Having been in this thread longer than most, I can tell you that it's always a bullish sign for Dash when the hangry concern trolls emerge from their caves.

SegWit, Lightning, RBF in Dash?
The community and newcomers to Dash keep asking about the future of Dash when it comes to technologies and solutions which are often discussed in other Cryptocurrencies. Weve seen these questions appear in our forums, Reddit, Discord and also in real-life meetings with other Dash and crypto fans.
This blog post is my personal understanding and opinion on these topics. However, from the many discussions we had internally, I feel that most Dash developers would agree and that we have some consensus on this.
It is understandable that these topics get so much attention from the outside. Many of these solutions were sold as the next big thing which would solve many of the seen problems and limitations in cryptocurrencies, especially in Bitcoin. https://blog.dash.org/segwit-lighting-rbf-in-dash-9536868ca861

Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency
Dash and Monero are at comparable volumes right now, I question which one will certainly win, from the head to head battle. best to become diversified though
Two totally different projects nowadays. Monero is still focused on fixing their privacy issues whereas Dash is focused on mass adoption scaling and being easy to use digital cash.
Monero has not had the best of luck in the privacy department latley....
A well-respected cryptographer earlier this year released a tool called http://www.monerolink.com, where you can link all transactions from 2014-2016 with 100% (due to blockchain timing analysis apparently), and all transactions from 2016-2017 are linkable with a probabilistic distribution dependent on mixin size. So they have a table on the site, 1 mixin transactions are linkable 86% of the time, 10+ mixin transactions are linkable 22% of the time. Monero has fixed this bug since January of this year, but if you used monero on a DNM between 2014 - Jan 2017, BEWARE!

What is the next big thing from the Dash dev team? On what stuff is the dev working at the moment? Can we expect something big in the near future? I ask because the price need something to get pushed again.
First evolution version coming at the end of this summer. Before that, I do not expect any big news. Ane Evan the founder left heading the dev team, he is now only advisory position on the dev team list. I do not know if he is working on a project or having some leisure time, no news, no trace from him for nearly one year.
Evan is living in Hong Kong and heading up Dash Labs. He is working on open source hardware for masternodes and miners that will decrease centralization and increase transaction capacity.
I believe he is back in AZ now. His last major update was a few months ago on medium and he post on reddit every once in a while.

Maybe for fairness you trollero clowns should also be showing a video of trolleros crippled mining code when it first launched... That basically did the same thing... Or the broken anon of Monero. MONERO=TROLLS=GOOF FOR DEVELOPER, FLUFF PONY, THAT HAS MANAGED TO GET HIS OWN PROJECT DELISTED FROM SEVERAL EXCHANGES.
Monero community members...the cancer of the CryptoCurrency community. Sad.
Icey won't be singing his praises long, that kid has said he is working on a monero scam video next. I have provided him with the facts so we'll see what happens. He is bcash guy and going after any perceived competition. His Dash video was mostly full of old debunked FUD but i found his LN videos to be pretty accurate from my research. Icey is a big LN fan so he must not approve of those.

no. there are better, safer solutions than POS. last i checked POW based collatralized mining was on the roadmap at some point. you get the same benefits as POS (energy reduction) but without the risk, and you maintain all the monetary and security advantages of POW.

Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency
Since everything this coin has to offer relies on masternodes, which require a hefty amount of coin ownership to operate, nothing could more critical when considering the security of this network than coin ownership distribution. Especially if certain entities own 1M+. Literally violates the satoshi dream in every way possible.
The biggest Dash whale was otoh who owned 420 Masternodes (420k Dash) but sold all but around 100 of them this year. His friends he sold them to are very happy right about now i'm sure. The only person I know that has a 1M+ coins is satoshi and his bitcoins.
What is this coin into and for what reason would it be a good idea for us to be keen on putting resources into this coin are a portion of the inquiries to be replied before making a venture?
Dash Force MVP Contest Winners November: Reddit Edition
Once again we will be honoring community members who have been instrumental in helping Dash on Reddit. They spend many hours posting high value comments, fighting trolls and helping new and old community members alike. For that reason we have dedicated the November MVP to them.
Without further ado, this months winners are
solarguy2003
goto1415
Jmmon
FranktBunny
Fount4inhead
Congratulations to all the winners, you will each receive .5 Dash!
With the rise in the Dash price it looks like I will need to lower the MVP prize yet again, these guys have spent countless hours supporting Dash and earned every Duff though. Next month it will be lowered to .25 Dash.
The meetup pricing will also need to be adjusted next month. These are good problems to have!
"yes, having one guy own a 1000 nodes in 5 amazon hosting locations is decentralized."
Still FUDing after all these years.

Dash Sponsors the Belgrade Venture Forum and Smart City Challenge
Dash has sponsored two additional events in Serbia, the Belgrade Venture Forum and the Smart City Challenge, to expand its reach in the local IT sector.
A recent proposal was passed to have Dash sponsor both events, including booths and materials, as well as continued meetups in the region. Dash Serbia organizer Nebojsa Jovic seeks to expand Dashs awareness outside of the dedicated meetups that have been held so far:
After a first successful event and meeting with Đorđe [ĐorĐević], who, after organizing blockchain events, showed great interest in Dash, we wanted to use the opportunity of the Belgrade Venture Forum and Smart City Challenge to introduce Dash to wider audience outside of our dedicated meetups.
Starting with the Belgrade Venture Forum in November, after coming back from [the European Students for Liberty conference in] Vienna we are planning to teach attendees what is the Blockchain in general, Dash and all its features and potential use cases. The Smart City Challenge to provide a Dash prize to contestants https://www.dashforcenews.com/dash-sponsors-belgrade-venture-forum-smart-city-challenge/

Dash to Sponsor FintechWeek, Integrate into House of Nakamoto
The Dash network has funded a sponsorship of Fintech Week in Hamburg, as well as a full integration into the House of Nakamoto in Vienna.
Fintech Week is a several day seminar in Hamburg, Germany dedicated to education and exposure to financial technology, including digital currencies and blockchain technology. The proposal to fund Dashs presence at the conference passed overwhelmingly, 701-30. According to the proposal owner, Jan Heinrich Meyer, most of Fintech Weeks attendees are familiar with cryptocurrencies, but not necessarily Dash:
No but there are workarounds. I have heard people use 3rd party services to drop ship from america to South Korea ETC. Not sure how it works though.

Dash Morocco Completes Dash School Arabic Intro, Two Meetups, on Limited Funding
The Dash Morocco team has completed its initial objectives despite a snag in original organization and funding.
Originally funded by treasury proposal, the Dash Morocco team aims to promote education on, and use of, Dash in their country, as well as the greater Arabic-speaking world. To this end goal the team has created a series of videos modeled after Amanda B. Johnsons Dash School, but in Arabic, as well as conduct several promotional meetups and contests. According to team member Osama, reception has been good so far: https://www.dashforcenews.com/dash-morocco-completes-dash-school-arabic-intro-two-meetups-limited-funding/
