The reward system is in real time so you can verify immediately that you are getting the tokens for your actions.

Once you export our tokens to the mainchain, you are able to track them on Etherscan or similar like any erc20 token.

We are working to add more transparency on sidechain, follow us for updates in this sense.

I think the categorisation of circulating supply vs total supply can be a bit misleading, as all tokens have been already minted.
Alex Morris, Head of Product, explained this briefly in his AMA, on top of the Token Policy blog post.
