@Broesel

Please find a short list which is off the top of my head otherwise join us on discord if additional questions remain-

Atomic Swaps functionality just tested and working
Wallets for most platforms available at URL: https://polispay.org/download   (Apple App Store pending but defined wallets from prev. download location do otherwise work)
Community voting by way of master node console with proposals submitted by any member and approved assuming enough "Yes" votes are reached based on then total percentage of master nodes.
https://polis-ninja.org/governance.html
Already added on most masternode monitoring websites (masternodes.pro/*.online/mnrank etc.)
Optional independent monitoring website for MN holders
http://polis.mn.zone/
POLIS Forum / Market website
https://forum.polispay.org/
Updated March POLIS White Paper
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/422760774318948382/422773844709736448/Polis_WhitePaper-v1.1-March-2018.pdf

Proposal for additional marketing has already been approved:
https://forum.polispay.org/t/polis-core-team-marketing-campaign/71

And another proposal establishing permanent offices should be concluded-

Lastly for increased exposure and ease of trading, POLIS will soon be added to Cryptopia from its other existing non-newb friendly exchanges SouthXchange, Stocks.Exchange and CryptoBridge

*If ALQO has some of those offerings (Aside from the assumed wallets) it doesn't relate well from their published website/roadmap

Big news via Linda Discord worth mentioning on Bitcointalk and any current holders.

*Minimum of 7 days out for Airdrop

*Web wallet release in two weeks max. per Jonah Glasgow (Linda Coin CEO)

2M Masternodes, Upcoming Airdrop, New web wallet, Updated Twitter and revised website from current, Updated whitepaper, Revised roadmap, Proposed 5 new exchanges.

Linda CEO mentions:

"we are going to make the first crypto backed staking website where you have your own wallet vs sending coins to a stranger"

"along with every other staking coin on the market"

"5% fee will br charged for all other coins and linda will be free"

"that 5% will goin into buying linda"

"put into a wallet and burned"

"i am going to force the staking fee to raise the price of linda"

"from all other coins while linda is free to stake"

"no cost on linda but on all other POS coin will be charged. This will be a full staking platform, 5% fee goes into linda raising the price and then burned from the wallet"

"yes staking and everything will stay the sam for the next two weeks then everyone will hear the big news we have done a internal investigation, we found proof that the Original linda development team was up to suspicious activity, due to our current hiarchy we were unaware of this activity until reciently confirmed. This new found information has forced us to release our new wallet early and drop masternode prices with our wallet V2.0.0.0 ...the next two weeks, we ask everyone to download our new wallet and transfer over all linda as our previous wallets are being discontinued. The first ever Linda coin air drop for the whole community will take place 10 days after our wallet is released.(edited)
A new twitter and website have been created to remove all ties with Linda's previous founder. Please know the community has made us aware of these malisous actions and our team is doing everything possible to protect all Linda investors."

"the air drop will take place 10 days after the new wallet"

All via Jonah Glasgow and verifiable within the Linda Discord

*Supposedly from the internal investigation San Law "Original dev" was slowly releasing his 500+M Linda and continues to do so further depressing Lindas price until Wallet 2.0/Web options are released.

DYOR but look at the charts.

Just sent your info to (sk8r) one of the Linda Devs via discord- Max

Devs, both zpool.ca and hash-to-coins.com seem to have removed / suspended Linda from their mining pools....when you get the chance, please reach out to them to help them resolve any issues they might be having with the wallet or coin so they can reactivate it.

Thanks.

Linda staff are working other exchanges now and should have another one or more added before end of Q2 2018

@jayshaa
Both wallet versions are listed and usually flagged as false positives (IRC-Trojan/Botnet) given the old school peering method most cryptos utilized before transitioning to DNS and updated their coding. If concerned the only port you need open is 33820 all others including 6667, 33821, 60032, 60020 and 28284 can be blocked if just staking (Not as a seed peer or MN however those do require different attention)

Per a recent GitHub comment by Linda Coin lead dev the soon to be released wallet will not flag as a false positive:
https://github.com/MrBitKoin/Linda/commit/63dfbd733ed404eedae632f59f626c411a056de6

Fake Linda Coin Article Subject: Announcement Linda Hard Fork

///Max

Recently I have received many questions about the Linda hard fork: what will happen with all the LRC22 tokens, which basically are smart contracts deployed to Linda. Therefore, I decided to perform a quick research and cover this topic as we are getting closer to Metro update, everyone should be informed and understand what will happen.
What is hard fork?
Blockchain miners run the software to maintain the network, confirm transactions and earn mining fees. The software is being maintained and developed by the Network core developers and community. The main incentive for miners is profit, however, developers are seeking fast and effective network. This incentive mismatch is hard to align.
Miners select which software to run. Therefore, we have issues when developers propose solutions which reduce mining profits and part of the miners disagree with changes. At a certain time, we have a fork, where half of the miners run one piece of software and other half operate with another software. This leads us to having two separate chains from a certain block and this results in having a chain split.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash
The bitcoin has experienced a hard fork and a chain split lately. That lead to Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. The chain split occurred because the miners have been divided into two parts and one side did not want to use the new proposed software.

The result is that both networks are being maintained by miners. From a bitcoin owner perspective, your coins are available on both chains and you can start interacting with both networks. The Bitcoin chain split resulted in having the new cryptocurrency with a third size market cap.
Linda Metros
Due to high load on the network, Linda  cannot keep up with the pace and scale. As a result, Linda  foundation implemented updates to the Linda  Miner software under the name Metros. Accordingly, the upgrade has now been split into two parts named Rome and Tbilisi.

Rome. This upgrade includes fixing various scalability issues:
•   the problem of difficulty adjustments
•   ‘returndata’ operations
•   ‘static call’ operations
•   new precompiles
•   a difficulty delay feature
These are small tech things which won’t be obvious to non-developers. To be more exact, it will solve smart contract issues like re-entrance attack (when untrusted code enters a contract to manipulate it), return data in receipts will make it possible for light clients to determine if a transaction was successful or not with no need of actually executing the transaction in a virtual machine.
The main aspect of the upgrade is a reduction in Linda  issuance to miners through block mining rewards from the current 5 LINDA to 3 LINDA. As well it will delay the increase in mining difficulty which was placed there for the Proof of Stake (PoS) upgrade. PoS is delayed, so to keep issuance around the same level as it should have been.
Right now, it is planned to introduce Rome  approx. on January 28.
Tbilisi. Improvements for speed and deep core issues fixing. The release date is on January 29.
What will happen when chain split? 2x tokens?

In case of a chain split interesting thing happen. From that point in time, we would have two Linda  chains. All contracts would be available at both chains. It means that LRC22 tokens would be available at both chains as well.
Assuming, that both would have enough miners and both stays alive, this might lead to huge confusion within the market. It will be up to exchanges to decide whether support both chains and all of its tokens or stay with the more popular one.
Exchanges may continue trading during the forks, although deposits and withdrawals may be disabled for some time, check their individual announcements for details. It is not recommended to store your Lindas  and other LRC22 tokens in the exchange, as in case of the split, the exchange might delay or even decide not to support one or other chain.
Will it happen?
It is unlikely that Linda  will have two valid chains, as the community is waiting for those updates and there is not much opposition to this proposed hard fork. This means that we might have a hard fork to which all nodes within the network switches and we will avoid chain split.
Most likely this is what will happen as Metros update was planned from the beginning and there are no reasons not to switch to. Also, there is a huge drawback to stay on the old chain: if a miner stays on the old chain, the Ice Age (built in block mining time increase) will force the node owner to switch and start using new software anyway because block times become way too long to be useful.
There were similar rumors with Bitcoin, but now we have Bitcoin cash. Therefore, it is hard to predict what will actually happen.
What to do?
There is a golden rule — keep your private keys with coins to yourself. Leaving it in the exchange during a chain split (if that happens) could result in two main things:
1.   Your Linda  and tokens balance will stay the same on the chain which wallet provider selects to support and you will be able to use those token as usual on that chain.
2.   Your wallet provider will offer you a chance to keep your token balance on both chains or to choose one of them. However, it might take even a month for exchange to actually enable those tokens transfers.

Confirmed via LINDA Coin CEO maint. started for Linda on Cryptopia after "x" amount of new pull requests in prep for 2M masternodes, modification of the Lindas code removing false positives for wallets (IRC-Botnet false positives) and changing an anomaly that could occur when a local wallet was staking and you also tried to send coins at that same moment. Otherwise @riiiiising is right most alt coins indiscriminately can go into maint. mode under any circumstances-

@LuckyLlama

Try the following:

1. Create Folder on Desktop called "Linda"

2. Search for "Windows Defender"

3. Click Settings, "Excluded files and locations"

Add the following locations (Replacing USERNAME with your account info/path):

C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads; C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\Linda;

4. Now select "Excluded file types" | Under File extensions type .zip and click add

5. Select "Excluded processes" and add the following path C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\Linda\Linda-qt.exe;

6. Click Save changes

7. Browse to URL:

https://github.com/Lindacoin/Linda/releases

8. Download "windows_qt.zip" and extract to C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\Linda

9. Launch file "Linda-qt.exe"

I tested on a Windows 10 machine and everything functioned correctly

PS. As a little cleanup go back into Windows Defender and under "Excluded files and locations" remove "C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads" then under "Excluded file types" remove .zip and retain the entry under Excluded processes followed by saving changes.

Good luck- ///Max

@Digital D
Good luck on your next pick-

@miguportugal
Staking is a balance of network weight (comparison against other stakes currently performing the same action), weight (coin amount and coin maturity) *how many confirmations each coin block within your wallet has

Please see this website

https://lindacoinfaq.wordpress.com/

And scroll down to section

Staking

What is staking?

Personally speaking with every 1M Lindas @current network weight im averaging 1,000 to 1,300 daily stakes (every 24 hrs)

If you have a lower amount of coins the stake will occur it just takes longer /// say 100k Lindas may not see a stake until day 6 or 7 but that amount will be larger (*Respective of your total number of coins) given the total confirmations (time).
