Re: Patience is a virtue but how much patience do you have?
by

Now that the market is bleeding, our patience will be measured again and those hearts will start pumping so fast every time we look on our portfolios went down for more than 30%. Panic selling starting to rise and a lower low can be expected. How do you control your patience in a red days like this?

I only invest in fundamental crypto-currencies, and I am ready to hold them for several years. I am sure that in 2-3 years their cost will increase significantly and it will be possible to get a high profit. I am ready to wait for this for several years.

how do you manage stress if you loss biggest amount because the value of.your token.is hitting down ..? in your opinion how diversify your investment in other alts to cope up your losses?
thanks in.advance..

I do not fix the losses. I think that the crypto-currency market is cyclical and the stage of growth will begin soon, when it will be possible to fix the profit. I will buy promising coins at a good price now.

Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams
by

Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...

This once again confirms that if you decide to participate in the ICO, you need to very carefully choose projects. A good analysis of the project will reduce the risk to a minimum.

Re: whats your plans for the year 2018
by
Mattias357
on 30/07/2018, 16:25:42 UTC
my plan is to keep 6 potential alt coins till year end. at least keep until bull market. specially coins are req, ada, trx, prl ,cs and snov. i wish two bull markets will come in this year

https://www.bitcoinmarena.info

I believe it makes sense to invest in fundamental coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Waves. And also invest in the most promising ICO. To choose an ICO, you need to conduct a thorough analysis, since there has been a lot of Scam lately.

Re: Do you keep all your bounty coins or you convert some to ETH and BTC?
by
Mattias357
on 26/07/2018, 12:33:41 UTC
Coins like BTC and ETH have proven beyond reasonable doubts that they are the best and more safer coins to invest. My little advice is that, whenever you get your altcoins, it would be better to convert at least one third to either BTC or ETH to serve as some form of insurance to your tokens in case it fails to survive. I used to keep all my altcoins and now that the market is red it has badly affected my investment. And mind you, those new altcoins are not like BTC and ETH, they can get zero volume anytime so they are not reliable. Is there any other person with a different view or everybody agrees with me?

I sell a part of tokens right after entering the exchange, and I leave a part for the growth prospect. The more promising the project, the more tokens I hold for a long term.

on 26/07/2018, 07:59:19 UTC
After waiting for some months for ico's I invest to come on board but to no avail, i wish to re-strategize on alt coin that are on coinmarketcap.
Please can someone tell me good coins a least five different coins below $1?

If we consider coins worth less than$ 1, I invest in NEM, Ripple, Ziliqa, Tierion. I believe that in the growing market these coins will give a good profit!

I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?

I believe that we should continue to invest in ICO. We need to carefully analyze projects and not to invest in everything. In a growing market, this will give good results.

Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money
by

on 22/07/2018, 03:27:54 UTC
What is happening in crypto world? Every Altcoins are dumping now, I am new but I have some good worthy coins. Now I am losing huge money for this dumping.

What should I do now? I am very worry about it.

Until you sold the coins you lost nothing. No need to fix the loss. Just be patient. Soon the market will turn green and you will be able to go into a plus. And some coins in General will shoot. Therefore hold!

I have 100 Waves. Its price now falling down and down. I'm in Confusions Sell it or Hodl it now!

I believe there is no point in selling anything in a falling market. The Waves have very great prospects, this is a strong coin. Therefore, hold Waves until the market grows and get a good profit.

Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few?
by

I know that there are many kinds of alternative coins existing today, but is it better to have that many coins instead of having just a few? What are the benefits and harm in having that many alternative coins?

I believe that one of the main rules of professional investors should be followed. We need to diversify our investment portfolio. So I think it's better to invest in more altcoins. However, you need to conduct a thorough analysis before investing.

Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more
by
Mattias357
on 12/07/2018, 16:42:40 UTC
I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.

I first also participated in Airdrops but eventually moved to the bounty. In bounty, much less the Scam and exit to the stock exchange the tokens are worth more. So I recommend you take care of the bounty.

I think Waves is a very promising coin that hasn't realized its potential yet. In fact, it is a full-fledged crypto platform. Now the price is very low, so I buy more. And of course I hold for a long term.

Re: Myetherwallet is not really safe

MythMyEtherWallet warns users of the hacked Hola application
Hola is a free VPN service with over 8 million installs and a 4.9 star rating.

Specifically, the MEW side posted the following on their Twitter:

"URGENT! If you have installed the Hola extension on a Chrome browser and have used your MEW wallet for the last 24 hours, please immediately transfer your funds to a brand new account!

We have received reports that Hola has been hacked for about 5 hours and this attack is to record your activity on MEW. "

I think myetherwallet is not safe, because recently MEW was frequently visited by hackers and the incident four months ago had total 216 ETH stolen after some DNS servers were taken over and controlled. That leads the user to a fake website

I believe that myetherwallet wallet is one of the most reliable wallets. Frequent hacker attacks are associated with the popularity of this wallet. However, in the vast majority of cases, the culprit is the user or third-party services (for example, VPN service)

Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ?

i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  Cool

update: stoppp ittt. i didn't buy Sad

I believe that investing all your money in one coin is too risky. Even in such a strong coin as Ethereum. Do not forget about the main rule of investment - diversification. No need to put all the eggs in one basket. Because even with the most reliable asset, unforeseen circumstances can happen.

Re: Why hold ethereum
by
Mattias357
on 10/07/2018, 17:45:44 UTC
If I could pick one crypto that suits for holding, that would be ethereum. Do you agree that this one is good for a holder ?

It's more established than other alts in the market and  companies are adopting it.

I believe that it makes sense to keep Ethereum, as the development team is actively working on its development and follows a promising road map. When Ethereum goes on the POS, holders will be able to receive rewards for the retention of coins on my wallet. And this is also an important reason to keep the Ethereum for a long term.

Re: Is it safe to leave Altcoin in Exchange
by
Mattias357
on 27/05/2018, 16:48:26 UTC
Hi,

I want to earn interest on my coins (BTC,ETH,LTC) therefore I prefer to leave these in Exchange for funding purpose, however I have No plan to sell or exchange with other coin in near future.

I always keep my withdrawal blocked by changing password every 5th day.

Is it 100% safe to keep crypto's in exchange like Bitfinex or others with withdrawal locked ?

Any exchange can be hacked. Or the exchange may close for a number of reasons. I find that storing coins on a wallet is a more secure way.

Hey there,
I've been investing in altcoins for a while but have recently found out the potential in ICO's. Can somebody suggest some good ICO projects to invest in?

Troceto ICO is coming soon. This is a project with a strong team and a ready-made product, and this is the key to success. Clients of the project are already such companies as ICON, TenX and many other. Recommend this ICO for participation.
