Yeah exactly, they should think about their existing customers too Tongue
They already make money with active users, so they give something for free to inactive users to make them active again, so that they can make more money. No point in giving active users the same benefits as they are already doing what they want. It's not personal, it's business.  Grin

Me too, you should have received an email telling that you didn't trade for a while and that's for giving you the opportunity to try out their new trading platform.

I am not going to invest in any more Altcoins but looking into some promising ICOs instead. I like the idea to support projects that help generate renewable energy instead of wasting energy, which is why Swytch and Robotina especially caught my eye. Other than that maybe some more ETH are a good idea.

Are you sick of investing in ICOs with your hard-earned money, only to be dissapointed by dishonesty and selfishness of others? If you are, do yourself a favor and check out MarineCo.in. MarineCoin(MTC) is the world’s first dev-less cryptocurrency independent of the control and influence of miners and developers. 98.5% of total supply is being given away for free of charge, although it requires proof of promotion work from you. The best part of this project is that it is already developed, and ready to be used for IoT uses. With the help of artificial intelligence called Jarvis, Marinecoin will be a self sustaining currency for many generations to come. The ICO has resumed and it incorporates the technology of the AI within the Marinecoin system. Check it out for yourself, and feel free to join the community on discord or telegram if you have any questions!

If you use powered risers, you don't need to use the MOLEX at all. Then there is no question of "which PS should be attached to which MOLEX" on the MB.
Does that mean either using powered risers and no MOLEX, or passive risers with MOLEX will lead to the same result?

(I don't have that board, just curious)

Firstly I`m always ask myself why developers need a blockchain? It`s kinda weird when I see a diary on the blockchain. Who will invest in this project?
Exactly, this is getting totally out of hand, everybody thinks everything needs to be done on a blockchain, which is why all those projects mushroom like crazy. There may be a select few that make sense and have a promising future, but for the majority I can not see where all of this is leading to. To weed out and find the select few is the ultimate challenge.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place. They are on Pre-ICO stage right now, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0
They are not in Pre-ICO stage, but already in the 2nd round (now with only 50% discount instead of 75%).

I really would like to catch a promising project in it's Pre-ICO phase to make full use of the max benefit.

You mean the ASUS Mining P106, right? Without digging deep, what's the difference with that one so that it can run on shared PCIe lanes?

With part of all the ICO craziness being scam, the majority just having concepts but no working product, a lot of good ideas but questionable business viability, I'm pretty lost with what to look at. Anybody can come up with an idea and a whitepaper, even contact to devs and looking at their history is something that doesn't reveal if this will be something for real or just quick cash for the team behind it. I'm following a handful of projects right now, but I'm very skeptical.

So after some more reading, I'm now rather considering the Gigabyte B250 instead of the Asus B250 Mining Expert, because shared PCIe lanes are just no good idea.

So what's the catch to be running more than 12 GPUs on the Asus B250? You have to be running GPUs from Asus for the remaining 7 slots, right? If doing it with 12 x GeForce 1070 + 7 x Asus, can it be really running stable?

Marinecoin ICO is still running and distributing 450000 Coins to eligible users for free. Payment is done within a 24 hour time frame. So no need to wait indefinitely for receiving your money. Besides that you can choose between classic wallet or paper wallet transfer. Making it more secure for people that are new to the crypto world and trying to find a save entrance point. Go to https://marineco.in/ico if you like to be a part of the community.
Though Marinecoin is an interesting approach, it's not a regular ICO to participate as an investment since they are giving out the coins for free (well, not entirely free, you have to contribute your time for their Proof of Participation). Sure thing to keep an eye on, but I'd rather get more info on something for investing here.

There is just too much going on right now, so I have decided to set myself a limit of 3 projects to keep an eye on. I am currently looking into the following ones:

If anybody has an opinion to share about these, please let me know.

Here is the first rig, building two more.
Nice rig! How did you come up with the dimension for this one? I mean, the GPUs are fixed with only one screw (which not really retains it in place) on the upper beam, and the weight is just sitting on the lower beam? How does cooling work out this way? Needs additional fans, no?

I went with wood, currently holding 4x 1080ti & 4x 1070. Mark off your first 8' 1x2: 36", 2x 7", 2x 11", 2x 11.75", approx no waste. Mark next 8' 1x2: 36", 2x 12.5", and you're left with ~35" piece for under risers. Wood cost $3, oak plywood $6, closet bar $4. You need 1 1/4" screws and I paid $1 for the wood rod. If I did it again I would actually use wood glue instead of staring at the bottle the whole time. Metal would be better, but this took me 2 hours max.
Wow, nice build, cheap and simply. I think with regular vacuuming it should not be necessary to wash the rig down (which would have been the main advantage going for a metal structure). Working with wood just seems easier. Will have to take a look.

Are there any recommended websites that do reviews of upcoming ICOs? I just don't have the time to dig in deep and read all the whitepapers and available info, so it would be great if there would be a source of information that does the "dirty" work beforehand.

New ICOs mushroom like crazy and it seems to be extremely difficult to determine if one is scam or not. It's just too time consuming to do proper research, so I welcome efforts of others doing the "dirty" work.
