yeah, things would be way different if they had something working, like being able to spit out a js script and just have it work, but I agree with everything you said pretty much.
And I got out a long time ago. Who knows, maybe some devs can take it and make it functioning.
I think the biggest mistake was trusting a one dev team that didn't even write the code( crypti ) the project was cloned from.
There is one fork already, looks promising:

Fast notice, payouts from pool processed. Please don't mine on pool now, cause we will turn off pool server today night.

@altsheets I'll will fix that after moving pool software to new infrascructure. Smiley

All payments was processed a moment ago, future payments should be sent regularly (4h interval). Also we will fund the network with new nodes asap, because we still cannot keep more than 2 active connections.

WHO IS THE OWNER OF THIS POOL?
http://soil.4miners.net
The website works fine?
The fourth day no payout
Explain it please!

Hi, payouts are suspended because pool have connection with 1 peer only and it's not safe to process payouts in such circumstances. SOIL network is not reliable now, we are investigating. All miners shares are safe and hope will be payed out soon. Pool balance can be checked at: http://178.62.133.174:9001/#/address/0x406aa933569b6dc45ec5c239b89443405d8a0c5d

Attention miners who mine on shift-pool.com
Due to some connection issues (probably) pool shift-pool.com forked at block 762,751 and is on the wrong chain now. I tried to contact with pool admin, but he doesn't answer. Please switch your rigs to one of the pools that are on the longest chain:

Payments have been enabled and sent. We temporarly raised block maturity to 2000 blocks (about 20 hours). We will monitor the network, your minning efforts are secure.

As a result of recent issues we temporarly suspended payments from pool until we get green light from the SHIFT developers. They working hard to pick the best way possible for the curency. All miners will be credited according to their work regardless wich way devs will choose, so keep calm and happy mining. Cheesy

I also would like to thank the developers for the amazing game - http://game.shiftnrg.org, it was really enjoyable. It took me more than six hours to beat that. Cheesy Funds that I won will be used as reserve for the pool, current development and possible future rewards for miners. There will not be a dump. Wink

kr.4miners.net

In order to support Krypton network pool fee is now 0% until further notice, but we no longer pay uncles as full blocks. Uncles are payed normally. We also lowered payouts frequency to 1 hour.

  • 0% fee
  • Payments for TX fees are payed from pool pocket. Pool distributes all rewards gathered from mining, including TX fees and uncle rewards.
  • 0.25 KR Minimum payout threshold. Payouts run every 1 hour.
  • Static difficulty for miners: 2,000 millions.
  • PROP system. When block is found, the reward is distributed among all workers proportionally to how much shares each of them has found.
  • Strong dedicated server with failover and DDoS protection.
  • Support for Stratum and GetWork.

Happy mining. Cheesy

Might be time consuming, but can you maybe type the line above into your console?
success as I understand it, but then nothing happens

You can also use feature called static nodes. Just open:
Code:
http://soil.4miners.net/static-nodes.json
and save it to your data directory:
Code:
%AppData%\Soil
or
Code:
C:\Users\Disens\AppData\Roaming\Soil
then start gsoil.

Doing as you described. In the console nothing happens.Opened ports in firewall.Tried everything.Don't know what else to do((I repeat, wallet of Kryptone syncs without problem. So with the Internet and OS all fine.

Looks like gsoil cannot connect to network. Check if your system clock is accurate. Try enable debug logs by adding:
Code:
--verbosity 5
to the command line and maybe using different port by adding:
Code:
--port 12345

I was about to ask where the latest source can be found but it appears that the latest source is now on github.

I suppose the bitbucket repo and OP are to be updated soon.

Anyway, it's nice to see the update!

Is this now the official version or is it being tested?

Looking at http://stats.krypton.rocks:8080/ I see two versions in use.

Gkr/v1.1.3-8376a53b

https://bitbucket.org/gkrypto/go-krypton/commits/all

Gkr/v1.3.3-88fe99f6

https://github.com/covertress/go-krypton

EDIT...

Quick note if you're building on Linux with make...

$ chmod 755 build/flags.sh build/env.sh build/test-global-coverage.sh

Thank you very much for info where to find latest version, I upgraded to 1.3.3.

Hello,

In reply to:
http://bitcoinist.net/attack-krypton-dry-run-ethereum/

Dear @covertress, I kindly ask you to stop spreading lies that my pool was involved in 51% attack targeted at Krypton network.

Attack was performed 2016-08-24 around 20:27 CEST, when malicious miner (http://explorer.krypton.rocks/#/address/0x3476cac2670e87e237b738a54fdce381640e5c05) revealed his blockchain fork (174 blocks) that had more work and was longer about 59 blocks from the main chain. Blockchain reorganization took place and attacker's chain won. All work performed on Krypton network between 2016-08-24 19:25 CEST and  2016-08-24 20:27:52 CEST became invalid and lost. Here are logs:

I am also concerned about the development of the project. From where I can get go-krypton 1.3.3? I see that some of the pools already use it. Is it a version for the chosen ones?

Hello,

In response to:
http://cryptohustle.com/krypton-recovers-from-a-new-type-of-51-network-attack
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/krypton-recovers-from-new-type-51-network-attack-stephanie-kent?published=t

I strongly deny that kr.4miners.net had any connection with the 51% attack on Krypton network.

I double checked the logs and there is no trace of any security breaches on main and backup pool servers. Gkr instances was manually compiled from latest code (https://bitbucket.org/gkrypto/go-krypton). Code was not modified in any way and nodes run without interruption. Hashrate jumps over 51% alot of times since pool start (alternating with suprnova), and it's pretty common with low network hashrate coins. Of course, this is not desirable, but we make every effort to keep our servers secure for such cases.

Best regards,
4miners.net

The reason is simple: suprnova is not a reliable pool..I've been mining various coins on it..it has so many 'issues'...so, people go to '4 miners' because it's a great stable pool...we pay a lot for our equipment, who wants to waste it hashing on an unproductive pool??

Then i can inform u that 4miners cloned miners-zones software .. and are pretty unkown and new.

This pool is a clone 100% copied and stolen NO ONE SHOULD TRUST 4 miner

We didn't steal anything. We run modified version of https://github.com/sammy007/open-ethereum-pool which is licensed under GPLv3. We even left the original footer and dev donation address.
And each one pool was once unknown and new... Smiley

New Ethereum Classic Mining Pool:
etc.4miners.net

  • 0% fee until end of month, probably much longer.
  • Payments for TX fees are payed from pool pocket. Pool distributes all rewards gathered from mining, including TX fees and uncle rewards.
  • 1 Ether as minimum payout threshold. Payouts run constantly (every 1 minute).
  • Static difficulty for miners: 2,000 millions.
  • PROP system. When block is found, the reward is distributed among all workers proportionally to how much shares each of them has found.
  • Strong dedicated server with failover and DDoS protection. Low latency and fast propagation.
  • Support for Stratum and GetWork.
  • We currently run parity 1.4.0 with --chain=classic.

Happy mining. Cheesy

Hi Mariuszeq,

that's great, thanks a lot!

The description says "0.25 KR Minimum payout", how much is that for SHIFT?

Edit: Added to OP.

Thank you, description fixed.
