Ehi guys looks like that they have a promotion period from the 31 March to the 2 April http://www.innosilicon.com/html/t3-39t-miner/index.html .
I already send them a commercial request, let's see what would be the answer.

Does anyone of you have some confidence and experience with Innosilicon in general?

A close personal friend who helped me get into GPU mining last year took the plunge into ASICS.  He went with Innosilicon to mine SHA256 sending them slightly over 1 BTC for his first ASIC rig which was supposed to be NEW latest production.

After transfering BTC to them, he didn't receive anything and began emailing & calling.  All he got were these "You be patent [sic] - it take time shiped" which could mean anything -- but they had no tracking number.

After 4 months of calling & writing,  they finally sent an email with a tracking number, which meant they were lying about it taking time or being "shiped".  It took 3.5 weeks to arrive in California, for a total of 5 months after he transferred the BTC to Innosilicon.

The unit he got had a streak of brown dust going through the tube between the two fans.  It was obviously used for quite some time - probably the past 6 months.  It ran for 2 weeks before it blew smoke out the fan and died.

Innosilicon's response was "wartei [sic] no cover smoke burn - you ship us pay fix firstlly"  Translation:  You're a sucker, send us some more of your bitcoin!

So lessons learned:

1 - they lie
2 - they take your BTC (ever wonder why they don't take Visa?)
3 - they send you used junk they no longer want, probably because it is no longer profitable to run
4 - when it burns up, they want more money to fix it because their "wartei not cover smoke burn"

To sum it up, it's easier to just erase wallet.dat rather than deal with these idiots.  By the time you get your hardware, it is obsolete and worn out from use making money for Innosilicon

Guys i'm so sorry, but can you link us the sites from which you made the purchases ?
Aside, they might be right  with what they said but most users of this community won't believe or take their claim serious because they didn't provide the right proof to back what they said along with the screen shot showing the email which contain the whole conversation.

I think this is the point. But what about you, what do you think about Innosilicon?

if it's not scam, then  it's a rip off at best case scenario, you going to pay 3100$ for a 44th miner ?

i understand you are in EU zone, so power price is well over 5 cents , you are looking at 1.5 years to roi.

let alone the bad quality these guys are known for.

please do some math before jumping in like that.

First of all, thank you for the answer, I have been years out of anything which can be called ''forum'' and I almost forgot how pleasant is to have the possibility to share experience and opinions with the other online.

Actually i would be to naive to buy at that price from them. Even if Ebang E11 ++ ''seems'' to have and efficiency around 50 J/TH.

My current price of electricity is 0,075 $/kWh for the first year starting from June 2019, so for me the efficiency rate of the hardware is the most important thing at the moment.

McGordy.

No one knows if these units ever shipped to anyone or if there will actually be a delivery on them. I would be checking with Ebang before anything, if for no other reason than to confirm you would have warranty for that gear if purchased through a reseller. Next how did you find these resellers you checked with? if you've never done business with them I would hold off and do more research on them before sending cash. During the last run there were "reseller" popping up every day looking super legit, ripping people off.

Mikeywith makes a great point about the price you were quoted as well. You would be much better off buying any of the current gear out there, even with the pre-order wait times. Check out this list for some gear you might want to take a look at.

Current list of Competitive Hardware

So it's clear that I have to do more research about the manufacturers in this sector, and actually the best thing is try to buy directly from them as i understood.

All my doubts are given by the fact i always worked as a middle-man and ''sales manager'' when i used to own my smallish company, but from what i can learn day by day this sector seems to be poor from what concerns the ''entrepreneurial ethics''.

I will use your post as guideline, I don't want to jump to conclusions but seems, apart from Ebang, that my choices are between Innosilicon T3-39/43 and Bitmain S15.

Thanks again for your time guys!

Hey guys,

i asked to three resellers (about actually i don't have warranties on the fact that they're are more or less legit) to quote me a price of a number of 50 units.
Just one of them answered me with this:

Quote
We will be happy to delivery of 50 pieces Ebang E11++ 44TH/S Bitcoin miner & PSU to your address in ######.

Normal price: 50 x  € 2950 = €  147.500
Insured Express shipping with Track & Trace: € 5.000
Total: 152.500

Discounted price: 50 x € 2750 = € 137.500
Insured shipping with Track & Trace: Free
Total: € 137.500

We expect to send these miners the first week of April to ######, the miners will first arrive in the Netherlands, we pay all customs duties, after verifying all miners, we will send the miners to your country within 24 hours.

Does that price can be considered as legit?

The aforementioned reseller is: https://miners.nl

The other two, from which i haven't received an answer yet, are: https://miningwholesale.eu and https://bitech-mining.com

Does someone already have done deals with one of them?
