According to their whitepaper, it is based on an inflation model. In short, when their ecosystem is well established and vitalized (when users began to be rewarded with TTC and can purchase goods with it,) the size of userbase will attract advertisers. So, though a finite amount of TTC is issued, there will be an increase in demand which will eventually jack up the price.

TTC Protocol Referral Airdrop Campaign Concluded
By the end of September 17 at 12:00 am, TTC Airdrops have been successfully concluded. A staggering 804,227 users participated from 25 countries, and the total airdropped amount was12,738,133 TTCs.
The Airdrop Campaign, which started on June 28, 2018 and ended on September 17, lasted nearly 80 days, was divided into three stages. In the final phase, over 500,000 people joined the referral campaign within just two days. This is a surprisingly explosive increase in participation regarding both the number of participants and its rate of increase, compared to other similar events. Such rapid growth indicates that tataUFO, the first DAPP of TTC, has gradually become popular worldwide.
However, during the airdrop, a small amount of abnormal traffic was detected in the background database. The rights and interests of normal users are the things that we value most, in order to protect these from being infringed, we will clear the malicious cheating users and ensure the fairness and effectiveness of the final results.
TTC Wallet will be launched within 45 days, thus, the reward TTC can be withdrawn by that time. However, per our updated whitepaper, you can use the airdropped TTCs to participate in TTC Protocol’s Consensus mining.
