Re: PhoenixMiner 6.2c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
by

on 25/05/2022, 14:30:24 UTC
The new beta version is ready. It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.3b from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Linux.tar.gz

The new features in this release are:

  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no

  • RTX 3060 LHR       ~ 50 MH/s
  • RTX 3060 Ti LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 Ti LHR       ~ 81 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 10GB LHR   ~ 98 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 Ti LHR       ~ 120 MH/s

  • Dual mining TON
  • Fixed an issue with expired SSL certificate that led to "certificate verify failed" errors when connecting to some pools (notably Ethermine) when using SSL connections
  • Show the GPU vendor name in the list of GPUs to make it easier to identify the GPUs
  • Added support for the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1. There are some bugs in these drivers, particularly the clocks and voltages can't be set properly with older
    cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII)
  • Validated support for the latest AMD Windows drivers up to 21.11.2
  • Fixed issues with AMD RX6700XT cards with the latest AMD and Linux drivers
  • Fixed issues with AMD Vega and Radeon VII cards on latest Windows and Linux drivers
  • Fixed crash with very old Nvidia drivers (3xx.x)
  • Other fixes and small improvements

Known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:

If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer cards on the same rig.
Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

Re: Any one have the pcb files for usb block erupters or any antminer usb's?

Wouldn't it be possible to DIY the full project? I.e. you don't need to start with a USB block errupter to get the design, but you could make one out of microcontrollers couldn't you?

I could be way off, but this is something that's sat in the back of my head for a while now, just never really looked into it. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Not a scammer, I was just trying to get it quickly last night. All is good though and I resolved the problem in a bit more expensive, round about way (virwox, fees are ungodly but you can't argue the speed)

Would it be ok to combine multiple PSU to power a Bitmain S1?
by

on 23/09/2014, 10:25:02 UTC
Title states it.

I have a Bitmain S1 coming in off of ebay, but do not currently have a single power supply powerful enough to run it. I do on the other hand have a couple power supply's that are spare that I can combine to power it. Would this be an ok and logical temporary fix?

Okay basically it's to do with Network Marketing. Didn't post cause people dismiss it straight away but it really is a great opportunity to make some extra cash. Watch this video and it will explain more. Please don't tell me it's a pyramid scheme because that is just down right wrong haha! http://youtu.be/EcgOWxH1DNY

fake youtube link + you say it's not a pyramid scheme means it is probably a pyramid scheme and no salary for the work so I am not interested Wink

Could you please enlighten me on what a fake youtube link is? I just pulled this off youtube so if there is something wrong with it please let me know.

Also, I only bring up pyramid schemes because that's the first thing negative people go for.

This type of stuff isn't for everyone. It will work for some and it won't work for some.

I can understand why you wouldn't be interested.

A lot of people dont know about the youtu.be feature, and so the regular link to the video would be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcgOWxH1DNY

The title pretty much says it all. What would I have to do around the forums in order to start an escrow service?

How should I gain trust and what routes should I take?

We had to read Go Ask Alice in high school. I was quite amazed.

I've heard of that before. I'll definitely put it in the list to get.

Oh well in that case no wonder, to me I think private tuition is the way to go, but I learned all my history and economics looking through stuff on the internet, there's tons of resources if you know where to look, I've posted stuff up myself. I don't know what your teacher had planned giving you a book like that but making the legalisation and criminalisation of certain goods in an economy always drastically affects the price, since there are a hell of a lot of drugs either highly restricted or made illegal pharmaceutical companies make millions off essentially state sponsored trade.

He's a... strange teacher. I found out the sole reason he assigned the book over the summer (other than of course getting us to read). I brought it up to him that I had come across Aldous Huxley while doing some research on psychedelics (of course I didn't tell him specifically what I was trying to find...haha) and he told me that I had found the reason he assigned it. He just wanted to see if other students would look more into the book or author and get the wow factor as to why he assigned it.

You get taught economics in high school? Consider yourself lucky to be taught anything or get to read anything interestng! All we got in my school were stupid incorrect snippits of what governments wanted us to believe in like "They printed money to help boost confidence in the markets but it didn't work" bullshit, got taught some basic history about what happened in vietnam and stuff but that's about it.

I take some honors classes that aren't offered in most schools. So I'm not really sure what the rest of the students learn at my school, but we have a pretty good class that's economics / political science / government combined.
