his looks like it is not connected to anything.
I know up here people have some cool setups that store a few days of electricity for constant stable power.

That is quite the setup.  Awesome solar panels.
How do you store the electricity to run when it is dark?

Most people feed back into the grid so that the solar panels just act as an offset to the power bills

Means you get a 100% stable supply even when its cloudy/dark and you don't have to spend thousands on batteries to store the power

To give credit where credit is due, BFL did it first  Tongue
Baloney. :-)

And in the interests of posting pictures, here's 300gh in my solar shed.

A close up of the equipment

Yes, the water cooled jallies are holding up fine. And finally, a wide angle shot of the sheds. Good solar porn here.

Your pulling roughly 1000 watts per th/s per S2 and more per th/s of S1's.
Depending on how much you pay for electricity that could be several thousand per month.

How much in electricity though?
Even if you own the data center it is in you could not eat that kind of power draw.

All set up and running. And yes, the backlight of 8 have burned out so far.

I currently have 45U racks, each with 10KW of usable juice. Price is under $1600/mo each rack. That includes power, data, cooling, UPS, Generator 99.999% uptime.

I'll take a picture Thursday after I install the rest of the Batch 2 Antminer S2's

That's a huge project.
Did you have to get new permits to run that kind of power?

Actually well over 200 for clients and ETC, but we are in the processes of rewiring everything. Gotta love 240v

Same here, I live in Northern NY and we have had so many -40 nights and days on end of -10 to -15 in a row this winter it brings back memories of growing up in the 1970's.
This is the first year in the last 10+ that the snow did not melt all away at least twice by now during the winter.

I hate you.  Tomorrow will be the coldest day of the last 10 months here in SoCal - get down to a chilly 49F at night.  I swear God mad this the hottest winter in history on this side of the US.

How are you regulating the humidity if you're bringing in outside air?
Oh man. 49F is like a heat wave up here!

For humidity control, we shut the window a few inches when it starts to snow.  Grin Grin Grin

You should build those to sell.
That is one of the best setups I have seen in such a small, well place setup.
Great job.

- CPU: Celeron G1620
- Mobo : ASRock H61 PRO BTC
- PSU: SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1200W
- RAM: 4GB
- GPU: x5 MSI 270 Gaming (undervolted via bios flash (VBE7) to 1.063v)
- USB Risers
- OS: BAMT 1.3
- Total Power Consumption: 750W
- Total Hash rate: 2.3 Mhs

- Intensity: 18 / Thread Concurrency: 15508 / GPU-Engine: 1100 / GPU-Memclock: 1500 / GPU-Powertune: 0 / GPU-Fan: 40-80

Very happy with these results each card is getting 460Khs the fan never go above 40% with temps around 55C-65C so the rig is very 'quiet' and the x4 fans have a switch to lower RPM to improve this further. Overall power consumption is excellent each card is around 135W.

I love all these rigs.  Definitely have lots of ideas on how to build one for myself to go with my Bitcoin ASIC's.

Thanks
