but my point is... with distribution all you have to do is release a 'hotfix' or patch, and you could theoretically be backgrond-mining across more than a million computers.
It would be little odd when computer is idling but GPU is at 99%.

Which pool do you use? Make sure that you use your worker user:pass combination and they are case-sensitive.

Is anybody getting LP updates from this pool? I used to have about 0.5% of stale shares until recently, but now it is about 2-3% and there're no messages about new work pushed through LP. I monitored network packets and it looks like I'm getting nothing incoming from LP connection, so this is not a miner problem. I wonder whether this is my local issue or anybody else is affected.
Its doing fine:

Hey, I was wondering -- running Phoenix: when my miner status line says number of shares accepted, and the worker status on the deepbit web site shows 40~ shares behind, who is right?
I would say deepbit is correct.
And pools hashrate is over 2000Gh/s

How long does it take to receive instant payment?
Well my payment took 8 mins from unconfirmed to confirmed. Usually its from 10 min to 1hr.

have posted elsewhere but no replies Sad hope this is allowed

Have set this on the bat file,

start /DC:\Program_Files_(x86)\Bitcoin\poclbm\poclbm.exe --host=deepbit.net --port=8332 --user=REMOVED --pass=REMOVED

but get this error every time;

Windows cannot find '--host=deepbit.net". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

start /D"C:\Program_Files_(x86)\Bitcoin\poclbm\poclbm.exe"  --host=deepbit.net --port=8332 --user=REMOVED --pass=REMOVED
should work.
[EDIT] fix'd

1st might be best for you. AFAIK 5850 membandwidth is 128bit, so it wont go for 256 and it is maxed if parameter not set. -v just gives some debug information which is not necessary.

Im not very good with *NIX OSs but i give a try:
Quote
     DISPLAY=:0 aticonfig --od-enable --adapter=all
      DISPLAY=:0 aticonfig --od-setclocks=800,300 --adapter=${1}
Why is there adapter=all if you only clock ${1}? And shouldnt there be --odcc (confirm clock)

A lightweight page is planned for low-resolution mobile devices like PDAs or iPhones. Do you have any suggestions on the displayed data ?

https://deepbit.net/m
(prototype, you still have to log in using main page)

Only worker tails are displayed, not full login names.
I would page like this:
