chain and protocol
by
Mbidox
on 30/10/2022, 14:38:21 UTC
On
https://app.analytex.today/lend?view=assets&page=1&limit=10
there is a column "All chains" and "All protocols". The name under them are different. For example in chain, it looks like this are the different blockchains that exist. For example Ethereum, Avalanche. But under "All protocols" for example we can not find "Ethereum".

A) So what is the protocol?

B) Why is it important to chose a protocol on https://app.analytex.today/lend?view=assets&page=1&limit=10 ?

C) Can it be, that different blockchains use the same protocol?
D) Can it be, that different protocols are on the same blockchain?

Would appreciate some answer. Thank you.

Thank you.

Its not possible to stake any other coins/tokens in a POS model because most of the time they prefer the native token/coin to be locked up.
Does this mean, that there are the designers of the blockchain, that decide if only the native coin is available for staking and no tokens. So can you say any blockchain, that allows also to stake any token?

(Please note I am not talking about "Yield Farming" "lending" or "Liquidity Mining". I am talking about staking as validator or in a pool.)

Beeing LP on uniswap
by

on 20/10/2022, 12:19:05 UTC
It is said, that Liquidity Providers on Uniswap will earn from the swap fees, that the trader have to pay.

Question: Is the amount a LP will earn depending on the pair on he is providing liquidity?

For example will I earn more with ETH/USDC than USDT/USDC ?

Or do all become the same amount?

Thank you.

Precisely. Just use bitcoin peer to peer without going through a centralized third party

The subject of claimed tainted coins could be a problem (or risk) in the future, if you want to change your crypto back into Fiat and no longer find an exchange, that does not makes two categories of crypto.

Of course you can go to an exchange, that only ensures that buyers and sellers find each other. For example person A) who wants to sell their crypto against Fiat and person B), who wants buy Crypto against Fiat. Person B) directly get Crypto from person A) and person A) directly get Fiat from person B) by providing his bank account number.

BUT: In this case there will be a bank involved.
There were cases in Germany, where person B) has tried to wash his Fiat by buying crypto this way. The bank account of person A) was closed without giving an explanation. (So we could say in this case there was "tainted Fiat".)

-> So when you try to sell your Crypto to get Fiat with a DEX/P2P, you will run into the risk of tainted Fiat.

The only remaining possibility then would be to meet each other live in person with Cash Fiat and Crypto.
But: That would again entail other risks. *haha

staking USDC

Hello,

Is it technically possible to stalk USDC (from Ethereum) or can we only stalk ETH?

Or in general: Can we also stalk coin tokens or only the basic coin from the chain?

Would appreciate some answer. Than you.

Must this adversary (or any data collector) be watching me live, exactly to the time point, if I would make the swap with ETH?
No, not at all. Given that both Bitcoin's and Ethereum's blockchains are completely public, anyone can look back at any point in the future and try to link your transactions together.

Given, there was no data collecting at the time I made the switch from BTC into ETH and back, then the only possibility to reconstruct the trace would be
-the point of time and
-the amount of the coin?

Right?

... then an adversary who was watching you might be able ...

Thank you.
Must this adversary (or any data collector) be watching me live, exactly to the time point if I would make the swap?
And if at the the live time there was no data collecting, then in retrospect it would no longer be possible?

Thank you all very much. I appreciate it.

I see the advantage of a good mixer now.

But back to the other method:
I do not understand, why privacy (cutting the trace) is better when I make A) instead of B).

A) I use Bisq to switch my BTC into Monero and switch back to BTC (with a different amount).
B) I use Bisq to switch my BTC into ETH and switch back to BTC (with a different amount).

I know, that Monero does not provide a history of the past transactions, but ETH does.
But why is this relevant in the case of switching BTC into another coin and switch back to cut the trace?
The trace on the ETH, if I would use ETH, is not from me. So the past transactions of this ETHs would be useless, if somebody would try to follow my past transactions. What am I missing?

Would be thankful for an answer. Thank you.

Thank you.

Strange. If this is compatible with USA law, I wunder, why other USA exchange do not allow the same limits.
(I guess it is a competitive advantage if an exchange allows higher limits.)

BTC anonymity

There are people that use Bitcoin mixer to cover the origin of there Bitcoins with a veil.

I will never make this, because this would make my BTC suspect. And there is a risk to make my BTC's dirty.

But here is my technical question:
When we change our BTC into another crypto and after change them back into BTC, I guess in this case it would no more be possible to trace back the origin of the  origin BTC.
Am I right? Or do I miss anything?
Of course if we make the change on a CEX, it would be possible to trace back the origin, because the CEX will have a history-protocol. But I guess not, when we make this via DEX.

If I am right: Why do people use BTC mixer? Isn't changing BTC into another crypto and change them back, not the much better solution to cut off the trace?

Would appreciate a competent answer. Thank you.

Have you done it @OP?

No, after all that has been posted here, I found it too risky. Many critical voices and warnings. And only one positive voice for keeping the KYC promise however for another exchange.

Just wondering: Is 50'000 $ withdraw without KYC compliant with the USA law?

Poloniex withdraw limit real?

Hello,

Any experience with poloniex?

It is sead, that we can withdraw coins until 50000$ per day without KCY with tier1.
This is unbelievable.

https://ibb.co/SBLsgzG

Or does this mean 50$ (50.000) ?

I am just worried, that when I want to withdraw 2000$, then it is said, "Sorry, we need KCY".

Would appreciate if someone has experience with this. Thank you.
