Re: What would you say to the younger generation?
by

Tell the younger generation that this is their world and that the tools to make this world better is already available for them to use.
They have to be more proactive to take actions!

physical cash will be no more for all countries in the future. it is wasteful to print dollars and to manage the entire physical money supply.

Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency?
by
Martinkuhn
on 23/04/2018, 02:03:38 UTC
Bitcoin will always be here as the top cryptocurrency for storage of value but the blockchain has greater potential than just a store of value.

So we will see ETH and NEO taking up first place for smart contracts.. but BTC will still be around.

While KYC's main purpose is to ensure that the ICO team do not issue token to people in jurisdiction that are not supposed to take part in their ICO, and to also make sure that they are aware of exactly who is buying into the ICO (so that the ICO can adhere to govt rules and be able to do business in the jurisdiction they are in), one of the other good purpose of KYC is also to be a AML measure too.

Re: Is it a good buying price for bitcoin?
by
Martinkuhn
on 22/04/2018, 10:46:23 UTC
At this price, bitcoin can be considered to be cheap. Institutional funds are buying in at this same price now cos they also see BTC at much higher price point eventually.

I am accumulating BTC slowly for the past 1 month. Smiley

I have been following their developments closing for some time.

I do believe that Tezos will be issuing tezzies in a few months or maybe a few weeks time.

Just keep the faith.

There are multiple trains.

You have missed the BTC train but there are many other trains that have yet to blast off.

You can still get into the action if u act now.

Re: Would a world war affect the price of Crypto?
by
Martinkuhn
on 14/04/2018, 13:35:57 UTC
A world war? In this day and age, we have made many economies and states mutually dependent on each other and all-out world wars like WW 1 and 2 is unlikely to happen.

What we are likely to see are small-scale insurgencies but of course if NK go ballistic, maybe we will see a large scale war.. but even in that scenario, a WW is unlikely.

anyway.. in a war, cryptos are likely to increase in price as state-backed currencies will become unstable. Cryptos can easily allow anyone to bring their wealth with them and will be bought by many who feel that their security is threatened...

Re: I have 69 ETH, What to do?
by

on 14/04/2018, 09:37:22 UTC
Buy more ETH while it is cheap. It will be triple or more before the end of 2018.

I think you should also diversify and buy some NEO as well. It will go the same way as ETH..

90% of US dollar carry traces of cocaine...

USD is the best currency to pay for illegal activities. It is untraceable and totally anonymous. Even better than Monero Tongue

At this juncture, there is no way anyone can stop bitcoin. It has become so pervasive that it cannot be stop.

The world has to accept that bitcoin is here to stay and cryptos will be the new currencies.

Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility?
by
Martinkuhn
on 08/04/2018, 12:08:09 UTC
$10k is a definite possibility but I would say that the near term target of $3k would be something to shoot for.

10k may come in a few years when scaling is completely solved.

In the meantime, when POS is delivered, we will see ETH above 2k and hopefully touch 3k.

there are many altcoins that I would not touch and this present market is eliminating them.

For those altcoins that has potential to change the world, we do not have to worry. Time will heal the market and their price and we will see the growth of crypto beyond 1 trillion in 2018

My plan is to keep accumulating NEO(under $100) and Eth(under $500) and BTC (under $7000).

I will also be buying a number of ICO coins that has viable business model. These I will hold until 2019.

Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever
by
Martinkuhn
on 08/04/2018, 10:28:55 UTC
exchanging bitcoin for fiat may seem counterproductive but when bitcoin reaches 20k, I believe we will see a fair number of people start selling bitcoin to get back some profits.

I think that is not something to be ashamed about. As an investor (and believer in crypto), securing some gains while holding the rest of your bitcoin for even more gains is a shrewd move.

So do sell some and enjoy yourself. But keep most of it for the future!

bitcoin will not be able to help anyone... it will be the people who have benefited from bitcoin and who has the heart to pay it forward.

All of us should do something for our world and give some of our gains to those who are lesser off than us..

Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency
by

I wont say bitcoin is becoming a global currency but it is getting more recognized by everyone in the world.

At this moment, with the drop in price, a lot of people are worried about the future of bitcoin and crypto but soon the confidence in bitcoin will be back.

In the future, we will see cryptos becoming an asset that everyone globally wants to own.

Re: Do you still support Ethereum?

Ethereum has lead the blockchain and cryptocurrencies world towards smart contracts. It is continuing to innovate..or should I say the Eth community, lead by Vitalik, is advancing ethereum and making sure that ethereum continues to be relevant for the future.

There will be other smart contract blockchains but ethereum has proven to be able to innovate fast and I believe that Eth will be one of the top blockchains in the world.

Litecoin has always been hanging on to the coat tails of Bitcoin..

I do not think it will disappear so long Bitcoin continue to exist.

But there needs to be more developer teams working on its development.. else its value may not go much higher than today's.

Re: Will BTC and large coins recover?
by
Martinkuhn
on 04/04/2018, 10:15:57 UTC
When everyone is selling and crying "Sky is falling" .. it is the best time to buy.

I guess we are entering into this phase and cryptocurrencies are beaten down so much that everyone has lost hope.

perhaps this is the best time to buy.

For me, I am accumulating ETH, NEO and altcoins weekly. I doubt i will see them this cheap in the future
