There are legit and there are scam also but most of the ICO's are scam. You need to be careful in choosing ICO's to invest in.Be sure to do some research and read their white paper and know the people behind the project if trustworthy or not.
A lot of bad ICO is a fact. But do not forget that there are a lot of good projects. You just have to choose well and not to chase the incomprehensible benefits.

I have not used bountyhive till now so not aware of their operational model. Before that it is important to note that what are their arrangements for listing of projects for bounty management.
If they have projects that lists there and offer compensation in form of tokens, lets say out of 5% allocated for bounty management, 2% goes to Bountyhive or there may be an arrangement like projects pay compensation upfront in form of BTC/ ETH, and they do not have any stake later from bounty token pool.
In both cases, there are chances of malicious intentions but later is better. Ofcourse, you cannot ask a Cat to take care of your milk. So, if one thinks that they are not adequately paid for their work, they must back off. Unlike many thinkers, bounty hunting is not a freebie from any project. You work for spreading a word about a project which mostly at a very nascent stage in anticipation of payment which shall be made in future. The same work takes a lot of Fiat if outsourced to any other external aganecy.
So one must take a call before commiting your time (which is equivalent to money).

The price did dip below $8,000 USD but for a short time. Right now it is around $8,900 USD, which means that the price is to stay around $8,000 USD and chances of it going below is $8,000 USD is very low. I think that's a very good move by Facebook and Instagram. I saw a lot of scam ICO advertisement there, it was very annoying. I hope Google will follow same thing and we won't see any scam ICO advertisement in Google adsense/adwords spaces. They have to regulate ads to protect potential customers.

This is the biggest problem. People forget to do this and therefore lose their money. In the pursuit of x's, they will invest in all that is possible. Hence the need for regulation of the ICO. Then ICO will become even more attractive.
i don't believe that bitcoin can get up to 1 million USD in 2018 because, the rate at which most people are leaving the one that they have for investment purpose, and most people are changing there's to Altcoin, which have made the circulation to remain constant... the transaction rate alone have discourage most people to forget about it. so the growth of it into 1 million $ is not going to work in this year 2018
I think it will. This year will include large and major players in the market. I think so. And this is just my opinion. No wonder the market is now in such a dump. I think someone wants made a very good purchase.

A lot of ico, which took place in December / January, showed amazing results. Something like x5 x10 x12 on the etherium. But the failure was even greater, you just had to choose a project, look at the team, the idea, the project itself, at what stage of readiness, etc.
I would recommend looking at the Arcblock project but the whitelist is already closed;)

Yes, the project Arcblock I think will be quite successful. And will show a good growth initially, because not everyone will be able to participate in the sale. Therefore, people will buy when ArcBlock released on exchange
I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. 
Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. 
I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

Buy and forget that amount means you are putting your money to outside and do not care someone help you use that amount.

Well etherium has been voted the top crypto to to hodl during this round of excitement. It has a great looking chart and I can see why it is becoming less influenced by BTC. Long may it continue, i'm a big fan of ETH and Neo.

Etherium is just a fantastic platform and there are some really interesting new projects being released all the time. Etherium is here to stay.
Absolutely, if the team will do this year what they are going it will be just a bomb. The price will soar many times. I think we will see him around 2000-2500$
