I made this thread to provide an alternative to interest-based finance in the best interests of the people.(pun intended) I strongly believe that interest contributes to the misery of millions across the world.
For the sake of transparency, I require that all loan applicants use this thread to request loans. DO NOT request loans via PMs!
Loans will be considered on a case by case basis. Applicants should post the loan amount required and state the reason for the loan. If you do not wish to publicly state the reason, you must do so privately before any loan can be issued. Loans will be paid out in BTC and should be paid back in BTC. Collateral is required if you cannot prove you have the ability to repay the loan.

It really surprises me how some of the BTC community no nothing about basic economics.
Do you even understand economy and banking?
I am not really trying to hi-jack this thread but, do you know why interest is charged? Interest it what pays the employees, grows the "lending pool" as you call it. And how in the world does it cause environmental destruction? Please an example.

I am glad everyone else can do charge backs so easily. I have been scammed twice when using g my PayPal via the friends and family option and could not even open a dispute unless I could prove my account had been used without my authorization. And I of course couldn't.
Sorry but KingOfSports has a point in regards to the high risk of accepting PayPal payments, from anyone. Add that to the fact that you're new around here makes it even harder for people to be able to trust you. Of course I am not saying you're a scammer but I think people around here would much rather exchange PP transactions with someone with much more rep for a significantly less risk.
Well then how am I supposed to build up a reputation if nobody will deal with me?Your best bet is localbitcoins.com if your going to use Paypal, that's what I have had to do. Then I trade on here using other methods to build rep.
