Last windows update is problem. Nvidia driver is struggling with it. Go back 2- 3 driver and try. I have 1070s working @ 391.35 and windows updated ( well, still some weird behavior )....AMD also have problems, older cards newer drivers and update. I have 480 reference that no driver works normally with last W10 update. Anybody share experiences?

- added "-oldkernels" option (AMD GPUs only), you can try "-oldkernels 1" to use old-style GPU kernels from v10, they can be more stable for hard OC and custom BIOSes.
- a bit reduced stale shares for Nvidia GPUs.

Mr Claymore , can you please add the oldkernels for nvidia also , i have tried all versions after 10.0 and none of them work as good as 10.0 , i dont know if its just me or my cards, (Nvidia 1070 FE)but any other version of miner after10.0 either crashes , or reports 50-80 mhs less to the pool. just make a version of 10.0 and add DAG Epoch to 299 , lot of us dont care for 1.5% more Mhs if we have to keep our rigs 2-4% of time down due to crashes or instability. i believe ppl with lots of miners will agree for a more stable miner then over 1.5% hash more in runtime. let the kids follow phoenix or whatever miner its out there and get wet over 3 shares more , they will all come back after they realize they spend a shitload of time troubleshooting rigs and tweaking clocks just to find out that they lose way way more than they think they win seeing in runtime slightly bigger numbers.
so please focus more on stability and reliability and efficiency of the miner then chasing ghost high numbers. thankyou. (maybe you can make a really stable version based on old stuff "10.0" and add as section called experimenting or testing or beta or whatever upload it to get tested and work from there on the experimental versions )

v11.2:
- some improvements in AMD GPU kernels, it can increase hashrate a bit in some cases.
- reduced some delays, it will cause a bit less stale shares.
Great job with the miner Mr Claymore, but i have a question, as of now i use v10.0 on my rigs (22 Nvidia 1070 FE), im mining on nanopool i have reported hashrate 710 and calculated 735-750Mhs at 1-3-6-12-24h, if i try any other update over 10.0 with the same exact clocks i get 710 reported and 690-705Mhs calculated. any ideea why this is happening?i have none.- some improvements in AMD GPU kernels, it can increase hashrate a bit in some cases.

Hello, what is the expected hashrate for dualmining with GTX 1070? I have a rig of 6x Gigabyte G1 GTX 1070 and I get an average of 31,3 ETH and 880 XVG. My OC settings are +670 memory, +100 clock and 80% voltage. I use -dcri 80 value.
i use 790 memory, 63% voltage, -200 core i get 32.500mhs this is eth only

i recently switched all my GTX 1070/1070ti to ETH due to ZEC price drops etc.
I find some rigs work ok (stable) and on some the hashrate is fluctuating.
may this be realted to drivers? are there drivers ok ?
385.41 for 6x1070 rigs
and 388.59 fo 6x1070ti rigs? or claymore requires the newest nvidia drivers?
i use v10.5 version.... the HASHRATE is ok at the start, but then after some time fluctuates. I check on nanopool for 6hr average and find some rigs only have 170 MH/s avg.
settings differ cause i try...
1070: power 75 (high but i want stability, not really low power), core -200 (some -190 now), mem +680 (some +690). the rigs are very cool temps around 38-42 deg.
i put -r 120 so the client restarts (i find this give better hash?)
MY RX580 rigs are 100% stable there is no fluctiation but nvidia with ETH gives me headache plz help ;-)

So how are the gains when mining ethereum with this miner using nvidia's gtx 1070 rog strix card? Will I be better off just mining ZEC/verge or should I give this a go.

is the 10.2 really better instead of v. 10.0? (I've a lot of RIGs and I don't waste time)

why do I need to add allpools 1? I actually tried that and the miner is running however, when I check my wallet on the dwarfpool site, there are no ETH deposits and average hashrate is showing as zero so I thought that means its not working ?

Can you also take a look into 10.1 and 10.2(maybe if based on 10.1) version of the miner i did some testing and at 96 h 10.1 reported hash rate 707 mhs calculated 660-670 mhs tested on all nanopool, ethermine, dwarfpool. when version 10.0 its perfectly working same tested 96 hrs reported 707 mhs calculated 710-715.
dunno about 10.2 yet but ill stick to 10.0 for the moment.
3 rigs total of 22 cards: 19 GeForce gtx 1070 Nvidia FE and 3 GeForce® GTX 1070 G1, win 10 , latest drivers, ASUS PRIME Z270‑A

You guys had any problems mining on Dwarfpool with claymore?? i set up my .bat file on my miners (Nvidia gpu's) i see the miners and hash rates on dwarfpool web, but i see no personal shares nor graphs about the miners i left it 1 hour , everything works fine in claymore console , but on the web i see no profit no shares just my miners and hashrates. anyone know what might be wrong? i use 10.1 claymore and {EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-us.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0xf4563559911922b5b1c43f587abcbd336b8c4afc/mineiac1 -epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10 -r 1}

It works on 10.1, 2 rigs Nvidia GPU's , didn't had an x worker for the 1st hour but i left it overnight and it created it , also at 450 mh/h you get 3-6 shares/hour more.

Hi. So I bought 8 vega 56 to make a rig, thinking it would be no different than a 1080ti rig.
I can only get 5 cards to work on asus z270-a, the rest are not recognised, and sometimes a 6th comes up with problems in device manager only disappear at the next reboot. very strange.
Do you know what motherboard/driver etc can get 6+ cards running on windows ?
On linux I couldn't even boot with more than 3 cards, it would give me some pci express errors.
Also, what miner works with vega on linux with the 17.40 + rocm drivers ? or is there any way to enable old opencl for vega ?

Also hook them one by one and update driver individually /make sure risers are working/ psu can handle / 8gb ram minimum/ win up to date. thats pretty myuch what you can do , just make sure you install them in windows and update drivers one by one / leave the m2 adapter for the last.

Using 8x GPU Nvidia GTX 1070 FE, on windows, Asus Prime z270-a works like a charm 32.100 Mh/s on each card total power 860Watt/h. but i had a big time hassle while i was trying to install the 8th card cos of the cheap m2->PCIe connector , everything solved when i use a better m2 ->PCIe from amazon --->> Explomos M.2 Key

When I still had my 8-gpu rig consisting of MSI Gaming X 580 4gb elpidas, I'm having similar problems as you. They're smooth and all but they only hash 29.6 if all eight cards are connected.
If I only plug 4-5 cards, they hash a terrific 30.1 up to 30.3 each.
I've created a thread here, in another board and even in ethermining sub of reddit but apparently, not too many miners have 8-gpu rigs to contribute their thoughts.
I'm in the process of building 8x Nitro+ 580s on Saturday and I hope and pray that it's not going to be the same experience as the Gaming X's.
lol... I've got seven 570 rigs with 8*MSI gaming, 8*asus expedition, and 8*Nitro+
mostly elpida, some of those also have 2-4*1060 Palits 6Gb all on Asrock h100 btc. The issues I'm having with dual claymore v10 & blockchain drivers:
1) the main problem is that some cards like to go down to 24-25 from regular 28-29. On some rigs first boot is almost guaranteed to be this way, often it's 28,25,25,25,25,25,25,25... but on anothers it may come in a few hours after reboot. (if it comes later the cards become very unstable and often crash, even on 1800Mem and 1080Core settings. Didn't check the stock timings yet...) Sometimes these all can lead to win hung, but now just installed watchdogs, so this is partially solved:)
2) Another issue is that Nvidia may fail to allocate dag and several reboots(sometimes even 5-6) may be required to get rid of this error. Also may lead to win hang.
3) And finally extremely irritating issue with EthMon: I've got one rig (one of the clones, so nothing special about it) that after 10-20 hours looses connection to EthMon, and will appear red, although working fine.
Curious what mobo do you use with your 8x gpu rigs?
Also, are you having a similar problem as mine? 8x gpus mine slower when all is connected ? or they mine the same as connecting a single GPU?
