What is the max coincap for 10k? Initially I thought I read 100 billion, but a few times I've seen people mention that there is no coin cap.

Can someone verify this? Please?

I totally agree with this. Please consider developing the multipool ASAP. We need to grow demand for 10k. A multipool is a great way to accomplish this.

This is a forum. Do you know the definition of a forum? Are you the moderator? No? Then kindly STFU and let people have their say. I am entitled to voice my opinion here like everyone else. I am not trolling or spreading FUD. I am trying to discuss possible solutions rather than "whining about people crying" You don't like my crying? Ignore me. It's as simple as that.

I know Bitsend has provided an updateon the future of Checkcoin, but if they want to keep their reputation intact, they will get Bittrex to host a buyback of the ICO for early investors who lost ALL of their investment at this point. It's very disappointing to see this happening to Checkcoin, but there is room for redemption and there is time to save the brand.

Bitsend, you must be more transparent now more than ever. If this doesn't go well, I don't think your company has much of a future in Bitcoin or crypto. Everyone has a bad taste in their mouth right now and it could have been avoided with better communication.

People need to take the time to read and understand rather than panic and react. Checkcoin isn't dead, this is just a little setback. We know who the weak hands belonged to. Now it's time to buy and support.

I still support the Checkcoin project and I encourage knowledgable people to reach out to Bitsend and help them get going on this. Yes the value of BTC is down but when Checkcoin succeeds, the price of BTC won't matter.

Let's all be logical  about this. If you support the coin, let's start throwing up ideas for solutions.

I'm very excited about Checkcoin. I've been floating the concept to my Geo caching friends and they love it. Can't wait for the app so we can start using it.

I believe this coin would be an absolute hit with stores small and large. I don't know about you guys but the longer I stay in a store, the more money I spend.

With Checkcoin faucets, I have incentive to stay in the store longer because they are technically paying me to stay around, and I can use that Checkcoin to purchase items in the store, or use it to discount my purchase. It's a win/win situation. It will get people back into stores whereas for the past decade or so, online shopping has dominated and less people are showing up in physical locations. Checkcoin will bring them back!

There are so many viable applications for this and I'm very excited to see more people taking notice. Checkcoin can bring crypto to the masses.

Let's try to get merchants on board with Checkcoin ASAP. They would do wonders for marketing the coin and spreading awareness among it's customers. I will get the word out to my merchant followers on Twitter, but I think we should start pitching to businesses as a means of marketing.

Dev can you please clarify something,

Due to wallet sync issues, I was unable to get my coins to Bittrex in time. Its syncing fine now, but will there be any other method for swapping the coins or am I just out of luck?

Anyway, glad to see so much interest in Vericoin. I just bought a few thousand and pointed some hash at the veripool.

Veribit is a very promising feature. With this, I can see Vericoin adopted by the masses as It is easier to obtain/create Vericoin than Bitcoin.

This site you speak of...CoinExd.com sounds like a deviant of getting Goxxd like in Mt. Gox. It might be the same guys who pulled another coin heist, but this time, made a joke about it with the name CoinExed

If you are new to crypto, i can understand. But sending your coins here to this obvious honey trap was obviously a bad choice. You should have really stuck with Bittrex or Cryptsy even. Gotta do research next time. CoinExed doesnt even come up on my search radar.

Truthfully, Iconic Expert is legit. His tips have made me some nice loot so far. I mean he could just not say anything about any coin, but I am grateful for his advice.

Regardless of what he may or may not have done, Iconic Expert isn't here to destroy the coin. I don't know the man personally, but actions speak louder than words. He runs raffles and giveaway's, promotes the features and incentives instead of just telling you to "BUY BUY BUY", and seems very intelligent about all things crypto..

All of these points are very clear and very right. Vericoin should be focusing on getting the coin used as a currency and developing a clear vision before working on features only elite crypto nerds would understand or want (block-chain 2.0, anonymity)  Features like VeriBit and VeriSMS are a step in the right direction, because it enables regular people to use the coin virtually anywhere. These features needs to be done and operational as of yesterday IMO.

Finally, there is nothing wrong with words of encouragement. Blind faith and devotion without regard to the facts is one thing (cheerleading), but letting people know you believe in their cause/project and offering constructive feedback does wonders. PLus it makes the dev's feel good for what they are doing. Imagine if you worked 80+ hours a week without a "thank you" or "good job, keep it up".

I believe in the Vericoin project, that's why I'm highlighting the points others have made, because those points serve to help the coin grow.

I backed up my wallet and deleted every trace of vericoin then reinstalled. It seems to be syncing further. Thanks for the concern. I'll let you guys know if I still have trouble.

Now for my two cents...

Vericoin is hands down one of the most ambitious projects I've seen in crypto. Veribit alone makes it worth while and ready for real world use. I would like to see us encourage more development and less entertaining of FUD on this forum. It's easy to get caught up with trolls (competitors) trying to FUD the coin to death. I have full faith in the developers to listen to the community, and seek help rather than listening to cheerleaders and trolls. There are a lot of knowledgable people here with great ideas and strategies. It would do the coin well to implement some of the strategies listed here in the thread.

This has the potential to be THE next big thing in crypto. We need to show our support to Vericoin and it's developers and get the word out. Ignore FUDsters and have patience.
