How do you find all the new IPOs?
Many people say different altcoins are better than others but I don't really see any proof as of yet. What altcoin should I invest in? How do I know if an altcoin is succeeding? I have many questions, but I can't seem to find an answer easily :S
Well, tell us which coins you prefer and I'm quite sure you get all the answers you need
In generel I like alt coins with unique features in regard to other coins. It should have something really new and useful.
Secondly the support of coins decides about success or fail.

Looking for the coin that will have high correlation for going up when Bitcoin goes down, and why.
In your shoes, I would buy NEM and NXT.
Surely both of them are the best examples of the second generation which probably will have the power, the support, the technical attributes to survive most of the altcoins.
My personal favorite with the most potential is NEM:

Well, in the altcoin-section are many other coins, too. Maybe we all make a huge mistake with our chosen altcoins. You can't get a guarantee for everything.
But in case I could just choose 1 altcoin, it would be NEM.

Aurora was one of the best pump and dump ever in history of altcoins.
In short:
Aurora was just get hyped and after while the value dropped to the ground.
Now Aurora is almost worthless.
What the hell is going on?

I've already remarked that there might be a small hype about Qora atm.
But what is the matter for that?
As you can see there are many other coins with different features which won't get hyped I guess..

Ripple is a fucking scam coin, i don't understand how people are so gullible just by some 20% rise on some days.
They hold 40% of the coins and this is not even a cryptocurrency... why we are even talking about this one on bitcointalk forum ? I though this forum section should be only about Alt cryptocurrencys. I think the mods need to send Ripple topics to the Off-Topic section because this is where Ripple belongs.
I hope the greedy bagholders have learned something now.
