I really do not know much but I believe bitcoin is made to be either a currency or a store of value or even both. I think other altcoins do not really offer that much and is just riding the tide of the new wave which is cryptocurrencies bought about by bitcoin.

I am not scared for this kind of scenarios has happened with every other new industry. There is always a hindrance specially around the beginning because they are fearful of things that are still quite unknown to them.

Yes you are correct but i think that you need to have atleast around 10 years before that happens. Also, btc will be the king for a very long time before bowing down to a successor.

I think there are better investment than bitcoin, but as of right now it is still the best investment in crypto along with strong coins like eth and ripple. In time some other good coins will dominate the sphere.

I do not think eth will drop to this very low price since there are cost issues to be considered like the mining equipment and the cost of running these rigs including electricity and manpower. But eth will definitely experience great volatility before it stabilize for mass adoption.

You might be mistaken about ICOs and failed projects being in same classification, a scam ico is one who from the very beginning has the intention of defrauding its investors and other stakeholders. A failed project is an ICO which unfortunately was unable to deliver on its promises due to various reasons. The same thing happens not only in ICO but in every investment as well. You might invest in a product but failed to capture the market, this is part of the inherent risks of spending. What you can do is to only minimize such incidents to a bare minimum for you to be able to profit from your investment.

I think it is better as of the moment to convert to fiat and place your money in other asset class which performs better. Also, it is wise to just observe the market in its current state and act once there is a highly positive event which can overturn things around.

There are laws which can be applied to ico scams. You may file estafa charges in your jurisdiction as long as the entity is within the powers of it. Otherwise good luck with filing those cases. They cannot be punished unless they are charged with cases.
