No, most of them are from syria fleeing war though there are also iraqi and afgans fleeing Isis but in my lesser figures.

Where can I learn/ see how I can create my own altcoin? So I want to code it by myself, is there any video about this, because i can't find it anywhere.

Do you specifically wont to code it yourself or clone one? It's easy to clone and tweak them a bit or even use online generators, though unless you've got an original idea it kinda seems pointless to me.

50k dollars to kill an animal, among other beautiful and we should protect. but what kind of world do we live? I hope to arrest him in this stupid

Hunting is prevalent all over the world, even in America, but obviously you don't have the chance to hunt exotic animals but this isn't that shocking to me. I don't condone it but he probably was under the assumption that it was legal.

Zimbabwe now wants to extradite the dentist.
I don't see that happening too easily.

Yeah doubt it will happen. I'm sure he can afford a goof lawyer too.

There's a story about Cassius Clay which pretty much sums up what americans attitudes are really like.  You all can guess or look up what I'm talking about.   It seems like stupidity has more and more become the most common defining trait of the american people.

What story is that?

Americans used to be able to go to the moon, now they only want legalize sodomy and drugs. USA is declining so fast  Smiley

Bumsex has been legal for years, and they're not moving fast enough on legalizing drugs.

Really? Outrage? The general public don't seem to care. The only people who do are his mother and a few libertarians but a lot of angry anarchists arn't going to get him freed.

You have to fix the education system before you give it out to people.

If you educate people then they can earn the money themselves, though there's not always the jobs there once people do get the qualifications so I think looking at developing industries that will create thousands if not millions of new jobs.

Re: You Can Be Prosecuted for Clearing Your Browser History in US

Yeah, ridiculous law and very vague. Seems like a last resort to try pin something on someone when no other charges will stick.

No need to clear the browsing history, let browsers not to remember the browsing history ever.
Then you won't be able to prove that you didn't clear it.

How could they prove it was you who cleared it in the first place. I'd blame the NSA hacked into my computer and framed the charge  Cheesy.

Regulations are going to happen whether we like them or not, but they're part of the deal if we want bitcoin to be recognized as a legit currency. They wont be a bad thing as long as they're not too restrictive or throttling.

Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy?

Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy?

No. She's a politician. And a Clinton. Double no.

Watch: George Clooney pledges to support Hillary Clinton any way he can

It looks like Hillary Clinton’s got the #TeamClooney vote on lock. In a new interview with Fusion’s Jorge Ramos, George Clooney says that he’ll assist Clinton, whom he describes as a “tremendous candidate,” in “whatever way [he] can help.”

Clooney’s full support could be huge for the Clinton campaign, given its primary fundraising goal of $100 million. Back in 2012, the Academy Award-winning actor held a fundraising event for Barack Obama at his Studio City, California, home that ultimately raised $10 million for the incumbent—the largest amount of money raised at a single Obama campaign event up to that point.

Clooney, who dominated headlines last September thanks to his high-profile wedding to human-rights lawyer Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin), has long used his star power to shine a light on political issues. He was one of Hollywood’s foremost advocates in spreading awareness of the crisis in Darfur, and he served as one of the United Nations’ Messengers of Peace from 2008 until 2014.

Anyone think he's just brown-nosing for support if he ever runs for president? Always lots of talk about him possibly running for president at some point. I could actually see him being popular - he certainly looks the part and politics is all about celebrity now any way..

Re: Africa May Leapfrog Traditional Banking
by
Manic Street Preacher
on 11/04/2015, 09:46:16 UTC
not all of them(all country in africa) are so advanced and are confortable to use technology device, this is true for the sud africa, nor africa on the other hand is getting better, and they have nothing to envy to europe or usa(i have friend that live there, so i know a bit about it)

Some 90% of the Africans live in poverty. But at the same time, there is a large community of the African nouveau riche, comprising of businessmen and migrants who have found jobs in the EU and North America. There are tens, if not hundreds of millions of people who use smartphones in the African continent. It will be foolish to ignore this large group.

90% where are you getting these stats from. Not even close according to this http://www.our-africa.org/poverty

I don't think they can leapfrog traditional banking. If they can't access the banking, how can they buy  or cash out bitcoin through the exchanges, which accept fiat money deposits for them to trade or transfer fiat money to your bank account for withdrawal?

You don't need exchanges. You could have remittances coming in and then bitcoin circulating through the sale of goods and services

People are going to need a place to exchange coins for cash. They're not just going to want to barter for food or goods.

It is indeed good news. Hopefully it'll have a knock-on effect and other operators like Skrill and Ukash will jump on board. Still waiting on Paypal to finally accept bitcoin, though.

Re: Is Regulation The End For Bitcoin?
by
Manic Street Preacher
on 13/03/2015, 11:24:24 UTC
Depends on the level of regulation. If it's insanely taxed and you have to jump through hoops to use/spend/sell it then maybe, but likely regulation will just be the same as everything else and expected. If it is to exceed as a currency then it's natural it will be regulated in some capacity.

Re: Bitcoin's Edge - How will bitcoin fight off competitors?
by
Manic Street Preacher
on 13/03/2015, 11:12:22 UTC
This is definitely a good question and I think one of these type of competitors could potentially hurt bitcoin. Though I think most people would not be for a governmental controlled or sponsored coin because one of the major advantages of Bitcoin is the decentralized nature of it. However, if one of these big players does try to put out a competing cryptocurrency it could certainly drive some of the bitcoin users away so it is good to think of how bitcoin would overcome these challenges.

Bitcoin can adapt. If an alt coin did come along that was better or had something unique and interesting bitcoin could very likely implement their code and evolve.

Well, to loosely paraphrase Andreas Antonopoulos:

"There are already hundreds of currencies, so what's a few more? There could be multiple successful cryptocurrencies."

Agreed. It's a free market, but I think we only really need bitcoin to be honest.

I'm day trading instead of holding for the long term. Because of low demand I can't see bitcoin moon anytime soon.

Still great market for trading especially the past few days! Smiley

But that could change quite drastically with some big or really great news. Plus if there's low demand like you say there's surely not much profit to be made trading right now.

It looks like some kind of reality show. I wonder why the victims are so passive before it happens and why they are ready to talk in front if the camera to help the terrorists to build their shit. Anyway, at the end you are supposed to die in a horrific way, so fuck them

I hear they use drugs or something, that will likely be why they're too passive to fight back properly, they do live in an area where it's okay to grow opium and such.

Where have you heard that? First I've heard of it, though there were reports they hadn't fed this guy for days. Most captives are probably just exhausted and have accepted their fate.

Re: Is it worth to buy altcoins?
by
Manic Street Preacher
on 05/02/2015, 12:25:28 UTC
It can be worth it but it takes time and patience to study and trade alts. I'd p[refer to stick with btc and hold that as an investment.

What goes up must come down though. Alt coins are only worth buying into early then dumping when you can. I personally don't bother with them anymore./
