Hey guys,

I would like the dev team to confirm that Claymore does not mine PascalCoin (RandomHash algo) any longer (cannot find it anywhere). There are people that think Claymore is still capable of mining PascalCoin and blame mining pools when they don't see results at their accounts.

Thanks in advance!

Re: How to stop emails from nanopool.org: "XMR: Your workers has gone offline"
by
Matthew_Nanopool
on 26/10/2018, 10:12:38 UTC
The thing is that Nanopool is optimized for multi GPU/CPU RIGs, that means while mining with a single GPU/CPU or low-efficient one,
you'll receive a false-positive notification each time your miner does not manage to send a valid share to the pool for 20 minutes.

If this is the case, you can simply replace your email in the miner configuration with a passphrase that will be your new password for your account settings.

I hope this helps!

Thanks. I got it now. The email was in my command line that I supplied for the miner. I wish they explained it in a more clear form on the website.

That is right. I can assure they are working on many improvements now. And one of them is a new, clear FAQ section.

Re: 27 day test shows Minerall.io is15% more profitable than 2Miners to mine ETH
by

Hi community,

New test as promised. Now its Minerall.io vs. NanoPool

https://minerall.io/minerstats/0x72a5c922ade85b799664347e50dd0acdd838c14a 0.0913 ETH

https://eth.nanopool.org/account/0x72a5c922ade85b799664347e50dd0acdd838c14a 0.06234010 ETH

Minerall stats

NanoPoll stats

Of course, everything depends on a pool luck rate. The Minerall's pool started worse, but then managed to catch up and overtake NanoPool. The test is now finished. Any suggestion which pools to compare next?

Hi there,

You have to also take into account your Average and Last reported hash-rate discrepancy on Nanopool. According to the screenshot you attached,
your 6 hour Average H/s was 119.4 whereas your Last reported H/s was 186 (see your Nanopool account). Basically instead of getting paid for your actual
hash-rate, you were getting for 119.4 only, which was the reason, I guess, why you got less.

PS: Your Last reported and Average hash-rate have to be close to each other, otherwise there is something wrong (10% discrepancy is acceptable).

Re: Nanopool steals founded blocks
by

After the fork the difficulty abruptly dropped on electroneum and tons of people started to mine it.  When difficulty dropped to the bottom the blocks suddenly couldn’t be found at about 23.42. At the same time the power of the pool went up to 53mx at the peak, everyone bought orders on nicehash.
https://i.imgur.com/bWS4Qea.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/JKzGaHD.jpg
New blocks couldn’t be found for about an hour but the net was fine. Just a food for thought, make your own conclusions...

Hey guys,

Due to the issue we had, basically Electroneum wallet started rejecting all the blocks that Nanopool submitted right after the ANTI-ASIC fork.
Thus we had to submit empty blocks while were cooperating with ETN team in order to get the block rejection issue fixed as soon as possible.

Hello,
I have some issues using nanopool recently.
I have 40kh/s and estimated earnings are usualy 9.5 XMR per Month, but now I'm around 6 XMR per month.
Only 128 blocks found the last 24 hours on nanopool but with the total hashrate this should be around 200 blocks.
Is it really bad luck or something else?

Hello there,

There was a minor issue with the calculator that has been already fixed. It has to be said that the issue had no effect
on your income. The calculator estimated profit should be more accurate by now. However we are doing our
back-end server check just in case, which has not revealed any flaws so far.

Re: How to get a pascal coin account/private key?
by
Matthew_Nanopool
on 25/05/2018, 10:17:57 UTC
I'm trying to figure out how to register an PASC account. I downloaded the latest Pascal coin wallet, and generated a public key. Any advise on how to get a private key (I want a local account, not exchange account), so I'll be able to start mining in nanopool. I tried to get a private key from "Discord" (#free-pasa-bot channel), but it didn't work. Can somebody give me an advise on how to get it?

My public key - 3GhhbomUFyyDvVr16RMGxeK9bZBfPmgWeTSnVZ1RbiJ4TeQ68Nv81vaihbtBKcW8s8yJ8UeB3MUJp4K kZoyPsQNCtBh4iSAnx3vACF

Thank you!

Hi there,

You can basically do what is mentioned above: Start mining to Poloniex account, set your Public Key in the Nanopool account settings.
As soon as 20 coins are paid to you out, you'll receive PASA along with the next payout. Then you can go ahead and switch your mining to the PASA you got.

You can also request me for a free PASA by sending me your Public Key at the email down the main Nanopool page.
However keep in mind free PASA request takes up to 10 days to be reviewed, so it might be faster to start with Poloniex.

Re: How to mine XMR on multiple GPUs, GeForce GTX 1060?
by
Matthew_Nanopool
on 12/05/2018, 09:43:30 UTC
Hi everyone:

I haven't done any more research on this since I built this rig in June of 2017. It has 5x GeForce GTX 1060 gpus running in Windows 10. I've been using it exclusively to mine ETH + SC.

Apart from that I also started mining XMR using my CPU on my main computer but that soon became too annoying to do (computer gets too slow and noisy) so I stopped after about a month. I was mining XMR via the xmr.nanopool.org pool and was able to accumulate 0.18812771 XMR.

So now I want to get that XMR out of that pool. I see that they have a minimum payout of 0.3 XMR (if I'm lucky to change the setting from 1 XMR originally.)

Now I stopped mining ETH on my main mining rig and tried to set up XMR mining instead so that I can bring up my XMR balance in the pool to be able to withdraw it. Unfortunately I couldn't find a straightforward XMR mining software for Nvidia GPU mining. I was able to get "xmr-stak-win64" to run on my miner that seemed to have worked for awhile. Unfortunately that miner seems to crash sporadically after about a day of running on my system.

Do you know of any XMR mining software for Windows that works with nvidia GPUs?

Hi,

Aside from that being said you can always request Nanopool team for an early one-time payout if your balance is above 0.05 XMR. Before doing that make sure your XMR mining is turned off.

Feel free to send me your Nanopool account link directly to speed up this process.

im mining on gtx 1060
why is nanopool too low on shares? i have two mining rig hashrates of 340mh but the shares iget is 120- 60 Huh thats too low . im mining ethereum and planning to switch on pirl or ubiq . anyone same experience on nanopool ?

any good pool out there is ethermine good on payout and shares?

Hi,

Note that Nanopool provides high difficulty shares, that's why a number of shares you submit is low. However it doesn't change the thing,
the higher share difficulty is, the higher share price will be. Basically your profit should not be lower than the one you would get if you mined
on other pools that provide lower difficulty shares.

so here is my question if in the claymore it is not showing any warnings then how do i find out which GPU is not getting shares ?

when i run them on stock the average will level up with the reported but when i overclock one of the GPU the average and calculated hashrate dropped but claymore is not showing OC warning.
i have a rig that has 10 GPUS and i believe one of them is not getting shares. question is how do i find out which one ?
any help from the community guys thanks

Hey,

If the issue is still relevant, you can go ahead and determine GPUs that aren't working properly by running each of them separately.

Wrong wallet address YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.YOUR_PAYMENT_ID.YOUR_WORKER_NAME/EMAIL - XMR/QCN/BCN/FCN/Duck/Dash/OEC/MCN/ORION addresses are supported only. Use "allcoins 1" option.

What is this talking about?

The miner seems to run normally after this and on xmr.nanopool.org it shows my stats,
however when i go into change the minimum payout it says incorrect password...

Any help???

Thanks!
