To be honest, I try not to withdraw at all now. In my opinion, now is not the best time for this. I still feel like it's not worth it now.
It's still not worth it to withdraw my bitcoin, I still have funds to myself and for my daily needs so I'm not worried about my bitcoin. If you have extra funds, thats good but remember don't forget to take care your life, if you have nothing else but bitcoin then withdraw it, don't make your life worse!

Re: Who can borrow me 1bitcoin?
by

on 15/04/2023, 07:45:10 UTC
I know this post is funny, lol even myself it amuse me but since people borrow everything in life like lands, cars, crude oil, loans, gold and silvers, I know is possible for someone in this forum to borrow me one bitcoin, when the price double I will return your own back with interest. Don't laugh me, help a brother also to own bitcoin since I can not afford it, let me beg for it from cheerful givers and charity bitcoiners.

Lol. I know this is hard to do post but if wishes are horses I will love to have one.
It's already 2023 bro, you can't just borrow a bitcoin just like that and that so high. I know it's funny but you can't get money or borrow a money just like that. You need to make your money just by yourself. We know it's hard to get money, tired of a whole day work, no rest because you have early schedule. It doesn't mean that you don't work because it's hard. If you have nothing else to do, you can't have your desire money or bitcoin. You need to work hard or else you'll life will be bad and you will not get bitcoin. Hope you understand this but this is the reality my guy, cheers for you!

Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin.

on 15/04/2023, 07:32:09 UTC
maybe in developed countries you could say it's normal if they don't pay too much attention to btc, right' because they are definitely busy with technology.

but in my opinion education about cryptocurrency we should find out because if we don't find out when will we get quality cryptocurrency education.

because for now there are very few schools that teach about crypto.

There's a school that teach about crypto? That's nice, I didn't know that. Cryptocurrency is for everyone but don't just invest or trade without knowing what you investing, you need knowledge about cryptocurrency, how to trade, know the risk and reward and others stuff, If you invest without knowing that you really lose such money, that's bad because you don't know how cryptocurrency works so before everyone enter in crypto world, make sure you research or you have knowledge.

Re: Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry
by
MaterialMouse69
on 15/04/2023, 07:15:38 UTC

We know gold is very precious metal, but Bitcoin is much more expensive than gold. Bitcoin will cross $100k after halving in 2024 ie if I invest $3000 in Bitcoin now then there is a chance of getting 10x after 2024. If I get $30000 from investing $3000, nothing can be as valuable as Bitcoin. I explained this formula to my wife at night and she was not willing to give me her jewelery at first but today she told me by herself that you can sell my jewelery and invest in Bitcoin. At present I am forced to sell my wife's jewelery as I have no fiat money.
I seek advice from expert investors/holders/users of this forum,,,,
whether selling my wife's jewelery and investing on bitcoins makes sense?
Is it reasonable to invest in gold rather than bitcoin?
The question here is does your wife agree with this?
It is her jewelry and she might consider it as something more valuable than money because of the memories that she had on those jewelry.
There are times that money couldn't overvalue those things so you should also consider it.
For me if it is about the money then it could be worth it, but if it would somehow wreck your relationship then it is not worth the risk.

Maybe his wife agree on this, you just don't sell someone's jewelry if you have no permission. Let ask first before you sell because if you just sell it and your wife didn't know that you sell her jewelry and that jewelry is important to her, that will be worse and there's a chance that she will file a divorce and her life will be worse also. Investing bitcoin is very risky, don't rush your life just to make rich and you have no clue that bitcoin will drop. Try to think and understand what you're doing and don't rush yourself(for others who seen this post, this is for you also)

Re: It's alright to lose and learn
by
MaterialMouse69
on 15/04/2023, 07:04:01 UTC
It is alright.
It is normal
Moreover to lose and then to learn from the experiences that have big lessons about losing. This is because we need certain experiences to make us aware of what we are going to do.
The problem is when you are not learning from the loss and continuing the same mistakes, this will result in other losses again. This means that we don't learn from mistakes and take on experiences. That is why the ways you are doing after losing in crypto investment will really depend on how you manage yourself, especially your emotion in all parties, including in daily life.

Losing money is normal when it's come to investing, trading, and some stuffs but you can refer this as a lesson; you can't get profit always, some times it's you gain more profit and sometimes you lose more that you bet or invest. If you're newbie to this kind of investing or trading, you need to understand that you can't always win, there's a chance that you lose so make it a way to get more profit. Don't lose your hope when you lose, make it as a lesson.

Re: What can keep me more active here?

on 14/04/2023, 08:57:53 UTC
I really want to be here on a daily basis to learn and share knowledge with the forum members but I am not permitted by time to be here, which I believe it's because I really offer nothing here and I also do not seek for anything here.

Is there a possibility that I can do some jobs for people here with my time because I got alot of it this time. This could help me be more active here because if I remember that I have an unfinished task here I'll be compelled to login and do the job. By this bitcointalk.org will have big part of my dairy.

I do not have much skills but I can do the following;
1. Build a HTML website + css and tailwind css.
2. Javascript (next.js and a little of node.js); I'm still learning on this.
3. I can work as visual assistant
4. I can do any legitimate job with little training.
5. I can do any type of writing job(especially fictional, or when given a topic to write about)
6. The advantage I have is my availability, fast learning and willingness to learn.
7. I am not much concerned about the bucks, but atleast if I can keep my internet subscription going I'll be happy.
8. My goal is to be here almost on a daily basis and what something to keep me here.

Hello pal, you havea great knowledge about something that's so good. To keep you more active here, just read the pinned post here in begginers help, that's actually helpful for you and also try to read other post like in bitcoin discussion , you can learn about others experience about their life, crypto journey and other more, you just need to read and understand stuff my guy. have fun here pal!!

Re: Don't invest money you can't afford to lose out of greed.
by
MaterialMouse69
on 11/04/2023, 16:03:03 UTC

As a beginner, don't be overly eager to invest in any project without conducting your own thorough research.

Beginners can't do their own research, they don't have the knowledge and experience to do so. In fact most people should just stay away from trading and altcoins, it's a risk that is not worth it. Owning Bitcoin and holding it for long term is already a good investment. Alts are just a trap for greedy people.

That kind of people are being hyped by social media, they are not researching about that altcoins and  if they scam because they lose so much money, they will blame it to those who promoted that alt coins. I know that we can blame the one who promoted the altcoin, but have you been a research about that altcoin? are the portfolio is good and convincing ? or you just buy it because it's hyped? We need to know what are we buying or else you will lose so much money, DYOR(DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH).

Re: Do you still advised more buy and store?
by
MaterialMouse69
on 11/04/2023, 13:23:03 UTC
I was thinking new kind of plan to buy bitcoin every month from my salary immediately my company paids me but I still have other responsibilities to carry with family so am skeptical about it especially now that the price has no direction. If can afford storing every month in a long run I may realizes half of bitcoin unit and that's a big achievement to buy but to you is funny because you have enough of it. So advise me on what to do! Should I hold on because of the instabilities in price? Or I should buy and store? Over to you

You should divide your salary, first is to your family needs, daily needs and second for bitcoin. Just save the part of bitcoin and when bitcoin is dropping try to buy bitcoin in what you divide in your sallary. Best option is wait 'til the markets drop before you buy because if you buy when the bitcoin is green and buy again in the next month, you will lose some money. Don't rush yourself in investing, give time to your family and wait for the bitcoin's drop and buy it.

Your family first dude, cos I believe that's your major priorities but if you have spare cash you can buy but from the look of things don't expect any increase for now and at times even the money you use in storing might still disappeared because of the price situation. So the steps you wants to take is very nice one but I love were you mentioned your family, you're a good person. Please take your time to plan how to go out it but don't let it pressures you instead face one you can do per time.

Yes bro family first but you still need to save money for future, if you buy some unnesessary things your life will not improve. Try to divide, save and invest. Don't rush things and understand what you're planning

by
MaterialMouse69
on 11/04/2023, 11:34:12 UTC
Most persons purchase  most items using Bitcoin transactions I am of the opinion of hodling instead of spending pls is that a positive mindset?

For me, use your bitcoin if you badly need that or there's a emergency, if you still good and you still have extra money to buy your daily needs and for that i would prefer not spend your bitcoin. I know that spending bitcoin will help the market to be strong so all you need to do is to be strong no matter what happen, it's like surviving whoever surrender will lost and to those people who stay will will.

Re: Take good care of yourselves
by

on 11/04/2023, 06:40:58 UTC
Lol, having many Bitcoin and still being unhealthy is a very ridiculous act from anybody.you should make sure you are healthy don't forget  ''Good health is better than riches" how would it sound if you make all the money in this life and die before even having a taste of it???  Yea that sounds very stupid of a person.

It's really ridiculous, imagine getting bitcoin for a couple of years and still skinny.Let's make sure that our health and time for crypto is balance, don't priority your bitcoin over your health because oneday, once the bitcoin become super high and you are dying, the years you've been holding bitcoin will be waste because how will you use that if you died right ? So it's important to take care of yourselves/ourselves before becoming rich. Give time to yourself and accumulate daily needs.
But I feel wrong about saying that the government can kill bitcoin? in what way and how? The view that lies in me is that bitcoin will never die if electricity and the internet are still used on this earth.

It's possible that the  U.S.A government can kill bitcoin, not just bitcoin but all the crypto's I think. We should still care about this problem because if all of the government's in every country joined force together, it will became threat to us because cryptocurrency is our life and if they kill bitcoin our life will be worst. Hoping that their plan will stop, our world needs bitcoin and crypto currency  and it's really helpful to our world.

Re: are you a long time hodler?

as a fellow bitcoin investor, what strategies have you found to be most effective, to maximizing your returns while minimizing risk?

do you prefer to hold bitcoin for the long term or you actively trade based on market trends?

and what resources or tools do you use to stay updated on the latest news and analysis related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?(or you does not care about most of the news)

Hello pal, my strategy of being a holder is don't panic selling, if you see your charts is red, don't panic sell instead analyzed what the cause of red. Don't worry about your chart because you have trust on it and also you're a long term hodler

And make sure you study a lot risk reward ratio and win rate it applies not only in a simple trade but on every execution it matters and they're connected to each other. Don't expect much that every trade will work out that means you're prone to losing therefore you need to have a STOPLOSS everytime

as a fellow bitcoin investor, what strategies have you found to be most effective, to maximizing your returns while minimizing risk?

Long term hodling is more profitable compared to short term hodling the major challenge investors face in hodling is the tempt they face when the value of Bitcoins rise most are prompted to sell  which most will regret as the value increases exponentially
Therefore long term hodling is advised as you invest what you can loose freely in Bitcoin so even if value eventually drops you won't run into significant loss in your net Worth
Short term is very profitable but it can be also a risky. You must know the risks and rewards of each trade but in long term they are less risky than short term investment It depends if you didn't research about what you're holding but i prefer and it's required to research and study what you're buying or investing. I'm holding a part of bitcoin so i would suggest like what you said, you can loose freely in bitcoin so hang on it, don't panic selling in bitcoin have a trust on it !!

Re: Set your mind on your goals and nothing else
by
MaterialMouse69
on 10/04/2023, 03:12:01 UTC
I spent five years away from friends and family, because whenever I bring up how crypto can be life-changing they always discourage me, maybe because I lost some money to few trades and I was not that good at trading at the time, I got mad one day and I left the city and move to another city, because they won't let me be and they felt I will waste my life away.

Today, I now own a home and a nice ride, I was able to get married and settle down, but now they feel like they made a huge mistake for not listening to me. I believe this was the best decision I've ever made, I was able to gathered some BTC in 2019  to 2020 bear market and also with the help of my trading skills.

Only God knows what would have happened if I never left, my mind kept telling me to venture into crypto at the time and even my own family shut the idea down.

I don't know why and now they are asking for my help, I have to do it since they are my family, and even my friends are asking for help, would you help your discouraging friends if you are in my shoe? They were my friends, but not anymore, I believe friends should be supportive of each other, am I wrong.

If you are a crypto newbie, make sure you set your mind on your goals, do not be discouraged by anyone, people can't see the future, we are not gods or demigods who can read the future, do not listen to any naysayers.

if you're in a good position and you think you can support them in any way, it's best you do it, not because the are or were your friends but because we rise by lifting others and we aren't supposed to be nice to people because the where there for us.
I believe your family and friends didn't mean to discourage you in any way, perhaps the didn't trust the process and just wanted the best for you.

Treat them well please.

No matter how mad you are, how angry you are, your friends and family has a part in your life because you can't made decision or plan if you have no friends or family who has on your side. They think it's a waste because they don't know what the cryptos are, So the best that he can do is forgive them and try to connect again with your family and friends, be good with them

Re: Which is your ideal cryptocurrency? Why?
by
MaterialMouse69
on 08/04/2023, 14:42:48 UTC
We all know about cryptocurrencies and how they work. Everyone has their favorite crypto like I preferred bitcoin because there are lots of benefits of bitcoin, immediate settlement, greater liquidity, international transactions, security and direct transfer.

What you think about other cryptocurrencies?

To be honest, before I enter to cryptocurrency my first ideal cryptocurrency is bitcoin because my friend says that this bitcoin is called "digital gold" so I'm amazed and I start learning about crypto trading and how they work.

Some cryptocurrency is called altcoins "alternative digital currency to bitcoin" like ETHEREUM, SOLANA, SOLANA ETC. My favourite in altcoins is ETH(Ethereum) because you don't have to pay high transaction fees, and it has no centralized authority that can manage how this "digital gold" works. Ethereum has a lot of platforms, it enables peer-to-peer transaction and also its a long term like bitcoin.

Other cryptocurrencies is connected to bitcoin so if ever bitcoins drop, the whole market will be drop also.

Re: Do women engage in crypto trading
by
MaterialMouse69
on 07/04/2023, 17:26:59 UTC
Most persons may say no but YES is the actual answer
In the ideal sense the dominance of crypto currencies by women is in great progress. Bitcoin is  the most popular crypto currency and therefore a currency of such will be dominated either now or in the future.
Women engage in crypto currency transactions also like men do the reason you may feel they don't is because those that don't have not much idea about it.

Women can also engage in crypto trading, everyone's can trade and it has no gender included. I have many friends who's women, she's good in trading and also I learned something about trading because of her. In this era, not just men are interested to make money online or onsite, some women are interested like this crypto trading to make investment and income. This is the opportunity to make a profit since it's long term.

And gender or any race can learn about crypto trading, not just about crypto but some cryptocurrency related  Wink

Re: Don't get scammed
by
MaterialMouse69
on 07/04/2023, 11:23:48 UTC
People who are falling for all this kind of scam just lack cryptographic knowledge, and most of them are blinded by greed.
You don't need no "cryptographic knowledge" to realize that anyone offering you something that is good to be true equals scam. Good old common sense is enough, but unfortunately its not so common.

everyone needs this cryptographic knowledge since everyone's mindset is when investing something, they know they will have an instant income. Common sense is enough but can everyone's notice that? The only way to receive something like that is to ignore or block because you don't know who's that and also you have no information about that scammer.
Testimonies indicate that numerous people have had their accounts compromised and exploited for fraud, and that bitcoin frauds are growing and gaining a lot of attention.

seeing  some one posting how they made about 20k dollar by investing  in bitcoin over night they all try to convince  you to invest and to meet there mentor by clicking  on the bio on any social  media, once you click on the mentors page it looks so convincing  and legit with lots of post making  it look like a normal  person, the most important  thing  do not contact  any of this mentors once you do and you invest  then your money  is way gone. Since most people already  have a mind set of getting  rich with crypto currency, since the media  is making it look as if you can  get rich quick with bitcoin, scammers are taking  advantage  of the whole thing to steal money  from people. They even go to the extent of hacking  people's accounts  to scam and when it comes to the investment the will tell you not to send money to them directly  majority might ask for security details  to sweep away your funds. If anyone  start requesting  for logins of email  and any finance  app should be seen as a red flag. Most importantly do your own search before investing.
This is really bad when people who investing is so greedy, I hope everyone see this kind of scam so everyone can avoid or not getting scam. Most of the people is scamming and this is normal because every investment or anything that related to money have many scammer so be aware and try to research before investing money  Wink

Re: Another scam email attempt
by
MaterialMouse69
on 06/04/2023, 10:18:09 UTC
Today I was checking spam folder in one of my emails. Not the main one. I use this email address on low importance sign ups where I don't trust that website that much to use my main email. And I found maybe 40 messages send by same person between 12th and 21th of March. Here is full message that I got (removed password and BTC address from it:

Quote
Hi, today there are sadly some bad news for you.

Your device was infected with my private malware, your browser wasn't updated / patched, in such case it's enough to just visit some website where my iframe is placed to get automatically infected, if you want to find out more, Google: Drive-by exploit.

My malware gave me full access to all your accounts, full control over your device and it also was possible to spy on you over your cam.

If you think this is some bad joke, no, I know your password: *******

I collected all your private data and I RECORDED YOU (through your cam) SATISFYING YOURSELF!

After that I removed my malware to not leave any traces and this email was sent from some hacked server.

I can publish the video of you and all your private data on the whole web, social networks, over email and send everything to all your contacts.

But you can stop me and only I can help you out in this situation.

The only way to stop me, is to pay exactly 900$ in Bitcoin (BTC).

It's a very good offer, compared to all that horrible shit that will happen if I publish everything.

You can easily buy Bitcoin (BTC) here: www.paxful.com , www.coingate.com , www.coinbase.com , or check for Bitcoin (BTC) ATM near you, or Google for other exchanger.

You can send the Bitcoin (BTC) directly to my wallet, or install the free software: Atomicwallet, or: Exodus wallet, then receive and send to mine.

My Bitcoin (BTC) wallet is: ***************

Yes, that's how the wallet / address looks like, copy and paste it, it's (cAsE-sEnSEtiVE).

I give you 3 days time to pay.

After receiving the payment, I will remove everything and you can life your live in peace like before, don't worry, I keep my promise.

Next time make sure that your device got the newsest security updates.

ClientMailID: 6993041
Usually I don't pay attention to such messages, but there is one interesting moment - in few of his message he wrote one password that I really used in some not important websites. In other his messages he wrote password which looks similar to that one, but I haven't used such one. And in few other messages he just wrote some random passwords made from my email address.
There is one thing that made me sceptical about him - he wrote that he recorded me satisfying myself with my camera. But there is one thing - there is no camera in front of my PC, so, even if would did what he wrote, there is no chance for him to record it Cheesy. Also, he said that my browser wasn't updated, but I always use newest version of browsers. Finally, he gave me 3 days, but few weeks already passed since I got these messages and nothing didn't happened. I also didn't noticed any strange attempts to login to any of my accounts recently.
It looks like a bit more sophisticated scam attempt. maybe it's really possible that he got my password from one of websites where I used. For example it can be some IPTV providers or Bitcoin faucets which I used many years ago and who sold their database.
I'm not concerned that much because on all websites that really matters I use different and strong websites and 2FA enabled. But I advise for everyone to take safety seriously. Use 2FA, make strong and different website for every website. Don't use your main email address for low importance sign-ups. And don't fall into such scams.

Maybe you send your email in some other fake website and your email got exposed so you have that kind of email. I've experienced it too, I have so many spam email and it's so scared to open because I'm thinking that if you click that email, your information may be exposed by some kind of hacker. Once i get this kind of spam, I reboot my cp and create a new email so that I will not worry anymore. Like what you said, 2FA is the best option for your safety and also to avoid some scammer and also hacker. Don't ignore this thing, It's really important that you know this kind of spam email. Don't just send your information to some suspicious website that can exposed your wallet or maybe your life

LOL  Grin that guy is trying hard to scam you. I think he bought the data from a website where you used your information to register, and now he is trying his luck. I think this is kind of a unique system of email scam attempts. The way this email is written it is very engaging. I have finished the mail from start to finish.

I don't get any emails like this, and maybe it is time to check my spam box to look for some well-written scam scripts.
That guy has no will to live bro, he thinks that he can get a better life by just scamming and hacking people. Try to trick if you have this kind of email, prank it like he always do so the hacker can't hack or scamming anyone but I thinks the best way is just let them be, delete this kind of email so they stop teasing you.
