Cryptopia was hacked at this week. Cryptopia informed NZ police and there for hacking is being investigated under police investigation.
I dont think cryptopia will open doors soon since it seems that lots of coins were hacked.

No you don't have to do to your coins anything. Just let them be there. Once new wallet is released you have to copy from old wallet file called wallet.dat to safe. After that you copy it to new wallet. There will be instructions to let people know how that is done so dont worry if you didn't understand.

current year has been rough for Bitstar coin. Both Bittrex and Poloniex delisted us on spring from their exchanges after hitting record price on poloniex of 0.040603usd.

After hitting record prices at poloniex they decided to delist us and many other coins which caused many traders to go suspicious for poloniex as realiable partner. They started to loose ground as number one exchange and lot of that trading volume went into bittrex making it as number one in volume. Currently i believe binance has become number one in trading volume.

After that delisting we saw lowest price in of 0.00468usd and price started to recover thanks to bitcoins huge bull run. But through this year price has been going lower in Bits/BTC pair. We came down from delisting price of 3000satoshis to 96 satoshis which is compareable to multi year lows at 2014 around 75satoshis (there were dip of 17 satoshis which i dont count in).  

With now beeing on brink of releasing new wallet we can see some interesting price action.

Price has bottomed out from multiyear lows!

So price in btc terms has started to recover and is sitting on 180-220 sats and we are also currently well above lows in usd terms of 0.03484usd per coin. Not bad at all!

Now on my opinion i believe we wil see new highs of bitstar in few weeks and maybe even very huge bull run. If we get to btc pair highs of 3000sat that would make bits price to be as high of 0,47usd with current bitcoin price of 15800usd per coin.

That's is old wallet that has been there since bitstar was delisted from bittrex for users to be able to send coins off exchange. Merry Xmas.

Hi! There is not any problem with wallet. There are few things you can try. Firstly add to %appdata%\bitstar\bitstar.conf file following lines:

addnode=164.132.19.178:62123
addnode=217.182.170.173:62123
addnode=109.169.71.17:62123
addnode=86.61.6.123:62123
addnode=223.134.230.204:62123
addnode=79.137.126.63:62123
addnode=172.116.88.221:6212

These are nodes that are  connected to cryptopia exchange bitstar wallet.

Secondly if your syncing takes long time you may consider using fast start pack from last april provided by bitstardev.

remove everything else but wallet.dat and bitstar.conf from %appdata%\bitstar\. You should take backup copies both of wallet.dat and bitstar.conf.

after that unpack faststart pack into %appdata%\bitstar\

after that restart wallet.

morning all, good news the data from the scan yesterday was imported into the wallet and created a first block with all of the transactions going to right place, this effectively turned a approx 3 gig block chain into a 54kb block chain and means we will have the new chain with old privkeys as we wanted

well we do want to test a bit more, im away for just over a week now (will be checking messages and emails periodically) so will test more today and when i get back then we can give them all a block number to swap from, so the wallet will be ready for the end of the month, then we best give exchanges 2 weeks notice so we can make sure it goes without a hitch

As of for exchange that works in altcoinmarket is this right publicity that you want? Bitstar coin dev has contacted your exchange with no response for coming hardfork of their wallet. Are you compromising user funds by ignoring that or are you cooperative exchange?

From bitstarcoin website bitstarcoin.com you can use mediafire link and download windows client. Also links on OP you can find downloadable wallet. Current wallet works fine with staking for coins. Few pages back you can find link to faststart pack posted by bitstarcoin and unpack it to bitstarcoin folder at %appdata%\bitstar\

We had brief discussion on our slack just yesterday with bitstardev. Hes main update regarding project was this:
