They use 2 of 2 signatures.. would have to be a WONDROUS hacker to get a site that is not available to sign a transaction lol.

If the site is down I am sure it will only be a temporary issue. The reason you seen no coins is that the returned response to find your coins may have failed (probably part of the reason the site is down)

I would like to see peta switch to p2pool. If ghash.io had floating fees it would natrually solve this problem aswell AND they would make money.

Feels like to me they have constantly and consistently under estimated how long it takes to do things.

If this is the case either scaling up needs to be done asap (I think this was already mentioned) or stop anouncing they will do things on specific dates.

I would prefer the former. Its more likely to have results Wink

No visible hashing, but a payment of 0.1511633 from BTC Guild.

Who knows.
manual payment?

even if not, that's still the level of yesterday .15/h = ~850 GH/s, not really an improvement

I thought we were going to see daily increases?

Pretty sure it was maxing out at 800 yesterday.. so thats 50ghash increase if that is the case.... That is a daily increase.

can u plz not quoting him? ty.

I have this thing called a bullshit filter where I internally ignore people who spout rubish. Thankfully I dont need an ignore list so when someone who is ignored by many people actually says something which is not troublesome I see it and can respond. I think many people on this forum require this. Its called intuition.

But in all seroiusness. If its a valid comment whats the harm in quoting someone. Its not like I have a detailed list of everyone on *your* ignore list...

correction: 796 has very high withdraw fees.

Screw them, then.

They also have a very awkward interface.

I see.  I'm not very familiar with them at all, other then that they have some kind of HK license for dealing with money. I think bitfunder is the way to go. Being listed on 796 could give us some extra protection, plus being on multiple exchanges would make things much easier for people, especially if there was a way to transfer shares.
That license only at best make their BTC exchange legal. Not a license will protect security exchange, which is almost impossible to be completely legal in my opinion.

TOR + namecoin.

Go dark or go home.

pretty sure there already is TorStocks or something similar

Hi guys,

Please can someone give me an update.  I'm a bit lost to whats going on?

BTCT.co is closing so what happens to our shares?
I doubt I goto sell off before it closes so what do I need to do?

Can someone advise pls..

Ta..

Chill out, dont worry. Looks like swede is going to help em move to another security exchange. not sure on time frame (its labcoin, lets face it eh lol). until then shares will be paid direct from company. Could be a bit sketchy on times, hence why people are dumping.

People can't handle that Labcoin is succeeding.

being 2+ weeks behind schedule and having < .06% of the network is succeeding, now?

Compared to every other asic manufacturer feels like they are doing really well tbh. BFL was delayed... how long?

UPDATE:

I just woke up to the information that BTCT.CO is "winding down" (Shutting down, I haven't even had time to read the full release or catch up on the information thread).

Burnside has previously informed the team (at listing) that complete ownership registry is kept up-to-date (as per previous discussions reg. direct shares), and while this obviously is something no one was expecting I expect all shares to be accounted for.

As to alternate listing, direct share conversion and other alternatives for share holders i currently have not had time to consider this yet but of course we will start working ASAP on a solution.

The hashrate should've gone up. Which it didn't. You are going to ignore this and say nothing about it?

Labcoin already made a post saying they are puting another "module" up shortly. We can assume the way their racks work it supports 350/400ghash per sector and they are doing a sector at a time.

Are you saying he doesnt control the IPO bitcoins?

He didn't. It's "labcoin" who has control over their BTCT account.

Ok fine, but do I get this right that we dont know who theswede is IRL and that theswede may well not know for sure who labcoin is IRL ? And no one else knows who labcoin is?

Thats rich from someone named puppet, we dont even know who you are online....

All btct shares will be converted to direct shares as soon as we receive official communication from Ethan Burnside.
Dividends will be paid regularly until the btct platform is available.
For what concerns the hashrate, as soon as we reach stability with another batch, we will merge it on btcguild, be patient.
We will also evaluate listing again on another exchange.

Thanks for an update. Hope everything goes smoothly.
