Bitcoin is a borderless currency and can easily penetrate into any country or region. The main challenge would be regulations by governments and financial institutions. And of course adoption. With greater scalability it could be come a staple means of making daily payments.

Bounty hunters, just like most investors are only concerned about the potential ROI (in this case hunters invest time and resources), and they are little bothered about the project, if the allocation is good and there's hype they go for it.
Also ICOs are very complicated, and it's almost impossible to predict which project would be good.
But you can see signs of which would not be.

very rear to see a good paying signature accepting the low members.

A good signature campaign, for example those which day in BTC are not ICOs, but establishments which has a project and could run unlimitedly.
And yes, they have limited participants and rarely accept Jr members, some take only as high as Sr members.

Re: Our future with Crypto

Just like fiat, Bitcoin is still plagued with the centralization, where a couple of hands holds the lion share of the entire supply and the rest, manages the rest.
And fiat is fastoving away from tangible cash, so people are being comfortable with not actually handling their cash to own it.
Bitcoin of course has lots of qualities which distinguishes it from fiat.

The market is unpredictable and attempting to chart it or draw a pattern or sequence is very unreliable.
The price is triggered by a lot of factors irrespective of the time or season.
We can only do the best we can with the little we have.

Always use google 2fa authenticator to log in on exchanges.

And note, that when using Google 2FA, you should always back up the code used to enable it, so you can access your account if you lose the device in which the Authentication app is installed.

You can also preferably use Authy which stores your data in the cloud where you can always retrieve it

Re: Will bitcoin go below $3000?
by

The $3600 support has been tested severally over the past few days, and I has held out comfortably. I think we can call that the bottom now, I s just temporary, we will need a longer period to fully ascertain.

If yes then what will be the main reason for it?
I don't see us getting below $3000, but if it does happen, I can't pick out one particular reason that would be responsible, the market is currently in a bad shape.

Re: Does Stock market crash effect the price of bitcoin?
by

Considering that Bitcoin price is currently pegged to fiat currencies, in particular USD, a crash would definitely effect the value of bitcoin, it's worth would reduce without reducing in actual amount of USD per BTC.
As for it's long-term impact of Bitcoin it would depend on other factors.

Re: That you think about decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges?
by

Banks have very robust systems and saving schemes, depending on which you go for you could even end up getting monthly, quarterly or annual return in your investments, I can call it that as you are saving for profit.
Where charges play a huge role is in making transactions, especially cross border transactions.

Some exchanges also charge significant transactions fees, even DEXs, and cryptocurrency is not suitable for storing up funds, it's volatile and unpredictable.

Re: We kick against scam in cryptocurrency but we still advertise them
by

But i'm with you, i think all icos should be banned, they are the new ponzi scheme

Bitcoin has created a large digital market which consists of thousands of alternative currencies which are also thriving, and some of them went down the crowd funding road and had an ICO.

They can't all be thrown under the same bus, the figures is almost holistic at times, as I commonly hear that 80% of ICOs are scams or failed projects. But there's always that minority, the 20% making a difference.

Nothing in your write-up suggests or remotely relates Bitcoin to being a scam.
Early adopters got in when there was no competition and no immediate profit valuation, others joined the bandwagon when the value became apparent and obvious.

As for the lost wallets that is no fault of the technology.

A drop of in number of miners would also create an opportunity for the existing miners as the reward per block would be shared among fewer numbers.
I don't think we at a calamitous drop yet, and it's definitely not the end of Bitcoin.
It would be interesting to see if there would be a significant increase in transaction cost.

... critics has even predicted the drop trend to go on for a while and bitcoin will not recover soon.

I disagree that the down trrns would continue for much longer, and we might be close to the support, whicj would hold out despite being testedultiole times.

As for when the market would recover, it depends on what 'recover is', I don't see it bouncing back soon to it's previous support.
And a bull run might well be much longer.

Re: How is Bitcoin "cheap" if its price is up more then 399 million percent?
by
Marcel666
on 26/11/2018, 11:20:05 UTC
Well, bitcoin does not have the same features as I had ten years ago, and it was a couple of months after it's launch the it actually had any value at all, after getting on it's first exchange.
The idea is, you can not start at the top, you do not expect bitcoin, a relatively unknown currency created by an anonymous developer to trade at anything but a few cents. The price consolidated over the years.
I wouldn't still say it's cheap those though when weighing it with my pocket, but compared to what it could be in a couple of years.

Whales can not create forks of bitcoin, only members of the Bitcoin core team can split the currency.
As for altcoins, there is currently no regulations and just about anytime next can create their own coin, or more commonly a token built on another platform

Re: Crypto Currencies today !

Maybe This Is The Reason That Cause The Price Of Crypto Falls Free
1. Latest SEC announcement
2. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Hard Fork
3. Bad News from NVidia

It's a combination of a lot of factors, I've heard of cheaper ASICs which makes mining per bitcoin cheaper, and effectively drops the value per Bitcoin. But that can not explain the current free fall. Manipulations from whales could also be a factor that is causing this current drop.

he who panics first, panics best. Wink

the thing about panic selling is this: if you know you're gonna do it, do it early. don't wait weeks or months because then you'll probably end up capitulating at the bottom.

Very true. Firstly it is not possible to actually not panic in the face of dropping prices and massive losses. But the decisions you make in that situation is what counts.

Durung a bearish market, Protecting your capital, would take precedence to profit maximization.

Re: Following daily speculation will only drive you mad

We are all told the general rule to invest what we can afford to lose, but in reality no one likes loosing any amount of capital. Of course we should never go all in, but there is no fixed range around 'what we can afford to lose',  I consider it to be, amounts that won't change our diaky pattern, or standard of living.

Investors should not be concerned about daily, intermittent price fluctuations and the accompanied price speculation.
Bit day traders can not escape the pressure of the market volatility, best to find a way to separate emotions when trading

The answer to many complex problems and situations faced by bitcoin is usually HODL, as most people repeatedly say. And it is not always, but in this current situation, hodling is the best option.
Especially if you have diversified your assets and have holdings in various alts, some of which may be doing well against bitcoin.
