Wow, I've moved up to the top ten in contribution--and it's still less than 1% of total hash.   Cheesy

Back up to over 5P.  Way better than all that time we've been down in the multi T zone.

Hmmm.... I'm higher up in the contributor list than I expected to be based on my placement in the payout list.  I guess in a few more blocks we'll start seeing some of the miners who aren't here anymore start to slide down in overall rankings?

Yup, and with that I've put my other miner on here full time.  This pool now has 100% of my (still small potatoes) hash.

And a not inconsiderable amount of more hash just got added.   Wow.

Just an observation (I haven't been tracking to gather empirical data) it seems like our big hash contributor is here to stay.  He's been onboard non-stop for awhile now.  Just wondering if there is communication with him and we know he's here for good now?  Or could there still be a rental in the future and we're back down to hashing at TH/s rates without notice?

Here's my rather selfish reason for asking-- Right now I'm splitting hash between pools.  If he's committed to sticking around and providing hash, I'd strongly consider pointing 100% of my hash here 100% of the time.  I'm ok with three four weeks between blocks (on average) if we can maintain 6P+

Any guesses on when or how many days from now we would reel in a nice block? guesses for fun...
I guesstimate 16 days, whats your guess?

Well, we hit a block on Friday morning and here it is Monday morning and our diff is already up to 20.  16 days isn't a bad guess.  It's nice to see movement here.  Honestly, I'm splitting my hash between here and another pool just because I need to pay the electric bills somehow, but if we keep going like this, I'll be here with 100% of it 100% of the time.  I certainly like this pool a lot better.

i dont have a big miner only 1.15th so i dont expect much,

1 S7 I got from ebay got me on the payout list in 3 days? 4 maybe?  So you're probably looking at a week and half, two weeks to make the list would be my guess.

Now, our big whale with all his hash certainly makes climbing the list harder, it terms of how much of a payout you get but... at this hash we're mathmatically going to hit what... about every three weeks?  That's back of the napkin math and obviously luck dependent, but what do you make with 1 Th on a big pool?  A dollar a day?  Two? $2.50?  Again, I'm not pulling out a calculator here, but my gut tells me .003 every three weeks > .0001 every day.  (I'm sure someone will come along and actually do the math. I'm spit-balling rather wildly)

Just replaced some hardware so my hashrate is back up a little bit.  It was embarrassingly low (but accurate) on that list.   Cheesy

Yes!  Another one!

I've got an S9 arriving the beginning of January, so I'm looking forward to contributing more hash as we seem to be growing.  For the time being though, I'm happy with my $75 worth of bitcoin this morning.  Smiley

We've been consistently over 2P for a day now.  I get that we've got a guy who is in and out as his rentals are being used, but we were consistently at 1.89-1.9P before when he was in pool.  Looks like we're growing a bit.  Smiley

Why does stats page report being one block ahead of everyone else?

Well, it's complicated, but it involves a flux capacitor and 1.21 Gigawatts.   Wink

So... I'm just kind of insanely curious about everything.  If I become obnoxious, let me know and I'll hush.    Are there any thoughts about what the "ideal" pool size/hash rate would be?  Obviously smaller nets the individual contributors more, however, it also statistically increases the time between blocks, yes?  Just wondering if there is a target size out there?
