I agree with this so much. Ethereum's price skyrocketed before the recent dump. And I've no doubt that the increase will continue again as long as the bull market continues to exist. My top 3 rankings for the coins in the market are like this:
1. Bitcoin 2. Ethereum 3. BNB
this is my thought bnb as soon as it will be available in china that would be like crazy, but so far bitcoin is the world leader, but these three are overtaking next 3 years

If you are talking about the present, I will say YES, but looking at the future, Binance Chain, Elrond ..... might takes the glory. ETH gas fee and speed of transactions has to be addressed permanently and ETH 2.0 is just a promise which failed repeatedly to actualize
still ethereum somehow gain its popularity with those fees and not that speed transactions

How much do you think about bitcoin? Because what do you know about the success of bitcoin. What bitcoin was like in the past and what it is like now. I think you have failed to make a profit from bitcoin, so you are criticizing eth in the first place. Bitcoin is a currency that has brought cryptocurrency to everyone's doorstep and bitcoin is now widely used in the world which is beyond counting.
now it is impossible to say that eth is better than btc. Both of these cryptocurrencies are good in their own way. But we all perfectly understand that without btc there would be no cryptocurrencies.
indeed with btc other coins would not even exist but in case of fast gains ethereum now is more interesting
